Who would win?
Young Kratos
the fans xD
Young Kratos is faster and more agile, old Kratos has way more muscle mass, looks vastly stronger, and unlike young Kratos looks like he won't be losing the weapons that aren't the blades every new game so he has two weapons and young Kratos only one. I don't know, I guess it depends on young Kratos' weapons, if he can use the Blade of Olympus he stomps, if he has no OP gear I think old Kratos could win
I know almost nothing about the series, but I think old Kratos would take it? IDK how the Leviathan Axe compares to the Blades of Chaos, but I'd imagine the Blades are the stronger of the two (even though old Kratos still has them, iirc, just stored away).
>young kartos
>*kills brutally every god*
>old kartos
>*sips soilent*
Old Kratos is more experienced, so I pick him.
Old Kratos still uses the blades quite masterfully. I think he's slowed down a bit but it probably doesn't matter here.
Old kratos has the power of a million snoyggers backing him
Old Kratos would try to reason at first while Young Kratos slits his throat during that small amount of time where he has his guard off.
gow3 kratos is op as fuck compared old man kratos
Dad Kratos because of experience.
Young, canonically is stronger.
Old Kratos has power of Zues after killing him.
GoW 3 Kratos is stronger because he sapped all his strength out with the Blade of Olympus at the end game. He's weaker after that point and 4 Kratos doesn't have any comparable strength feats.
They are the same person and everything young Kratos has done can be equally attributed to old Kratos.
Since he is a god he doesn't have to worry about ageing so the usual shit of "old Kratos is weaker" doesn't apply since there isn't any reason he would be weaker.
see
>Since he is a god he doesn't have to worry about ageing
Kratos is a Demigod and clearly ages you stupid fucker.
Old Kratos has power of killing gods without help from outside.
Ok? That doesn't change anything. Kratos in 3 before the end of the game is stronger than 4.
Wasn't it stated or implied that GOW4 Kratos isn't as strong as he used to be?
why do you all call him Old Kratos?
does that refer to his in-game age (he's the older one)?
or does that refer to the old, previous Kratos of older games?
Kratos in 3 is a demigod. Kratos in 4 full god of war destroyer of world. But he will die because of spoiler on the wall. And Loki will became a new destroyer of worlds.
The feats you do in GoW 2 and 3 come off as muh greater than anything you really do in God of Four (to the point where the final fight with you DBZing against fuckface on the living mountain seems out of place) but all those games really have completely random "power levels" where one minute Kratos is having a hard time pushing a stone and the second he's free falling ten thousand feet and using his chains to force a colossus the size of a city into punching itself.
For the sake of story shit Dad Kratos beats his hot headed old self. Dad of War actually has something worth fighting for and protecting as opposed to young Kratos (calling him young Kratos is still funny as shit given he's like what at the very least late 30s if not 40s in those games?) who is just out for revenge. Kratos beats the ever loving fuck out of Zeus after the Pandora stuff so if you want to ignore narrative and just focus on an obscure power level wankery then Kratos when there is a kid directly in front of him to protect/avenge>Kratos still fueled on MUH FAMILY.
>Kratos in 4 full god of war destroyer of world
No, no he's not. He's the same as in 3 and is clearly older than his last depiction.
I think Kratos in 4 can 1vs1 with Tor and Odin.
>Young Kratos
>Slaughters an entire pantheon of Greek Gods, including all of the Titans, comes back from the dead multiple times and beats his father to death with his bare hands
>Nu Kratos
>Takes his wife's son to the pride parade downtown
At their peak it's hard to say. They both have some broken shit. Sure young Kratos can jump but old Kratos has an accessory that can freeze time at will (without needing magical statues).
>No double jump and wings.
Kratos in 4 got his as kicked by Bald'r and you think he can beat Odin or Thor?
Depends on the plot. I think Loki will be fight with them.
>he sapped all his strength out with the Blade of Olympus
He only lost the Hope bullshit power, he still has godhood after absorbing Hades' soul, hence the whole GoD4 plot with Atreus. He never knew how to use that power until the end so it's irrelevant
Anyone who played lnow that younger kratos wins no contest. In fact if young kratos fought baldur, he wouldve shoved his foot so far up his ass that his mother wouldve begged him to stop amd the game would've ended there.
>with this nectar of gods I shall surely best my old self
GoD 4 Kratos is a full god, it's undeniable when you look at Atreus. In the norse myth the frost giants aren't exactly gods but don't affect godhood, so the offspring of a god and a giant makes another god, not a demigod (see Thor himself, son of a god and a giantess), that means Atreus can still have some divine in him since Fey didn't made him less godly and his father was at the very least a demigod, but Kratos WASN'T aware of Fey's status, he thought she was just a human and he still thought Atreus was a divine being so he can't be a demigod, otherwise he would think his son is just a mortal since the offspring of a demigod and a human makes just another human. Both Kratos and Atreus are full gods
You talk like Baldur is nothing when he is high tier on the norse totem pole and was smacking around the World Serpent. He was primarily an issue for Kratos because he could not be killed due to Freya's magic, otherwise he would have been dead at the start of the game.
Young Kratos, Old has experience but is too rusty to keep up with his young self.
Though Old Kratos is getting a lot of undeserved shit.
On the other hand, Old Kratos knows all the tricks his younger self could use and could easily catch him unawares with his own new weapons.
