It didn't ruin SA and those elements weren't as poorly put in, in later GTAs as it did in SA, i.e. there aren't missions where you can't do something because your level is too low and you have to spend time ranking up, like with that dumb swimming shit in SA.

Also, VC is severely overrated.

There's nothing wrong with emptiness. It's nice to explore a comfy world. How well designed a world is trumps whether or not it has content. SA is well designed. GTA V isn't shit for being "empty", it's shit because the map was designed by a fucking retard.

More eneterable buildings, more customizable characters for single player and online, relax on futuristic shit, improve on rdr2’s hand to hand combat, make shooting weapons more fun, a couple more things that I can’t name off the top of my head

I hope not. Running a drug cartel requires some serious logistics and decision making that would cut into the open world aspect of the series and would make the SA/V babies shit their pants. Better to let the player play as a low to high level drug deal/trafficker.

I like the idea of the timeline and multiple cities. It would be good ìf you started as a teen and had to choose a gang. Then grew up in the gang and worked your way up. I hope they tone down the wacky humour and tryhard crazy characters. Property buying and character customization. Rampages. Police and ambulance missions. Bring back some of the stuff that made GTA fun
