go up until you hit the huge lake, go left, and go down

you are now in rail crossing and are a sad clown

Of course I went the wrong fucking way, god damnit.

just go north till you find the lurker and take the rubble heap before them

How in there everliving fuck do I convince stig in the todd shit quest im going more insane than todd is right now

Go through his personalities, focus on the painting if you're asking about that and check out the other one in the other room.

I'm derping out a bit, but how do I find the right grave in the graveyard?

I've got the bone crank and I've got the sketch from Yngwar, but I can't see any identifiable markings on any of the hoists, and I can't go through them one by one because ghosts will eat my soul

I am done with all of them except Stig and it doesn't make any sense

Just murder him, it's what I did :^)

Stig sucks. There's a right order of asking him. With high enough will, it will highlight which one to ask.

Huh. Never noticed that the character portraits get darker or light depending on the amount of light around you

did it the first time

thank you guys I did it by now but I was acutally becoming very butthurt about it

Yeah this looks like a good idea.

Trying out a stealth and knife character for the first time, it’s pretty neat. Relying a lot on items like bear traps for some enemies though.

The fuck you lookin' at, manlet?

Can Ezra sell a laser gun at the start, at least?

He's strangely immune to mechanical damage for some reason. Think it might be a bug. No fucking way Stygg would introduce an immortal NPC in the game, would he?

I think with some persuasion you can get one from the armory at the start

Sup Yea Forums. Am absolute noob. I need to gain a couple of levels quickly to make my build (10 CON 10 WILL 7 INT 4 DEX) viable. What are some easy and/or cheesable oddities I can pick up to raise my skills ASAP? Thank you!

Doubt it but you might get the parts from him and Junkyard

I've only ever seen the option for a hammerer, sword, or shotgun.

Did you try it yet user?

Just go to some place you havent explored already or do some quests

I literally just clicked on every one, mine happened to be in the last room

>Depot difficulty
I'm done here. This is min max save/load simulator.

I had a las pistol after doin the psy beetles

you can buy a frame from jonas and the rest from ezra

and after you get your first acid pistol life will be good

this is it Yea Forums, i'm just gonna end it here, I dont think I can take this shit anymore.

lel, just get some molotovs and craft some leather armor with acid resist

every major settlement tends to have shit lying around in barrels, core and foundry especially

Filtered

are you playing on normal? then try to understand the game mechanics

You already posted that in these threads before, m8

just use an smg for junkyard, like a rational person would, if you can beat the bottom floor of it you get the mp6

maybe you should have picked classic instead of the tedious way Styg wanted you to do it

Just try harder m8. I beat depot A on dominating with fucking throwing knives as my main weapon.

molotovs, and an smg should get you through with minimal issue

You mean
>you spent 300 hours in game so you know every encounter and now can do max difficulty run
Why SMG?
>burst is 99% miss
>normal barely damage dogs

Yeah it's dumb.

honestly I don't understand the design desicion to force you to lose to the Faceless at the University

because of that I've fucked off to expedition

can someone clarify on the fact that that faceless fight is unwinnable

because I really wanted to win it and not take the elevator

also after you beat the game can you come back to underrail, and do the things you missed?

what happens? also any other good way to cash in with the Acorn? I am trying to fund my DC run

Also any nice things to do with todd?

Ezra sells the blueprint that early in the game?

I am pretty sure but mb you gotta be lucky with the store refresh

the mp6 which you find after beating a group of mutants in the basement has a bonus to burst precision, you should have 50 percent bursts at medium range maybe more with night vision, with that and siphoner armor it becomes quite easy, the mutants can't damage you for shit at range and molotovs will kite them and do half the damage

You have to use the elevator to escape, the faceless never stop. After the Deep Caverns, you can keep playing as if you never went down, the institute stays locked after though.
Bring him to the Ferryman

will do the Professor choice was not that good imo

Last week too

It's his pet DMNPC. Tanner is also invincible.

Is spear chucking just a meme build or does it actually work? I've been seeing people finish the game with a spear and shield build, but nothing really about spear throws beyond some meme posts.

The latest patch said that it should have fixed the footlocker disappearing at the end of Expedition, is it still in testing or something?
I got a shit load of loot in there and I can't find it anywhere, wanna see if I have to load.

I'm playing a tin can machete build ready to level up to 12.
Is putting that 9th point in strength for tungsten armor worth it or should I keep maxing dex?
The damage threshold seems very nice but the armor penalty sucks.
Also what's the tin can chad's stance on enhancements like blades and spikes?
Are they worth the armor penalty?

Attached: tincan machete.png (1905x920, 158K)

Eidein's never heard of it and explains what oaks and acorns are.

I'm bored of knives, someone give me a new build.

something + chem pistols

Is a sniper build viable in this game?

Can anyone help me with a link or something so I make one

Do I miss on something important/neat by skipping the viridiscent quarry? because fuck the marsh and fuck facing locusts and serpents as a melee fag

Its just a side entrance for LemCo

hello glownigger

should I get TM too?
i think its really good, also I'm torn between a sniper or a shotgun guy. Help.

credits, hope you mean them stygies

>Tailoring

actual credits yes

can't even come up with a believable lie on the internet, miss miss miss

DOMINATING teaches you to put your pride aside and be more pragmatic

Attached: 20190819005643_1.jpg (1024x768, 228K)

so stygian coins you mean

Get TM if you want. Do a sniper/shotgun build then.

Nah Tanner gives you monopoly money for it. Pretty funny.

no like shitty SGS Credits and Information

In reality, I turned that shore into the D day coast because many natives ignored me and flanked the Aegis troopers to the right

'Tism

Believe me, there are others that dwarf my autism

This is not lie. 6lvl 7.62mm Jaguar.
66% hit chance
3 misses in row
I deal no damage to them.

Thing is, I want to focus on one of those.
Any advice? I'll probably go Sniper first, but Idk if its viable to do a shotgun as well. Or SMG.

Use nets and flares to tank their evasion.

this is what im worried about

Dear Styg,
Please add shock throwing knives
Please allow us to craft 30 throwing knives at a time instead of 10 when using a poison. I'm throwing 4-5 of these things a turn
Also, being able to pick up missed knives would be nice but not necessary QoL addition

Thanks
-user

Attached: 1563626725648.jpg (346x273, 22K)

molotovs also function like flares

>not having one-hundred-and-ten (110) batteries

Attached: WEW.png (703x661, 124K)

mp6 has bonus to burst precision which would probably put you at 80 in the same ranges, still better than the 99 percent chance to miss you declared earlier

an smg caltrops and molotovs will beat depot A no problem

Anyone have had any problems with the Jet Ski shop after stealing parts from the Jets? The fucking cameras see me every time obviously, but no one is giving a shit yet. Will this bite my ass later?

Anyone know if the Ferryman still goes to the savages' village after your genocided them?
I'm waiting for him at J11, but he's not leaving the pirate base.

Snipers need a back up SMG or shotgun when enemies get too close, so just pick one. Running away and shooting tanks your accuracy. Shoot, run, end turn to get the focus next turn. You'll probably need to pick a feat or two for SMGs or shotguns. Get 55 TM for Psycho-temporal Contraction, adrenaline spell. Get 25 PK for forcefield.

Do caltrops last forever?

Yes.

Yes until someone steps on them
This is why we take Sure Step feat, kids

shitthium baterries, also why do you have 18 strength on a crossbow build

Where can I get find a laser/chem pistol early game?

Could you help me by showing me a build like that?
I'm a new player so I don't have a lot of experience making builds.
Also, I'll probably go with Sniper/shotgun then. It is probably more fun and maybe OP with the sixth shell perk. I don't know.
Thanks a lot for the help so far anyway

In junkyard. Fixer has everything you need to make an acid chem pistol and the slum electronics chick can get you energy weapons.

Yeah. It was viable before the expac, and now its even better.

Invest heavily in stealth, guns and crafting skills. Get some night vision goggles and go fucking ham.

I threw this together pretty quick, but its basically what a primary sniper with a backup shotgun would look like ish. You should change your stats a bit depending on what you want with backup weapons(pistol, SMG, AR), and could invest more heavily in traps instead of social skills.

Basically, start a fight in stealth, snipe 1 guy, aimed shot another. With a properly built spearhead you can shoot twice a turn. Then pop the temporal skill that reduces cooldown and aimed shot again, pop flashbangs, restealth, snipe again. Keep repeating. Sniper rifles are the game's big dick damage option. You just have to get good at always being the one starting fights and always keeping away from enemies. Bear traps, caltrops and flashbangs are you best friends.

Attached: sniper.jpg (1909x937, 301K)

So hacking, lockpicking, crafting, stealth - skill taxes?

My issue is always having enough points to pump both tailoring and electronics that early. Need electronics for a nice shield right after depot A, but nice tailoring for the invincibility armor.

If I didn't constantly sell my batteries, I would have like 500 of them by now

I never use shields or anything electrical though, so they just stack up for me

Crafting is almost always a must
Lockpicking and hacking are almost even, depending on your build/crafting
>Stealth
Meh

Attached: saltyrunback.jpg (1280x720, 283K)

underrail info tm/build/?GQUDBwUQAwfCh1oAAAAAwocAAAAAa3RIU2sAGQA3AABUKwE5HcKwNQIzfkpLwoVTMd-_

Psi is just for buffing and force field. You're not doing any damage with it.

Thanks a lot user
I'll do this build, then. Also, in what order should I take the crafting skills? What should I focus first besides gun/stealth/throw/hack/lockpicking/TM?

Is the early game difficult or is there a way to kick ass early on

You don't need to put a single point in stealth. You can get your effective stealth skill over 100 just from crafted black cloth gear and cloaking, which is more than enough for any particularly dicey situation. If your build benefits directly from stealth (snipers for example) then yeah, max it, but most builds don't need it at all.

Okay I'll take a picture of this one as well.

What is the best option for a crafted crossbow

Make a spearhead sniper rifle with a reloader. It drops the AP cost down to 23, so you can fire twice a round since you only get 50 AP a turn. Other sniper rifles have higher damage and AP, only letting you shoot once a turn.

t. user who committed suicide in the Fetid Marsh

Cyclon with pneumatic reloader and crit dmg scope for the 14 AP bolts

It really depends on you user. Getting some mechanics early so you can craft a decent sniper rifle early isn't a terrible idea, but snipers don't really take off until you can craft a properly kitted out spearhead or something comparable. You will be fine early just using whatever gun is available. You don't BECOME a sniper right away. Just putting points in guns and using stealth will get you through to depot A. Just use your best gun. At 6 strength you can use an AR, shotgun, SMG, pistol, wahtever you want. Depot A can be made a joke with some tailoring (40-45ish effective) skill to get mutant dog leather armor or siphoner leather armor, some molotovs and some EMP grenades.

Biology is really just convenience and money saving early on. You can buy the basic meds if you want, so you have no big reason to pump it early aside from clearing your stash of all the hearts and adrenaline glands and shit you pick up.

Same with chem. You only really need some molotovs, frags and flashbangs and you can buy them if you want. Investing in chem is just convenience.

As for TM, 25 is fine early on since that will get you increment which is all you need it for really. You can put the rest of the points in as you get contraction and maybe stasis if you want stasis.

Electronics is nice right after depot A, you only need it for a few components before that.

So I guess, focus on guns, stealth, throw, hack, lockpick, TM to 25, Mechanics, then whatever you want until you get past Depot A, then just put points where you benefit most.

I'm a psi wizard. Those bugs died as easy as everything else.

>I'm a psi
Ok cheater

>cheater
Thats psi god to you.

Is there ever a reason to use a regular spear once you get electro and energy spears? I feel like they do so much more damage.

Here they come!

user what are you doing

Take away trap abilities to 100 effective skill and dump it elsewhere, i suggest dodge/evasion

hey anons how much should I invest in psi for a full psi build? whats the cap needed on those skills?
how about lockpick and hacking?
thanks in advance my dudes

What's the difference between blades? Like, does Tungsten cause more bleeding damage or Tichrome proc bleed more often than tungsten? Is it a bear trap, caltrop, or throwing knife kind of thing where the material doesn't matter? Tungsten makes things weigh more than just regular steel or tichrome blades.

He clearly really hates it when enemies spot his traps.

>hey anons how much should I invest in psi for a full psi build? whats the cap needed on those skills?
You keep maxing out all 4 psi schools every level
You gonna need lockpicking and hacking in almost equal manner, and by that I mean quite a lot

Bear traps and caltrops are the same regardless of the metal and the quality of it
Not sure about throwing knifes, I personally never used it, but I think it's the same
The different metals on blades doesnt matter I think, but it's quality

Feel free to prove me wrong tho, I'm not sure

Check the wiki.

>You keep maxing out all 4 psi schools every level
That's an absolutely retarded way to do things.

TiChrome is lower AP cost
Other metals is just difference in crit chance/crit dmg

I just finished clearing out the Warehouse filled with Raiders and Rats and got told to go to Junktown.

It was fun but also difficult. I am playing Unarmed and trying to fight people with guns, especially if there are multiple, is just impossible. To defeat the raider leader and save the civilians I ended up sneaking into the air vent, coming out in the room next to them, then throwing down some caltrops followed by a molotov right into the 3 of them. Took a few tries for my molotov to not somehow explode in my hand, but I managed to get them down. Exploring the floor filled with robots proved nearly impossible, even with pretty good stealth. I just grabbed the key off the corpse and got the fuck out. I just hit level 6 and got Fancy Footwork and I am counting down the days till I can get Combo. I am playing on Oddity EXP Mode, so I am not sure how long that will take.

In the meantime I guess this is my character.

don't be one of those autists who insist anything but tranquiity level TM high enough just to get stasis and stop, like a metagaming faggot

nah, serrated blades not knives
wiki says tungsten makes boots heavier but nothing about bleed or bleed proc

Oh
its the same shit, better quality better bleed damage

What crafting levels do I need to make Siphoner Leather Armor?

Makes me wonder what the point of the increased weight is

Is there a downside for not attending the hourly invasions at the Black Sea?

Depends on the siphoner leather quality

Motiff, Tungsten is always heavier than other metals

the base gets wrecked

Well shit, looks like I'm rerolling a save. I was so far in the Pirate's base too

Well if I want to make it before heading to the Depot, around what level should I look to have my tailoring at?

Can you get Spear AP cost under 17? Seems its 18 for tichrome and minus 1 for tabis, but that still is over 50 for three stabs.

Sounds about right. On further thought, slearly the cameras are meant to prevent you from mucking with Ray's ski's, but they don't work at all. Manipulating the prices like that is basically just cheating honestly.

Wait! They don't get completely annihlated, they just lose men and supplies.

Around 50, 70 at most, although I dont actively play with leather armours so dont quote me on this

Is there a way to regain men and supplies, because iirc that is an actual resource when I gave medical supplies away earlier

Go for the Doctors coat / catalyzing belt / Siphoner tabis

40-50. You don't need the best possible leather. You can get by just fine with relatively low quality stuff, the acid resist will still be very high for the damage you are taking.

I need to get some kind of siphoner armor ASAP since I'm melting myself on these puddles.

Or you could get Sure Step feat

you NEED to pick surestep or you are fucked

I did Depot A in normal cloth crit headgear and some rando tabis from blaine

Yeah, that works too. These mutants don't give a fuck about acid though, right?

junkyard muties get hurt, mutants and mutant dogs tank it

Nope
Fire and poision caltrops/traps are your best friends in Depot A

just warcrime em with fire

and don't forget that you can still acid entangle them to block doors

Fixer was only selling 5 acid collectors :^(

fucking trial and error bullshit

What are we supposed to do with the black stone in there? I tried blowing it up with a grenade and all I did was make it hit the floor and I still can't do anything with it. I can't shoot it with a laser pistol, which was how I defeated Magnus' ghost after chugging a bottle of The Juice. I probably did that last part a retarded way instead of some easy way.

you have basically made my build

tho Im speccing into Dodge/evasion
also get Mercantile to 105 to get all the vendor checks for uber crafting

don't forget to specc into three pointer and grenadier relativly eary

also get cooked shot (BERRY IMPORTANT), High technicalities, opportunist mb into execute which I didn't need really

I also picked up Nimble for the extra dodge/evasion combined with the siphoner tabi you still have decent stats

Dissasemble is a meme

For stats im not optimal but it works at 24

3 8 8 3 11 3 10

I didnt got there, I'm trying to somehow fucking killing these 5 great wyrms acid entangling me from 10000 kilometers away god fucking damm it

just drop that last Con point and put it into int

lol just kill the priest before he summon them

I killed the priest already, guess I couldnt get him on time

Is 105 all you need for a Mercantile? Is there a need to up past that other then price's?

Talk to the ferryman to find out where he threw the shard, find the symbol on the snake statue in native village or from Unga Bunga Man, go to the boneyard and try to find it.

First off, first time at Black Sea, didnt even know that
Second, with the amount of psikers there was no way for me to kill them all silently, while Magnesium grenades and gas grenades with force field and proxy did the trick, it was noisy as fuck and lured the Priest attention

Do they worship serpent space super Satan?

I prefer the staff. 15% reduced cost and buffed psi is more generally useful than just buffing one skill. Of course you use both, but still.

>First off, first time at Black Sea, didnt even know that
Mine too, I just figured out priests are top priority targets and I start combat sniping them first. I'm the guy that didn't even know the torch exists, which I'm assuming would have helped kill Magnus' ghost a lot easier than shooting it with a laser pistol for a half hour.

does wearing gray army armors around slavic npcs trigger any special responses?

You can sneak around their base wearing it if you have a high enough persuasion.

>What in good God's name is this?
>Do they worship serpent space super Satan?
Long story short, yes, yes they do. And you are justified in genociding the SHIT out of them for it.

Even the women, children and elderly?

I felt justified doing it just because of the fact that they're mutating into snake men, and the fact that they refused to communicate, and started every fucking fight, and the human sacrifice, and having everything covered in human bones. They didn't seem like nice people.

Especially them.

Especially the women, children, and elderly.

And don't forget about the second village!

They'll only grow up to pass down their literal cthonic evil bullshit worship, so unironically, yes.

Do you need to wipe out both or just one to stop the attacks? I'm going through both anyway but I'd just like to know for posterity.

So this is the big man himself
Doesnt seem too scary

Shame I'm not able to duel him

Attached: 20190819043916_1.jpg (1024x768, 223K)

I think you just have to kill the Head Priest to stop the invasions, if not, all the named characters.

I hope you have some The Juice and a weapon that deals energy. You're gonna be ghost bustin' soon.

Attached: 20190818034708_1.jpg (1920x1080, 489K)

Whoops wrong one.

Attached: 20190818041704_1.jpg (1920x1080, 212K)

Only the big village, or probably just Priest and/or Magnar.

>Expose Weakness
Well
Shit

No one knows the exact trigger yet, but it's probably at least killing Magnar and his death fart ghost. Unknown if it requires any more than that, but most people don't stop once they start.

Both dummy

That was anticlimatic

Attached: Succ.jpg (1024x768, 185K)

Do you need chemistry to get fancy bullets and war crimes grenades in any reliable quantities? Don't think I've ever seen them for sale so far.

it's not over yet Snake

Now I'm being attacked for what it seem to be a fart cloud
Neat

The good side is that my shield absorbs all the damage, so I suppose I can tank him for a while
Bottoms up now

Attached: 20190819050917_1.jpg (1024x768, 190K)

At best, you can get magnesium grenades in low quantities from Kevin in Foundry if you pass the second mercantile check. Special bulletes, other than JHP or W2C, are never sold.

Damn. Alright, guess I'm dumping half a level into chemistry then.

>37% chance to hit angry fart cloud
Welp that's a bummer
Guess I will have to mind punch him to oblivion

>Tried psi, chem pistols, crossbows, smg
>Get burned out and lose interest

I think there's only one build that can rekindle my fire for this game.

Attached: TIME TO PLAY THE GAME.png (1920x1080, 2.81M)

How am I supposed to do the native graveyard?

There's some native in the village nearby going crazy in front of a rune. Memorize what it looks like, find the crank laying around in the graveyard, and pull up the corpse and search the spot on the body corresponding to the ferryman's story. Don't dig through pots or else you'll piss off the ghosts, you can brute force it so long as you know the rune within two saves if you really want to

Just killed Magnar
Had to take a different approach, ditched the metal armour and got my happy merchant wear, cave hooper infused leather tabi/leather armor, and proceed to kite him and mind punch him to death

In reality, this was somewhat disappointing, I expected something more intense than this

Attached: 20190819061355_1.jpg (1024x768, 260K)

>have three games going simulataneously
>still not sure which one I like most
Spears, shotguns or psi god. Its just hard to pick.

I kind of want to try a sniper now that they got more OP too.

>started Underrail and another separate game at the same time
>other game is too demanding and still will be for a while so can't focus too much on Underrail for the time being
>lurk these threads and wait until I become a Psi God so I can nut to all the juicy lore
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

which game are you talking about

What to play for a first playtrough?

do you like melee or ranged?
stealth or tank?
slav magic or none?

Whatever you want.

Is this fun if I don't really work on my build and just want to go different methods of killing while not being challenged enough to steep into the autism to finish it?

This looks so boring

Four quick questions.
How long do I have to wait for Super Steel to be made?
Does the speed up feature shorten the wait time?
If I get shit q, am I expected to just reload and wait again?
Finally, if I choose to pay the 6000 or 9000 charons, do all pieces of metal come out at the same quality or is it better to only pay 3000 per smelt?

Attached: Poki.jpg (500x376, 36K)

WoW BC server

1. something like 90 irl minutes
2. yes but you should use the speedhack
3. this is up to you if you want to savescum because you get shit quality but i'd probably do it too because investing 3k charons just to get shit feels really eh
4. they are all random quality so if you really want to savescum high quality you just smelt one each time

30 minutes.
Yes.
No, you can use CE to edit the quality and I think for the time being, if you reload from the autosave the quality is rerolled when you get it from him.
How lucky do you feel about gambling?

I got q134, is that decent do you think? I might just keep this one and maybe if I want to make an endgame set I'll just use CE rather than waiting hours to get higher q.
I think q134 sounds decent though but maybe it's shit for super steel, I honestly don't know.

Kokoschka says you dishonor the uniform and refuses to talk to you (but im a woman), havent tried the others in the Zone

underrail.com/wiki/index.php?title=Super_Steel_Plates

Bretty gud. 130 quality has 17 DT where 160 quality has 20 DT.

>discover naval mines
>summon the Ferryman
>pay 600 cha
>mines dissapeared, quest done
>camp defence unchanged, natives still attacking
what went wrong?

The best defense is a good GENOCIDE

>new shotgun character, DOMINATING
>feel a bit underwhelmed for the first few levels
>get leading shot
>damage instantly doubles, start gibbing everything in 2-3 shots

what the hell is this feat, it's insane

leading shot and sixth shell are literally all you need to pop off it so good

how do you know he is not lying/is misinformed?

Give me 1 (ONE) reason not to pick up Paranoia. I want more initiative, spotting l*rker filth and mines better seems like a nice bonus too.

Shotguns are pretty good, but don't bother with Tungsten pellets. Also remember to get -5 AP cost if possible. I never found any good vindicator frames and had to use that shitty 25AP cost.

other npcs say the same

you got there somehow fucko

>tfw want to beat the game but im burned out and dc is fucking shit
bros.....

Attached: teardrop.webm (1280x720, 1.23M)

and other npc faceless say that people you talked to might be misinformed or lying to you

tungsten can be very devastating against heavily armored target or good for stunning in bursts

Did you actually carry the fucking thing into the DC?

just finished fetid marsh, the absolute disdain for guns players was palpable I brought 380 762 with a 147 quality hornet and it wasn't enough, I ran out like halfway through

cheese the rest of it with effective 120 temporal skill, grenades, effective 100 thought control and psychokinesis, and an acid pistol, just when I thought I was through I fought 3 sea worms at once with rust ammo, as you might know they are completely immune

accuracy on guns should probably be buffed or allow us to hit 100 percent like psi does

I refused to have to back track with the shit I brought lol

Does uncanny dodge work off of effective dodge?

What's so bad about the fetid marsh? I always see everyone complaining about it, but I haven't been there yet.

you'll see

>tfw put together a combat shotgun
>slap an extra grip on it
This was the moment I realized that combat shotguns were a mistake.

Dumb anons who think you have to kill everything you see

How do i get a better crossbow? It's my first playthrough as a Stealth/Crossbow and i just finished Gorsky's mission. If have hard time dealing with 3/4 ennemies because my Zephyr crossbow kill usually in 2/3 shots.

Buy/loot/craft a better one
What did you expect

Did I miss some hints or clues with saving weapons cargo to Rail Crossing quest when that dude plants the timebomb?
I just save/loaded that thing till I got the right order.

Why?

The best gear is always stuff you craft, so pump mechanics and make a better one

With Stasis, LoC, Pseudo-Spatial Projection and a good shield you're literally unkillable what the fuck

>25 AP per shot
>need 1 more strength to use them properly
>they still deal less damage per shot than regular shotties

Can you find out more about the wider world in the addon? Or check what's going on on the surface?

Right but you can shoot 4 shots a turn with full auto and gain +15% damage due to opportunist/suppression.

literally only 1 combat shotgun that is the despot is 6 strength and its not even the good one

With a high enough trap skills, the right choices will be shown. There's very vague hints if you look at the back panel. Black markings indicates to cut the black wire. Two dots to indicate to hit the second switch, etc.

many rooms, many enemies it goes on and on

could be beaten with less struggle probably but I refused to backtrack for ammo

On a shotgun build, should I go tac vest or expedition leather?

>turn takes 140 hours to end because NPC try to shoot without ammo or walk forever where he cant walk
zzzz lazy slavs

Turn combat speed up then, dangus

It's at max already

>finsihed depo a
>ice the game a little
>reintalled windows
>expansions came out
>reinstall game
>lost my save
wtf this shit does not sync on steam ffs?

Can anyone post the flag of That russian military place you go through the Dude's rift ? Need it for OC memes

Attached: even speedcat is afraid.png (269x270, 152K)

you can get to depot a in like 1hour on 5x speed

>literally only 1 combat shotgun that is the despot is 6 strength
Uh, you sure? I remember making a Tyranny too and, unless I really wasn't paying attention due to its non-existent damage, it needed 6 too.

4 shots with each doing slightly less than 1 shot still means double the damage for the same AP cost.

yes why would i give it to someone when that thing might give some extra powerful shit?

I like siphoner, but pretty much any armor has its purpose, I wanted to make something with dodge and nimble and keep my options open for a first playthrough

huh, really?

Also you can make it 5 shots with full auto.

only the despot and the unique double barreled need 6 strength

its like 5 maps with burrowers and mutants in a row
complete your shit and going back? enjoy respawn

and what did the faceless offer you? a wet handshake and no explanation as usual?

How do I open this door? I believe this is where I must go

Attached: stuck.png (1920x1080, 1.8M)

So Naga Protectors can drop super steel. Neat

Attached: 20190819224440_1.jpg (2560x1440, 486K)

i dont remember exactly and cant ask him again but when you ask about it they say they dont know what it does and thats why they dont want it when you explain what it does (i talked to azif about it and tanner i think) they say those ppl might be lying and/or be misinformed

>the wider world in the addon?
My understanding is it talks about North Underrail (the actual civilized world), ancient cultures, and eldritch horrors.

the ladder to the south of you

Professor fucking tells you to take your shit from the footlocker when they pack up. Feel bad.
Yeah, but you don't even get any lore, because the cell leader is a regular guy. I don't know if they even manage to transport it to North Underrail if you give it to him, seems risky.

Sounds like misdirection because we have multiple sources that should have an idea of what it does and corroborator each other (Tanner, Azif, Ezra, Biocorp's main archive that informs all the Protectorate characters).

That just brings me a level above and that door is blocked too

wasn't there a hole in the ground somewhere there? i remember caves or something and ending up in that room

hmmmmm i dont remember excatly but there should be a ladder or a hole that bring you a level below

I'm playing psi sniper on dominating, so I'll add a couple of suggestions to this. You don't need to spend much on boosting damage. With maxed stealth, snipe will already kill anything that isn't a boss or packing metal armor in one hit. The latter is cleared up by w2c ammo, while the former will usually go down in snipe+aimed, but can just be cc'd until you take it down. Aimed shot only needs critical power and an anatomically aware scope to match snipe's damage, so not much point in boosting beyond that. So blindsiding, gun nut, and opportunist aren't doing a ton for you. Nimble also isn't worth it without going for dodge/evasion. You have a ton of movement points anyway and a 10-15% hit to your stealth is more than made up for by the stealth bonuses on armor you always wear anyway.

You really want psychokinesis at 25 for force field, and probably 45 for imprint. Maxing metathermics is also worthwhile for thermodynamic destabilization, giving you a very strong AoE that scales with enemy health and helps shore up sniper's biggest weakness which is dealing with large groups. Sometimes it's not quite enough on dominating due to jacked up evasion values diminishing the strength of AoE, but it still does a shit-ton of damage to everything and can be followed up with grenades, flashbangs, whatever to finish things off.

Some further things specific to dominating but not as important on normal would be that constitution is basically worthless. You can take some pot-shots, especially from pistols with a tac vest, but most things will just one-shot you and probably through the shield too. You can't afford to not max perception, since even with it maxed you'll run into things with high enough evasion to push you down to ~70% hit rate. Hit rate is already the bane of your existence, and the lower it is the more you're forced to spam f9. More than you already will be forced to when you miss like 3 95% shots in a row.

Fell in love with purging things after completing Expedition quest line.

Attached: 20190818212032_1.jpg (1600x900, 431K)

>spam f9. More than you already will be forced to when you miss like 3 95% shots in a row.
It's good to be a punch chad. If you miss 3 95s it's nothin personnel, still have 16 more attacks queued up.

Where's the secret vent that leads to the rejects?

Yo is my armour just too shit for the DLC or is it meant to be this fucking miserable? I can't get near an island without a dozen or more locust killing me off of my jetski (Glow, was this a bad idea for a low-con?) and those fucking red snakes just appear in front of me and wreck me everytime. Wearing a 12 DT tac-vest which is probably in dire need of upgrading but my shield carries me through most things but of course, no fucking shield on jetskis for no reason.
Also is there a quick way to recharge the jetski without taking the battery out, putting it into my inventory and then charging it?

Where can I buy the basic TM mentors? Stole Ethan medallion ages ago and now he wont teach me even if I give it back

The vent where they can escape? In the West Wing, I think in that small room with the coil spiders

right click a battery

Octavia best dead waifu.

Attached: Biotech_f1_l.png (300x300, 96K)

The west wing of the university, head west and then south to be in a room that has crawlers nearby. Then go north to loop back to the first screen, but behind some rubble. The vent is a room with coil spiders.

>Where can I buy the basic TM mentors?
They don't exist, just as mentors for basic spells of other schools don't exist.

The range of enemies in the DLC is also fucking asinine, Locusts and crossbowniggers sniping at me from outside of range is just dull.

>listening to the Ferryman's story about the shard
>go and get it from the graveyard
>can't tell the Ferryman I got it
Can I even do anything with this fancy rock? What the hell is it for? I wanted to show Yngwar too, but he's fucked off somewhere

You can give it to Azif or Six.

You can show it to Azif.

I remember seeing a force field mentor on a merchant, so that's not true

I made a Dude meme. Still haven't finished the quest but man is it great.
Sorry about the shit quality, forgot Adobe premiere is so useless it can't export video without encoder and had to render it by opening the entire project in After Effects, which apparently killed quality.
I may do a properly animated version once summer is over, for now I hope you enjoy this.

That's literally the only basic mentor that exists.

Get drunk as fuck off of Juice and check it again.

Is this thing the same as the Torch that everyone kept torching about?

So I guess I wont have LTI then
The wiki show mentors for the TM abilities though is this fake news or what

cute

Attached: 1520430896345.gif (356x332, 3.14M)

Thanks. I've got minimum Perception and didn't want to comb through the whole area while popping pills and honey.

Nice.

Attached: gj.jpg (398x500, 23K)

I just checked the trash stash in my house and I have like 3-4 of each advanced TM mentor and not a single basic mentor. This is on a fully cleared game.

Expected it to be shit desu, but it's alright.

also do note that glow is a bad jetski because the light actually improves hit chances for others to hit you

How much will is needed for all the LORE?

very cute user good work

I would bring more repair kits

hammer that's why

10 will
8 int

t.n.t bro

hehe

Attached: stories.png (1345x525, 56K)

they started it

Oh, AND it seems to have some of the lowest coverage out of the jetskis so maybe it was literally the worst choice for a CONlet SMG build. Might try swapping it out for that floating tank one.

>tfw dumped a load of points into mercantile and now the Oculus vendor is giving me 150+ quality parts
Thank you Jesus, now all I need to do is gain another 45XP to boost my crafting skills enough to use them

Good End achieved.

Attached: todd.jpg (1023x633, 135K)

Should I be juiced up at all times when I don't need other food effects? I found one rift spot in like 40 hours, back when I didn't even know what that weird blue spot was, and I feel like I should've seen more by now.

+ thought control and some perception (or snooping feat)

Fire suit won't be used. Acid immunity would help, do you have CAU suit? Don't need any batteries, they're all over the place there. Jackhammer won't hurt, but not needed.
They are all shit. Torpedo and Protectorate Cruiser are the best.
Yeah, I always recommend it. Everyone should get at least 55 effective Mercantile.

Is this the only place where you can get corrosive acid outside of DC? I didnt know she could sell it

Attached: katya.jpg (1441x897, 426K)

Nani?

if i just talk to tchorstist in dc but dont take their quests faceless wont turn hostile to me right?

Just talk to facecucks before talking to tchortists.

Is this in reference to Yngwar?

Faceless are a bit autistic and will turn hostile to you with little provocation, I would just go and talk to them first

Just a tiny bit autistic

>having 3 Int

He seems happy with the pirates as well. He gets a nice job, he talks more, he even gets a couple of lady friends.

Wait, you can hand him over to the pirates? That sounds really stupid and smart at the same time.

Interesting. Unfortunately that option was not available to me due to some minor previous disagreements / warcrimes.

>running the game blind
>like pistols and shit, try to run a pistol/sniper build
>realize pistols are shit and switch it out for shotguns
>still bothered I took one pistol related feat (Gunslinger) when I could have used it for something else when I'm at level 12 now
I mean it's normal difficulty, so I doubt it makes a huge deal in the end but fuck.

Hey bre just lemme rape your brain with my robot hand here then we'll go okay

It's normal, should of just stuck with the pistol bre lmao.

That line really got me.

I've restarted over less

Chem pistols are pretty good though, they even have a special belt that reduces AP cost by 4 and buffs damage

Gunslinger doesn't benefit them

How good is leading shot for shotguns? It sounds great on paper, but I'm worried it's one of those things where it doesn't actually have much of an effect in practice.

Gunslinger could actually be extremely useful for a sniper against fights like carnifex where you really want to win initiative.

its so good and essential its a feat every shotgun build should have

Correct.

Is doing the Arena the only way to get the oligarch's attention? I've done the Coretech missions, but it doesn't seem there isn't any other way around doing arena.

Yes, you need to kill the guy in the bomb disposal suit in the arena.

Alright, I'm trusting you on this one.

It's THE shotgun feat. If you intend to use them at all, you owe it to yourself to get it.

>Gunslinger doesn't benefit them
Fug, didn't even realise

>chem pistol build
>off-hand pistol + gunslinger
>win initiative and switch weapons
: ^ ]

>have paranoid feat
>have detection increase goggles
>STILL GET FUCKING SNUCK UP ON BY CRAWLERS

FUCK THESE LITTLE SHITS THAT FUCK OFF AS SOON AS THEY GET A HIT ON YOU FUCK

Why are there no good belts for psi characters?

Use flares, it makes anything sneaking through the light easier to spot.

doctor's pouch

Because psi characters are already borderline broken.

So the better quality materials the better the weapon you craft? You need more skill points for you to use higher quality items?

Lifting belt, bre.

t. Al Fabet

I think I'll go with shotguns next. How would you rate all these shotgun feats? Does ambush even work with shotguns?
>spend 50 AP switching the firearm with one one of your other chem/energy pistols

Attached: feats.png (316x625, 27K)

i mean what else is before depot a,
rathunds tutorial mission
psi beetles
gms
optionally you can also clear stalkers in tunnels

Yes.

>going from off-hand to main-hand is 50 AP
not that poster, wat

That's the gist of it, yeah. And it applies to armor too.

don't forget to eat a stuffed bat too

Fuck jet skis, this is a fucking retarded idea.
You cant use half of your shit because ????

Switching a weapon from inventory to hand is 50 AP. You don't use a single chem pistol, there's always need for a different chemical effect or different range form a laser pistol or stun from electro pistol. Wielding a firearm as an initiative stat stick is crippling with only 2 weapon slots.

What the hell am I supposed to do on this level of the Gauntlet? The lever doesn't do anything and the boxes were just filled with random chemicals

Attached: 20190819161756_1.jpg (1600x900, 313K)

will i ever reach 95% hit chance with swords on non entangled/incapacitated,
on every single enemy hit chance is around 80%, and amount of time i had to reload because i missed first hit on flurry is insane

You might want to take some Hypercerebrix user...

let's say i want to do a pistol build. what are some essential feats?
should i use big calliber and pick all the big crit feats? is there even any other way?

>use all or nothing skill
>cry when it fails
You'll be fucked even when you miss with 95%.
This.

I finally have enough free skill points to raise biology. Carrying 30 adrenal glands the whole game is about to pay off.

>he didn't go derailed from fear and push his Per to 18
>he didn't take 5 stacks of paranoia specialization
It's almost like you WANT to get surprise butt sex.

Rearrange the chemicals. Each box has a set chemical that needs to be put in it. Yellow lights mean you've got the right chem in but it's in the wrong box. Sometimes, the same chemical has to be used in two different boxes.

Oh right, fugg, I'm not off to a good start

5 STR: Sixth Shell > Leading Shot > Kneecap > Fragmented Chaos
7 STR: Sixth Shell > Full-Auto > Barrel Stare/Leading Shot > Fragmented Chaos > Pellet Mayhem

Have you met their bigger Brothers yet?

They laugh at your puny antidote

At least crawlers don't insert their eggs in you. Fucking NFT deserved everything Biocorp did to them and then some more.

That's why you take Irongut at a drop of a hat.

Biocorp did NOTHING wrong.

Biocorps only mistake was not killing all of them.

God dammit, is there any way to set it so combat doesn't automatically end? Far too often, I get screwed over because if the enemy is incapacitated and out of line of sight, combat just ends and there's a cooldown before I can re-initiate.

Shotguns just make this game so god damn easy. Why flurry with a sword when you can just blast a row of fuckers with 300 damage crits? Why dance around with a spear when you can just fucking shoot them? Base game cucks aren't relevant, don't @ me with
>b-but muh hammers and AR tincan builds
Fuck off

Is it possible to loot arena gladiators? I just realized I haven't tried but I usually don't have enough AP after killing them since it sends you back right after the turn you killed them ends.

Incapacitate them at low HP at the end of your turn, finish on the next and loot. They don't have anything good though, unless you're some lvl 5 hobo.

You need to set it up so that you can kill them in one attack while they are right next to you or close. Can be tricky to setup, but is possible.

show me your build, i want to go shotguns next

Yeah. I only really bother for the ancient rathound though.

hit the lever 10 times till you fight robots

Hacking is pretty useful in that situation, the only reason I could save the civilians.

you realize it's actually amazing because you can carry a bunch of shit around

Woah, 0 int niggers actually get to fight robots? Gonna fuck that lever next time I get that room. I already didn't touch the terminal in that robot compound on purpose just to fight 20 robots.

God I fucking hate fighting locusts its so fucking annoying holy fuck.

yes, implying just rushing through the gauntlet isn't the best strategy logically, implying sitting down to start a puzzle with no guidance is high int

Is the game worth playing for the scenario?

Just pump
>Guns
>crafting (mechanics, electronics, tailoring)
And then personally i like stealth and lockpicking/hacking because i play on oddity. Throw your left over points into dodge and evasion if you're going light armor and mobility which is more fun imo. You can put points into throwing but that's stretching yourself too thin, i'm using throwing weapons with 0 throwing just fine when i absolutely need an EMP or flashbang out, molotovs are boring but overpowered.
With perks go with
>Leading shot
>recklessness
>sprint
>6th shell
The rest is up to you.

good thing is good energy shield makes you unkillable, bad thing is it takes fucking forever and you'll probably run out of ammo

if you picked melee only sucks to be you

Yeah, the easiest way to do it is to stun them when they're low health, then run up next to them

Kill them on your next turn and use leftover AP to loot the corpse

I'm glad I had high stealth so I could just swooce right by most locust hives (did stealth in and TNT a few though)
They're horrible creatures

any news from the other provinces

cool
so which shotguns and shells to use

I killed tchort but where is the elavator to get out from dc

water locusts float on the tears collected from melee builds

Some say the high elves of the Summerset Isles have imposed an embargo an magical goods.

Yeah then you get into a fight and cant use your shield or your skills, great

I can't stand the sight of those creatures!

How strict is the oddity system later in the game? I'm getting worried that I'll be underleveled even though I've been checking every nook and cranny for any oddites. I'm like 12 and at the part where I have to find the Acid Hunters.

Go the lake area and go west past the beetles. It's in that area with the crawlers.

Combat Speed 1000% helps

Boring game

if pump shotgun vindicator frame with short barrel and foregrip

if combat shotgun tyranny with short barrel and shotgun tube extension

Is there a way to get Bolt Quiver early on in the game or is it based on luck for it to be in the inventories of merchants?

Should one max out perception with shotguns? I feel like leading shot reduces its importance a lot and you can get more value from something else. Like 10 Con or 10 Will, 6 Agi, 7 Int.

that's why you go classic so you don't have that existential angst

It starts getting tight at higher difficulties. Thoroughly scour Foundry for lots of points, get pig and burrower parts. I got to level 16 before messing with anything really hard.

The second part.

I did the dlc and every quest. Only got to 29 with 20ish exp out of 65. You should be 14+ before tackling the acid hunters. If you don't win initiative, they can fuck you up if you don't have acid resistance.

Guys, does Ambush work with shotguns or not? It would have good synergy with Fragmented Chaos. What the fuck is "single-target ranged weapon" supposed to mean? They're all single target.

shotguns dont rely much on perception to hit but perception still dictates weapon dmg its not that much though at max level 30 its only a 10% increase for each point

no it doesn't work for the same reason that aimed shot doesn't work on shotgun.

shotguns are not single-target ranged weapon

Fuck, guess I'll focus on exploring and doing side quests for a bit. I'm barely scraping by in a lot of fights as it is, I can take out 1-2 NPCs with my sniper rifle, but once they start getting hits on me, I get fucked.

5 STR, 6 DEX, 6 AGI, 10 CON, 9 PER, 3 WILL, 4 INT. Excess stat points can go to any stat you want.

Sixth Shell, Leading Shot and Fragmented Chaos are essential. Grenadier and Kneecap Shot are great. Get the usual CON Feats and Recklessness eventually.

Guns > 50 Throwing (if you don't want Three-Pointer you can keep it at 30) > Mechanics > Tailoring > Chemistry (get to MkV if you'll go with Three-Pointer, 69 if not) > 80 Biology for Bullheads but most importantly, Aegis and Focus Stims > 45 Psychokinesis > 55 Temporal > Hack/Lockpicking > excess stat points go to either Electronics (I personally have 25 for Repair Kits and backup Sniper crit scope) or Mercantile.

The plan is to always have a forward grip 5 STR shotty, this, alongside contraction with the +5 AP feat and Adrenaline, will allow you 90AP per turn. That allows you to use a medicine and shoot 4 times. You'll eventually get a unique shotty that is able to burst with just 5 STR, which you can use to better set up Sixth Shell on weaker enemies.

Not him but any good areas to look out for in Core City? I just finished Depot A recently on my first playthrough so I went to Camp Hathor for a second, then went and explored Foundry for oddities and I figure I may as well hit up CC now.

Whats the fastest way to a energy pistol?I want to play as a psientist.

>shotguns are not single-target ranged weapon
Whether it's a video game or real life, you point a shotgun directly at the middle of someone's body and not, like, between two people to try and wound both or something. Thanks though, I hope you're correct.
Milton, probably.

How do you guys never get SGS shit -> camp hathor -> Rail Crossing -> early foundry/core city -> Foundry ending -> Core city

You can get like 2 Oddity XP levels just by superficially exploring Foundry and Core City and doing a few trivial sidequests and dealing with a few mooks.

Tanner did nothing wrong.

>10 CON, 9 PER, 4 INT
That's dumb.

Barrels, drop zone areas, pipe in front of hardcore bar that has no marker. A side room on the docks has 3 xp. Pickpocket major faction members for 9-12. Lots of good xp lying around. Funny enough muggers who try to gank you often have 1xp on them. Watch out for gangster npcs.

so azif has nothing to say after doing the dc shit?

go explore other areas, it looks like you are just rushing the main quest, you should be 15+ for core city, doing camp hathor, rail crossing and foundry first will get you there no problem

this is integrated in the first visit to the places obviously

you clear the harder parts for the oddity like core city bandits on your second time you really play these zones

What
I never said I was completing quests, only exploring.

>Thick Skull
>Fragmented Chaos
>No crafting malus

You reach that baseline at level 12 too, so the build is somewhat complete at that point, which allows you to branch out.

According to Six he is a big bad. But who knows, he might have just fucked Six's wife or something.

Is there any reason at all to go all 3/3/3/3/3.

Thick Skull is a meme when you can pop a pill and get a better effect, and only losers care about a (minor) skill penalty that goes away with a different pill.

nvm me I am retarded and replied to the wrong dude

I don't trust those Oculus ding dongs and especially not Six

Bullheads have a cooldown and having both Thick Skull and Bullheads is much better anyways since you can't just stack Bullheads like you can Adrenaline.

Kill things faster or wear a helmet.

>Dude just steal the shield emitters lol
Lmao this sucks kill me pete. Seriously i can;t
>Stealth
>Do what you're suppose to do (use the badge)
>kill them
It's fucking impossible what the absolute fuck am i suppose to do against 3 heavy gunner tin cans, a riot guy and a dude with a big pass energy shield and plasma pistol? There are too many people to stealth through it and it's fucked how the whole base gets alerted when i just step into the cargo pod that i need to get into, which is guarded 24/7. FUCK i've been stuck on this for two hours. Help

>Non-argument
>Missing out on crit goggles
Ok.

>he doesn't even have to face a Dreadnought in the warehouse
Only kids play on easy mode.

High CON means more room for mistakes. Insisting on 10 CON on anything but a heavy armor fun build is a sign that you make a ton of mistakes that could be avoided by simply playing better.
But I don't expect much from someone that leaves stats at 4.

>he doesn't spam limited wish to reduce his medicine cooldowns

10 CON is used in plenty of Dodge/Evasion builds because getting caught in a Stun spells death. 10 CON also allows you to play the game without spamming quicksave every 5 steps or every time a crossbownigger catches you with a Shock Bolt.

On a similar note, it says you can cancel adrenaline fatigue by using another adrenaline. But it has a 12 turn cooldown. Dafuq?

Hard mode is for cuck masochists who love getting rammed in the ass over and over.

mmm yes

some juice positions
light house on expedition island
in core city, near hardcore bar, up from the doctors room is a ladder connected room

>buy the devastartor, literally a swimming tank
>enemies still eat through my HP like through a paper bag
>all that fucking acid and bio damage from the swimming faggot serpants
What's even the point?
May aswell just get a torpedo instead.

Look at the stats.

the main argument against thick skull is that instead of being stunned and receiving second wind after the stun you will be dazed instead for every turn that you receive a stun

>50% cover
>50% chance to get hit with only your body armor to protect you on the "tank" jet ski
Jet skis are RNG death traps, no exception.

I'm stuck in the Gauntlet

I've collected all the keys and I'm on the final challenge, but I just can't move fast enough to the end to pull the lever, even using all the side doors to skip the optional fights. Did I dun goof'd somehow?

nibba show me which cargopod you are talking about are you trying to get that cargopod with the lone crate?

Dilation counteracts the effects of Daze, and I don't think I can recall a single time I would've preferred to be Stunned rather than Dazed.

Granted, I don't really enjoy Tin Can builds.

Just reload, you were too slow

Yeah that's what I experienced.
I guess it was useful for breaking through the natives shore defense line but otherwise a huge waste of money.
Also it seems like you can't really get better at hitting shit from it unless you join the pirates.

I don't think it's physically possible to go faster than I already am

That seems strange. You can usually do two optional fights (provided you finish them in one or two turns). Side doors let you skip all but one right?

Reload at the start of gauntlet user

Does the whole time in the gauntlet count? I thought only the last portion really mattered.

No the other runners are just chilling, waiting for you to find all the keys haha

I think I will have to reload to before the Gauntlet, otherwise I'll just be stuck forever, but I can't be bothered to do it all again.

I'm not sure, but I collected a key on every lever. As soon as I enter the final floorl, I start running through every side door and I get to about where the red circle is, and that's when the other contestant pulls the lever.

There are only three Godmen left and they're all men so I doubt that.

How the fuck do I deal with mines?

Is quick pockets a good feat to take on a crossbow/trapper build?

Don't step on them.

Maybe the only build worth taking it on.

Although I think Rahm-Umbra is out to get him for a good reason, I can't help but to feel he ain't so much a saint himself.

on my first playthrough I thought core city was the intended place to go, also merchants, I ended up finishing the arena at level 12

also its logical to think more things to do at core city

You can do it entirely without stealth.
You'll notice the guards and workers patrol the area in a certain pattern. It took me 9001 F9s but if you play it safe and wait an entire patrol circle between opening the cargo bay, entering+stealing the shields and exiting doing each one of those steps when the guards are as far away as possible they won't aggro.

stealth + knife in the pirate base is some metal gear kind of shit

loving it

i literally rush the foundry beast on most characters so i have access to high quality metal early

What's the deal with the Protectorate platforms in the middle of the sea? Are they involved with any quests or are they just there for reasons? I kinda wanna explore them, but I also don't want to die.

They're no witness areas so you can kill everyone and take their shit even if you're Protectorate

>Nothin' Personal, Kid's you if you annoy him
>has already killed another Occulite just because they asked a question or two
>throws an autistic fit if you're reasonably pissed with his vagueness
>says you attacked him when he attacked you if you resist his piss shit cybernetic psionics
>condones the unsanctioned destruction the Faceless cause in their search for the Cube
>doesn't let you keep the cube and gives it to the tunnel coon nigga Faceless even though you did literally all the fucking work while they stood back, killed innocents, and wiped out a group of good albeit misled people
Yeah, no shit. Just fucking wish Stygg would let you kill him. I don't care if he's some kind of extra-dimensional being, I want to merc his ass. You can already do the same to Magnar, why can't you a wannabe god? After that, you should still get to choose to go to North Underrai to kill Tanner and ensure the "Godmen" can't threaten anyone with their autism ever again.

There's nothing there but loot though, right?

Yep
There's a jet ski you can steal but its not really worth it since they have a psychic knowledge that its stolen and will turn hostile

Is it true you'll never be allowed into the pirate bases unless you join them?

I'm sure all the godmen are just a tad autistic. It's that tard strength, ya know?

nobody needs to allow you if you kill them all!

But what if I just wanna trade and stuff with them

Tanner seems to be the least judging by how he can actually work alongside humans and even like some (he is actually kind of fond of Gorsky and is a bit shocked when you tell him he bit it)

I'd totally cut people in half for little reason if I was in a similar position.

there's some oddities, and protectorate goons always carry decent quality gear on them
