No mans sky

Are you fags saying this shit is good now?

No

Why? Normies like it

die shill

A load of people like it, and Yea Forums cant handle that.

I asked you a question retard.

Getting into the meat of the game is slow and tedious which is unfortunate because I’m sure I’d like it.

wagie space simulator game

There is one retard spamming falseflag threads about this game so people will start hating it
It's still shit

can you fight giant space battles like sean promised? That is the most important point for me

It's the best VR game.

Yes. Best space game I’ve ever played and honestly a 10/10 after the most recent update.

So in relation to it's original self, it's a fucking amazing game.
However, no pretext, if you should buy it? Nah, it's just another open world survival busy work game with limited base building. If you want to go on an adventure while being able to build a castle for yourself or some shit, play Atlas or Conan or some shit. No Man's Sky is like these trending survival open world games but with the boring shit from Elite Dangerous. I don't know who the fuck serves as an audience for this shit.

>I don't know who the fuck serves as an audience for this shit.
I am. I enjoy playing and defending shit games. My favourite souls game is 2. I've also put 130 hours into NMS.
Don't @ me.

OP here. It is for 20 euros in my country right now, that is why I am asking

I'll @ you all I want. DaS 2 is great, DaS 3 is shit and NMS is fucking boring.

Just don't do it man.

its better, but not good

Thats been a thing for about 2 years now iirc.
But the space combats' poopy. I wouldnt buy the game for that.

What's the point of building a base if you'll just leave it for another planet? Or can you somehow teleport back and forth between bases?

I bought it at Gamestop for 10 bucks the other day, specifically to see what this hype is all about and...maybe? Maybe it's good now?

It's certainly *better*. It's definitely in the top three VR games I've ever played (which is a low bar, just to be clear)

I will say yes, it is good IF, AND ONLY IF
>You can get it for less than $20
>You can play it in VR, with motion tracking.

Outside of those peramiters, it's a decent 6/10. The atmosphere, scale, and interactivity do a lot of the heavy lifting, as far as enjoyment is concerned.
But I *am* enjoying it a HELL of a lot more than I did back in 2016, When it first came out and I rage quit inside two hours. So hey, progress.

You can freely teleport between all of your bases, and your few most recent space stations.

If you're looking for a Space Han Solo adventure, NMS won't be your game.
If you're looking for a badass space combat game, NMS won't be your game.

No Man's Sky is *generic survival sandbox game* but you can switch from one generic, color coded biome to another by flying your basic-bitch space ship with it's basic bitch features and basic-bitch Toys R' Us controls to a different planet. The environment looks like what you'd expect in Steam Early Access games in this genre and the spaceship interiors and characters in the game have a discount PIXAR vibe to them. Just don't buy this there's sooooooo many other video games in the world user, you have better ways to spend your $20, I promise.

never played nms. why was it bad in the first place?

You can build a teleporter and go back at any time. You use your base to house tech NPCs with their own quest lines that give you upgrades. I also use mine for storage and to farm mats to craft high end shit.

So it is like poor mans scam citizen, but it is actually in a playable state?

Peter Molyneaux Syndrome
Dev promises everything, delivers 5%.
Backed by Sony money, so it was extra scandalous.

The worst thing about this game is the non stop tutorial prompts that it keeps spamming your hud with nonstop. I cant believe the dumbfucks still haven't fixed that in 3 years.
The screen is filled with so much other garbage and visual noise too you can barely appreciate the visuals of the game.

It was largly rushed and unfinished at launch, and combined with Sean Murray sperging out and getting a little to excited with planned features, he managed to talk about alot of the features that we have now that didnt make it into launch. So alot of people felt betrayed.

I tried the game again for the first time in 3 years. Honestly it isn't that bad now. I had 0 expectations so how the game turn out was a surprise to me.

There are still problems tho. Like the tutorial takes 10 hours to complete. Space combat kinda sucks ass. The enemy AI is very simplistic and some of the blueprints and goods to upgrade your shit is really hard to find. A little more variety in the planets would have been good too. But if you can live with these its an okay time sink for the gameless months.

For the NMS pros. How do i make easy dosh so i can afford one these 20+million ships?

hows this compare to astroneer?

Get yourself a multitool with a few more slots than the default. Load it up with Scanner Modules (preferably A and S class).
Get 20-100k+ Units per scan of an animal or plant.
You'll have to really grind for the initial cost of your next multitool, but theres a variety of ways to do this, so.

It's more broken then it was on release if you can believe it

2 is a great game, the hate for it is a meme

you pretty much answered your own question

Everyone are screaming that it's good now but I've played it on and off since release and I don't even know what the fuck they've changed, it plays pretty much exactly the same, planets are just same shit over and over

>me following a questline
>8hrs or so invested so far
>had to open containers on a crashed big ass ship to continue said quest
>need to get some mineral to open it
>go back to base on another system to grab some
>come back to planet and quest marker dissapeared
Fucking good loock trying to find that shit on a giant planet with 24/7 acid rains

should I get it on gray market? it looks pretty good after the last update
