How do I fix this, bros...?
Playing game on PC
Did you try not being a retarded broposter?
cut the internet while you play video games.
limit the time you spend on your computer in general
Sorry, user... I'm just looking for help.
by being a consolechad and actually appreciating games.
thanks doc
disable the tab button
Thanks doc
thanks, doc
Play a game that can actually hold your attention. Perhaps even a game that forces you to pay attention.
Pic somewhat related: you are not going to be able to tab out of Marisa's games so easily.
That doesn't help, I look at my phone every loading screen and end up looking on my phone for more than 10 minutes.
It's a sign of not enjoying the game you're currently playing, drop it and try something else.
If it persists after trying various different types of games (don't stick to the same style/genre), then quit video games and find something else to do. If there's nothing you want to do, then kill yourself.
play a game that crashes when you alt tab
I might also suggest that he tries playing games with friends before he decides to quit video games altogether. Doing something together with someone you like can make almost anything enjoyable, and this could be the seed to genuinely enjoying game again.
>You will never be hypnotized and feminized
it hurts
It's because your brain is too used to over-stimulation.
Try out meditation, it helps your mind get used to not being stimulated all the time. I recommend the app HeadSpace.
Also if there are certain things on your phone that you feel compulsion to look out, delete or block those
his eyes are the spinning meme. never noticed that.
How are these still a thing?
idk they are
Not like old games get updated most of the time, so they're not going away. If anything it probably used to work fine but newer windows broke their alt-tabbing
>>keep alt tabbing like a retard
The problem is we're all human and we have natural limitations to our attention spans. We might talk about how much we desire freedom and choice, but the reality is we only want a handful of choices, and our freedoms are better restricted to more constructive options. If everyone could we would all be happy sitting on our asses eating chips all day watching super hero movies. We really want limitations, we want focus and to be pushed.
Your first step is to stop playing PC games. Realize they are nothing special and the few "good" ones aren't as good as whatever is distracting you to alt-tab. Next up, invest in a console. I recommend a classic one like a PS1, PS2, Saturn, Genesis, Xbox, or Wii. These have great, established libraries, tons of ways to conveniently back up load, and are both project and pay off in itself. Having this initial investment will push you to spend more time with it.
Next, cut of outside influence. Have a set up for games, a spot you can sit, relax and be one with your tube TV and console. Play a game, any game. You'll be surprised at how pushed you'll feel to play just that one game and complete it. With no videos playing in the background, all you have is the graphics, music and controls, you'll be happy again.
This goes for anyone who considers themselves depressed. I know a lot of you PC gamers have this problem, but propaganda has pushed you away from looking at the real problem, the keyboard and mouse in front of you.
Even some new games get fucked by alt tabbing though, like Monster Hunter World will just kick you out of the online it forces on you.
get a 2nd and/or 3rd monitor.
have the other browser tabs, facebook, youtube etc open on the other screens
27inch 1080p monitors have been like $100 each for a while now.
>he doesn't play consoles on a PC monitor where he can just switch input to "alt-tab" to his PC
well, I used to have 2 screens for that, but it broke and I never replaced it
>how do i fix this
You ain't really enjoying what you are playing if you keep quitting it constantly, reconsider how you are wasting your time. Either change another game or take a break on vidya in general.
9-5 office drone coders with no passion, with angry bosses forcing impossible deadlines on them, meaning they have to release buggy unfinished code.
>giving into distractions
weakness embodied
I have this problem, went to get diagnosed recently and apparently I have ADD
Time for a checkup user
>open game
>alt-tab out of it immediately
>go back to browsing Yea Forums
>game sits launched on the background for hours
stop playing boring games that require no effort
