i still have a sealed copy i bought while i worked at gamestop. i liked the 64 game, but i never got around to opening it

Play it man, OP isn't wrong it's so fucking good.

I argue RE Umbrella Chronicles is overall the best rail shooter but that game is still utterly fantastic

> Emulation for this game i still wonky
> Pointer controls on Dolhpin are still finicky meaning you can't do a good KB+M playthrough of the game

Sad

I'm surprised how little love this game gets compared to Treasure's other classics when it's just as good

It is really fun, art direction is great, and the game play is pure arcadey fun.

oh yeah, im sure it is. but by now its kinda hard for me to wanna pop a sealed copy lol. maybe i should just go grab a preowned from my local store.

Goddamnit user, i just left the pokemon thread to get away from these pictures making me want this game

don't you have a wii? the game is like 10 bucks

I mean I don't think it's that valuable sealed if that's what you mean, or do you just like having a sealed copy around? Eitherway, not like a preowned would cost much so it doesn't matter much.

What's wonky? I played it recently through Dolphin and didn't notice anything off.

If anything just softmod your Wii and download it.

Wii's are unironically cheaper than the game itself these days. Especially when stuff like wii mini exist.

I started playing this and then dropped it, heard nothing but good things about it though. I played the original on the virtual console. Funny how putting a character from japanese bullet shooter hell in smash as an assist led to them putting the original on the VN which lead to them actually putting out a sequel over a decade later. Really wish Saki had made it to smash.

I feel like the people who've played it put it up with Treasure's best, but it came out too late to gain traction with most of today's younger/less hardcore scene.

Stuff like Gunstar Heroes and Radiant Silvergun have the right mix of fame and accessibility that even people who think games age are interested in checking them out (and then reinforcing the circlejerk).

i really just like having a sealed copy. ive got like 15-20 sealed games sitting around. dont think they will be valuable, but i got them that way and i hate to open them. i have xenoblade chronicles on the wii same way lol, i bet its all actually garbage, but no one wanted to buy them at the game stop i worked at, and i wanted to save them from getting gutted or trashed

that is not House of the Dead 2.

They're called 3D shooters Nintenkiddie, rail shooters are games like virtua cop and pokemon snap. It is also not the best, you need to play more.

are you seriously proposing panzer dragoon type games and pokemon snap are not the same genre

One you move around in, making it similar to classic horizontal and vertical shooters, one you do not move around in and the game moves for you. Rail shooters are another genre from 3D shooters. You're probably a guy who uses the phrase "shmup" or "metroidvania."

I vacuumed up my sensor bar and fucked the cord years ago.

Bought a replacement one but the cursor jerks around sometimes. There are no obstructions and the bar is 100% centered. Any idea how to fix? It happens on both Wii and U.
