Switch has a PPSSPP port now, with cheats, you can make Peace Walker run at 60fps but it runs sub at around 40fps at 2x resolution. So I'm wondering if anyone else tried the same and found a good cpu overclock for stable 60fps.

Yeah, it is, but it works. Sure, Dolphin works pretty well on Switch with android too but doesn't have anything for Horizon yet either.

It's like any other animal raising game. The music is calming, the animals are cute, there's things to work towards as you slowly make a more invested environment for your animals.

I wish there was 45fps patch for Demon's Souls. 60fps is nice but dropping it is pretty jarring, at 45 I'm pretty sure I can lock it. Until then i think I'll stick to 30fps locked.

Not really, there is still the random stuttering that I got at 30fps but overall it's 60. If I break a ton of boxes I drop like 5fps for .1 seconds when I'm at 60fps, at 30fps it didn't drop at all.

It's just a matter of OC, like when people say they hear audio crackling that's just too slow a CPU.

How do I know if an emulator is accurate? I keep hearing mednafen isn't accurate, but looking at footage of real Saturn gameplay and mednafen they look the same

Also I want to play Fatal Frame, did they fix that final boss and other graphical issues?

Look it up or compare to the actual console. N64 emulators for example are nothing like the console when placed side by side.

Mednafen PS1 is very accurate, Mednafen Saturn isn't 100% accurate (something about Panzer Dragokn Saga is the most famous one) but it's one of the best Saturn emulators considering with SFF you need Daemon Tools malware to mount disc images to play them.

Im at 4.5Ghz and if I destroy a box im at 5 fps for a full 5-9 seconds until the objects stop being flagged as havok objects. What settings do you have and cpu?

So having already played Dark Souls 1-3 and is it normal that Demon's Souls feels like an absolute joke most of the time? People would say Demon's Souls was way harder than Dark Souls but I can see now that was either nostalgia or total bullshit.

I'm thinking of upgrading my CPU in a few weeks to better run RPCS3 specifically. It runs on my Ryzen 1300X alright if I have no other applications running at all, but I'd rather have it run better and also have more apps running. Is the new Ryzen 5 good enough, or should I jump to the new Ryzen 7?

IT was a real bitch to get running, but i got El Shaddai working, which is a game i've been meaning to play for AGES. and it's pretty damn good. I had to use an older version of the emu to make it work, and there's audio stutters and only runs at ps3 resolution, but it's really really good

It was more of an evolution to Evergrace more than anything. Just nice challenging action RPGs that have their hard points. Demons Souls has Maneaters and Flamelurker. Dark Souls has O&S yadayada. Play them because they’re fun, not because they’re defined as difficult.

Touhou is a good entry point, personally I like Ten Desires a lot but not many people do
Deathsmiles is easy to get into and enough depth and difficulty to uncover if you like it, really anything by Cave
