Ask a HUGE triple-A developer anything

Other than my name or the company I work for.

how big is your dick?

What do you specifically do?

how much dick do you suck on a daily basis?

7 inches

How do you spell your name using the English alphabet?

How to crash the industry the fastest way possible?

diameter?
It's not about length user, it's about girth and bend

When will you get your head out of your ass and make a game that isn't outright abhorrently garbage?
And what should I do to ensure the bankruptcy of you and your ilk?

I've been a director, an executive producer, and a project leader.

what games have you developed and what was your role?

So, you've been demanding everything while doing nothing and getting paid for it. You're in no way, shape or form a developer.

ET

How big is Batista's Dick?

I'm not telling you any specific game but I worked on production and design for a PC game in 1996, not a big game so don't try to guess

Whats the genre of the game you are working on right now? Will it be announced tomorrow?

How deep have you researched robot sexual relations? Phone sex is just a technological form of exhibitionism

Also do you use taunt buttons in games that just play an animation with no use other than display?

Already been announced, it's an action RPG

Give any proofs you are not larper, RIGHT NOW.

I frequently taunt.

1. get a tripcode
2. how bogged down are you by meetings, generally how is the size of the company negatively affecting deadlines?

Why are AAA games now low-budget, low-effort trash?

It's mostly because of the company CEOs and treatment of game companies as purely companies and less as an artistic medium

Death Rally.

It's not death rally

How much of an open con game is game development? Is it management’s job to scam as much budget as possible from publishers to run the office lifestyle for a few years and then shit something out in 6 months?

Roll Caskett or Tron Bonne?

Attached: 1560321143088.jpg (608x850, 153K)

1. Okay.
2. The size of the company makes deadlines one of the most important things ever, and the game's quality is less important. Also, I hate meetings.

Y'all have any remote workers? Open to remote work?

Roll.

why is he inhaling a cigar? Does bb even know how to smoke?

We don't, everyone works in the office.

Management prioritizes deadlines. Often that would cause problems with employees but if work goes smoothly we hit deadlines.

Any co-workers who don't actually like or play games?

A few, but thankfully, none of them work directly in the development of the game.

Stop being a faggot sarpe

you guys know what we want
why do you always deliberately throw away that shit and make cashgrabs instead

Leak/hint something that can't be traced to you specifically so we won't laugh at your LARP attempt in the future.

We don't get to make what we want, we get to make a game with the best money spent to money gained ratio.

games aren't art retard

Will VR launch vidya into a new golden age of indie development akin to the early days of DOOM?

Like what

Is the 60$ price tag actually sustainable or is it really true that big devs/publishers HAVE to push DLC, microtransactions, and other forms of monetization on their high profile games to make a significant profit because 60$ game sales don't cut it anymore?

Probably. My observation is that the next step is always more interaction.

Describe a project you're not working on directly that might be revealed in the near future, or any rumored games you've heard from industry friends who work at other companies.

60 dollars is a good price tag, but often times less reliable games have DLC planned before release.

How do you feel about youtubeniggers making more money then you do for playing vidya?

If you could have it your way, and industry constraints weren't an issue, in what direction would you personally like to steer vidya development? Towards deeper interactivity, deeper emulation, more cinematic qualities, more cash-grabbiness so you can make a quick buck, etc.?

Reliable as in the devs don't think their games' sales will make enough money to break even and turn in a profit?

How much do I need to pay for the full experience of a game?

r-r-rollin

As in games that aren't guaranteed to make money (usually new series)

>AMA
How many miles of cock does a man have to suck to make them think Yea Forums and reddit are the same thing?

>a fucking bard
oh well, such is fate

Not sure exactly how soon, but this year, a new first person shooter that's PS4 exclusive is what I've heard

bards are based
or should I say bardsed?

Attached: 1553597795833.gif (344x203, 3.88M)

Who's the dumb faggot who thinks console exclusive FPS's are a good idea?

I've always played bard in DnD campaigns.

Who cares?
Filtered.

That's pretty vague. Can you provide at least a bit more info regarding the setting/tone of the game? Single player, multiplayer focused?

How long will the average big budget single player game get next gen with the rising graphical demands?

20 dollars.

Killzone?

Mainly multiplayer, takes place in the very far future. Last game was in 2013 (I think)

*How long will the average big budget single player game next gen take to make with the rising graphical demands?

120 million.

Do you have PS5 and/or Scarlett dev kits? If so, how powerful are they?

Faggot still hasn't answered my question

is crunch actually that bad or is it easily replaceable code monkeys / qa testers complaining?

So Killzone then.

Thanks user.
To go off Do you have any next-gen console devkits, and if so, do you like them? What are you most excited about for next-gen tech/consoles?

I do not.

why do pee pee and poo poo stink stink?

Killzone died with Shadowfall and glassing a whole planet. The only interesting part of that game is long dead.

I'm not particularly excited for next-gen consoles actually. I find the difference between 4k and 8k miniscule and that 4k is fine as a standard, new consoles can't add much.

It's really really awful

Isn't the GPU upgrade pretty eh and the CPU upgrade being the big thing?

I do PC shit mainly, so console upgrades aren't my focus.

Maybe they'll try to reboot the series? Or finally make the Helghast the protagonists?

What's your favorite game that has released in the past three years and what do you think is the best path to success for someone on a low budget/one many army indie dev?

Is this a question? BOTW. Easily. Advice for indie devs: Go with 90s game design strategies and older looking graphics/easy game elements. Often times those games would have super small teams.

Go flaunt somewhere else skill junky

Have you ever had to work on a genre or game or whatever that you didn’t like? I eventually got bored as shit of my team’s game after a year of dev time (makes me wonder if the industry is right for me)

Bullshit.

I've mostly worked on stuff I like, but I occasionally have to work on genres I despise. I hate adding multiplayer to my games more than anything else. Hating your current game is normal.

>not-space nazis getting their own game
