Yeah, I'm aware of what happened. I think it's scummy as shit what they did, and I agree that people should get angry at first, but engaging the devs in their attempt at an apology because "I once bought X from the store and now I'm not happy, please acknowledge me" is also dumb. If you decided to monetarily invest in something optional in a game that was good at first and then changed to your dislike, you should have known that paying for anything at all already meant you were assuming a risk. If you didn't pay for anything and just played the game by taking advantage of it being F2P, then you have no stakes in it anyway, leave it to die and play something else (you may be sad that the game may have been good and you have to leave it, but outside of that you shouldn't really look behind you). The only situation in which this amount of sperging makes sense is when the game wasn't F2P, so it asked for money up-front, and it still ended up implementing shitty monetization tactics.
