I promise that I haven't seen it at all the past few months. You can risk the 20 minutes involved in one game, can't you? Not everyone agrees on those rules though. Individual players will invoke them for logical purposes (e.g. why would you nein your inv lib as president unless you strongly believe that the other party is Hitler or it's veto zone) but no one gets kicked out if you don't play meta.
