Actually, I just wanted to know how bad it was. I'll Been trying to find a game to play with my friends but all mmorpg I have seen are lifeless "shells".

Then you won't like Dauntless. It has to be one of the most empty husk of a game I've ever played. Seriously, save up and get monster hunter on steam.

It's not bad, it's just not good. Plat Toukiden or god eater, instead.

Dauntless is harder, but it's mostly due to shitty hitboxes.

My problem with GE3 is that they keep adding new mechanics, then throwing them out in the next game to add entirely different gimmicks. Pisses me off.

As someone whose first monster hunter game was Tri and as someone who played since beta, it's shit.
Don't get me wrong the game has its moments barely, it sorta scratches the monster hunter itch.
It's gotten better since the 1 year has passed, at a snails fucking pace.
They wait til the next patch to fix fucking bugs that are almost game breaking barely any hot fixes.
You'll often find yourself exploiting the game mechanics to enjoy yourself more.
Expect nothing be disappointed or enjoy it enough to where you have to go through 5 stages of grief.

Next time you try to critique a game, stop an think, "if someone was reading it out of context, would they know what game I'm talking about?" if not, your post is pointless. You whole post could have been "game bad" and I would have gotten the same thing out of it.

MHW is great and the best MH game to begin with. There are a few people on Yea Forums that hate it with a passion because it's the first MH in a long time to not be released on Nintendo.

I played this for a couple hours without playing any MH games before. Was okay but got old and grindy very quickly. Max 4 person hunting groups, harder to find matches the further on you get, shitty weapons. Made me want to get real monster hunter

That's pretty much all it's good for. A taste to see if you like the genre, before putting down some actual dosh on a game that isn't crap.
