It's a python script, the guy who made it just leaves a laptop running in the corner of his apartment and makes some free money.

Maybe some do depending on which game, but as a group no because Yea Forums doesn't like Twitch. To be honest the only kino runs are Red, Crystal, Fire Red, and HeartGold. First two had soul and the randomizers fit the remakes well. But Emerald was boring, Platnium sucked, Black was such a shitshow the only evolved pokemon was caught evolve well Druddigon carried hard, and BlazeBlack 2 became way too safe necause of Black. Everything after no one gave a shit about since it lost all novelty by then.

They've made some good romhacks though, Anniversary Crystal is probably my go to version of any GBC Gen 2 Pokemon game, and the prologue is a decent addition to freshen things up

Don't forget the rival wasn't seen or mentioned since the S.S. Anne sunk, she was presumed dead for the entirety of the run
