You can't do it after the timeskip, I'm pretty sure the deadline is 2/22. You don't need warp, just mobility and archers. Put Shamir on the defense team and Catherine on the backdoor team. The monsters don't do that much damage, so bait them early. The two knights in the forest can mostly handle themselves, just send a flier to support them.

I think the difference is that Claude probably wouldn't be willing to cross the lines Edelgard did and his method for unifying Fodlan and the rest of the world is through fostering understanding and unity. Consider that in everyone of his endings he's perfectly fine leaving fodlan to Byleth, and potentially the alliance to Lorenz, to go back to Alymra and pull off his reforms there and improve their relations with Fodlan.

I always do both imho, because Nosferatu is heavy as hell and has relatively bad offensive stats, even a D in Reason is good because the basic Fire/Wind is better than Nosferatu at killing shit. I can't help but feel that this game was a lot of wasted potential especially in the first part given how little the students in different houses interact with. Some of the best moments in this game is making friends like Sylvain and Felix fight and having some interhouse friendships would've allowed for more of those moments to happen.

Also is hardcore difficulty worth it on NG+? I've only had a couple instances where I completely banked on %Avoid in order to squeeze through a turn, but having 13 charges of Divine Pulse otherwise made the game trivially easy.

I feel like Edelgard outlawing the church in Empire territory and then having the church declare war (by roping in the Kingdom) in retaliation would have been a better look for Edelgard. I liked her and Hubert, but damn is BE path really hokey to me.
