any of you guys playing this right now? i played it for an hour and it feels decent.

looks like some nasty jank 2bqhonest
I wonder why they've decided to adverize it as a souls-like when it's a mix of dungeon crawler and TPS with sane gear progression and tons of secrets.
The biggest pro of the game is how fluid the entire combat system is and how good the guns feel.
Bloodborne with more guns and less melee
It plays nothing like bloodborne
Explain the game to me. It looks decent but I've barely seen any variety. Also is it free.
Marketers pls go
dude I'm on the line with this one, should I buy it ??
no
I bought it, took me 16 hours to finish. For the pricetag it was all right nothing GOTY material but kept me entertained.
Wish they focused more on the dungeon crawling since the story is pretty garbage lol
Would like to play but i got mouse problems.
There´s no free camera for me, mouse works everywhere else ingame but no camera so it´s keyboard turning and no thank you !
This game gets a lot better after the first area. First area feels like a generic post-apocalyptic game with a sorta interesting enemy. After that,t he worlds are actually interesting and cool.
Who is the final boss? Nightmare i see so many streamfags getting fucked by?
Procedurally generated dungeon crawl, combat is third person shooter based. Equipment progression is souls based, you craft weapons and weapon mods, basically spells, from boss drops, upgrade system is also the same.
The main quest is static but bosses, NPCs you meet and events are randomly generated from a small pool, for example there are two different first bosses, so not everyone gets the same weapons, equipment or traits.
Weapons feel pretty good and there's a decent variety, enemy design is nice.
Boss fights are generally horrible because almost all of them spam adds like there's no tomorrow.
Ammo conservation is somewhat important.
other than the first boss constantly spawning enemies out of sight that instantly kill you if they touch you, it's pretty fun
Yep, streamfags suck dicks. You just need to strafe around, kill adds on portal 2 times and kill it
imagine being a fucking retarded fag and thinking this trash is decent
looks like a shitheap indie 3d clunker
If you have friends to play with, yes. If you like Gears of War and want a game that feels like that mixed with babby mode Dark Souls, yes. If you hate diablo, no.
Sounded great until I saw it was a randomly generated co op shooter which is basically saying "we have absolutely no confidence in our game idea on it's own".
Making an actual fucking world and populate it with actual people and meaningful content. Or just dont make anything at all.
I actually liked it surprisingly, the biggest and most damning issue the game has though, the issue that will destroy this game and make sure that it is forgotten as quickly as it released though; its a looter shooter with no grind, as much as I appreciate a game like this WITHOUT grind, I have finished the game already, I am done with it. There is nothing else for me to do or work towards because there is nothing to grind and work towards achieving.
>fight the random event bosses
Why, theres no reason to other than achievements, I dont care if there is 30+ differnet drop in bosses I have no reason at all to fight them. If it was a bit cheaper I would be singing praise for it, but it just feels so goddamn empty of content.
Id love to see this formula of "pick a theme for a dungeon and drop in" done with a melee focused game like Souls games or Dragons Dogma, where different "builds or classes feel distinct. There is alarmingly little straight up dungeon crawlers out there, and though this was pretty good it lacks any kind of longevity.
>copy paste souls
>add guns
>the game is complete ass
Another proof that west cannot into gameplay.
Holy fucking marketing.
Imagine being a poorfag who can't afford a game and is venting his rage on chinese girls forum.
>he thinks its only the first boss
I've died more to adds pelleting me than the actual boss.
bloodborne has a well realized world that really puts you into a place, with the atmosphere and character of art design
this is some dull assets thrown together as cheaply as possible
>enemies with healthbars in a shooter
please stop it
Are you upset?
>fluid
mandatory ADS to shoot is absolutely retarded and really ruins said "fluid" combat
Basically every single bossfight is the same: shoot boss, kill adds to get back ammo because the boss is a sponge, repeat.
Mechanically the bosses are some of the worst aspects of the game.
after 3 hours uninstalled, game is so boring
Watched my bro play, looks pretty damn fun, but how long is it? How is customizations? Character editing? Playstyles? Worth $40?
Oh and replay value?
misquote?
i dont even like souls games just stating a fact
16 hours, replay not much, you can increase difficult and thats it
where the fucking fuck is the assault rifle
>replay not much
they said you can make different choices which could influence things such as what bosses you encounter
that plus procedurally generated maps sounds like it's worth 2 playthroughs
I like it so far but it should be a bit cheaper. Also if you try it play on anything but normal difficulty.
Beat it, took me about 16 hours.
Little jank here and there but HOLY BALLS does the last boss have a lot of bugs right now. I ran into at least 3 replicateable ones. When I killed him, the fight just kept going until I died. I got the rewards though.
it's already cracked though
your argument is invalid, anybody can try it
its indieshit that wishes it was AAA shit. the worst of both worlds.
I'll download it because there's no fucking games to play
bloodborne but bad
Surprisingly good. Played it with a friend for about 5 hours straight yesterday and I can't wait to play some more tomorrow night.
Atmosphere is another level.
>decent game comes out
>anyone who supports it is automatically a shill
why does this always happen?
>it's done by Darksiders 3 developers
>tfw you realize it's just them trying out the ideas for a Strife's game
Is this the latest looter shooter
more like they are trying out the combined idea for 4&5, no doubt we're going to get a 5th one with co-op elements similar to this.
Because kids think that hating on things is cool.
This. That feel when The Tower reveals itself to you.
It gets better. it's actually really quite good, just the start is very slow and boring. By the time you beat the first boss it's picking up though. The sparse sound design, which I recognize as an homage to Diablo, doesn't help it out early on either as it makes the first regions feel monotonous. It uses music and foley too sparsely.
It advertises itself as this but it's not, not really. It feels more akin to a mixture of Diablo, Hellgate London, and Darksouls. Gear and Weapons are semi-rare, you might find one or two pieces in a dungeon. Chests usually only have currency or upgrade mats.
>Customization
So far outfits are mostly fashion (PS: ex cultist coat is best). The games zones are procedurally generated, and bosses have a random seed that gives them a special attribute. These things can be changed by "rerolling" the world.
As for choices that make a diff, I'm 90% sure if I had survived the intro zone without dying like a bitch, a certain NPC would still be alive. There are also points where your choices do indeed choose what bosses you fight/rewards you get.
Overall, for 40 dollars i'm quite pleased and once I finish it i'll probably do some shill review (implying anyone reads steam reviews).
I had fun fighting Singe
you can turn off healthbars, damage numbers, and aim-snap. Do that and play on a gamepad, makes it a lot more fun.
I hope they continue to support it because I think the game could be made a lot better with things that are easy to update - like gear being more common earlier on, music stings, adjusting the ratio of character chatter
It makes me think of Immortal Unchained but with way too many bullet sponge bosses.
devs can't even do dark souls clones
>Ammo conservation is somewhat important.
nope you can just stock up on ammo boxes for dirt cheap
all the bosses spam adds in this game
>Here son I got you that remnant game you've been asking for!
T-thanks dad.
been bashing my head against the wall on the wolf dungeon chimes (the ones without the pan flutist) all morning
fucking hell
game's fun though, I don't regret burning 40bux on it
if they'd tried to sell it at full AAA price everyone would have been baying for their blood
there are bosses without adds and they are legitimately difficult because of it - adds usually give you ammo
winchester with crit stacking is the best weapon
>random gen'd quest
>have to protect two thots
>one thot dies
>don't get a key to get loot
RREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
STOP PUTTING ESCORT QUESTS IN YOUR GAME REEEE
>no hipfire
I'm going to refund this piece of shit because of this.
you can fire as soon as they start bringing up the gun, tap aim then tap fire
My backlog is way too big please don't make me buy this game. I'm so tempted.
>Poorfag
>Game is already cracked
You're seriously not this retarded are you?
can my semi-potato run it?
Pirating a game doesn't make you rich, kid
lmao
is this like hellgate london where it's modern shit vs demons and fantasy shit?
I like it a lot. Monster design is really well done, and the gunplay is solid.
It's a firm 7.5 game, not too bad, not great. Perfect way to burn some time either solo or co-op
i'm running it on ultra with a 970 and an i7
Yes but you get advanced weapons later
>Tree boss gives you a shitty single-shot shotgun with a weak grenade
>The other boss you can get is an awesome dragon that gives a fire smg with a flamethrower mod
Feelin' bad for treecucks desu
>chinese game
>good
LMAO
women are all ugly and feminist/sjw "strong" so I dropped it
It's a shit typewriter, don't even bother. The OP shit is on the swamp planet.
>not the forest planet
desert has the beam rifle though, and that shit is insane
I'll grant you the pistol from swamp planet is OP as fuck
pretty sure I got this from the conditional drop on treeman
dragon weapon is a sword if you cut off its tail
Just got it and put 4 hours on it last night. Shit was pretty fucking fun, I was a bit turned off at first and had been looking for something to play because there isn't shit out right now.
Which is exactly my point dipshit
Final boss is honestly the worst boss i've ever fought. It's so fucking boring of just standing there and going left sometimes while you wait. Jfc I want my money and time back
So you just played an entire game and had no fun at any point? Or are you an entitled child who is upset the ending wasn't what you wanted.
>Bosses that spam adds
>Enemy health bars disappear if you shoot and stop aiming to move, making you think they're dead when they aren't
>Enemies don't drop anything meaningful, so they're almost always a waste of time
>>Enemies don't drop anything meaningful, so they're almost always a waste of time
I actually like how enemies don't drop equipment. It rewards exploration instead of mindless grind, making you find bosses and merchants not immediately visible along the "main path".
The butterfly faggots were far worse.
just got the beam rifle, niceu-dess
I cant stress this enough, do NOT play it on normal, it is pissbaby difficult, even for first playthrough I regret not starting hard first.
this is bait
>sponge enemies
Ill bite, how is it bait.
enemies literally need to be shot 100+ times each with heavy hitter guns to die
every single one
I just finished this game. Not gonna spoil anything.
Overall the game gets a 7/10 from me. The upgrade system for gear is well designed, the guns have different purposes ( boss killing, smaller mob killing) you cant rush your way trough the game with only 1 gun. You need to use different weapons for different bosses. Story is kinda MEH (5/10), the gameplay is decent. Some bosses have complete bullshit mechanics that just fuck you in the ass till you figure them out. World design is super good. Enemy mob design is great. Very fun to play with a friend. Campaign has a lot of replay value, areas are randomly generated for each player, many secrets and hidden bosses areas. If you are into dungeon crawling and upgrading this is a game for you.
Worth 20-25 Europoors probably. Definetly not 40
I knew you would say that. The difficulty increases the damage they do as well as enemy spawns user, it doesnt just ramp up their health. You didnt try it, did you...
so its still shit?
Normal
Turn off Aim Snap
Turn off Health bars
Turn off Damage #'s
Play with a gamepad
congrats the game has a proper difficulty
>damage sponges
What weapon are you using? Shotgun instant kills most things and rifles can one shot scrub enemies consistently. Large enemies take more shots but that the point, theyre bosses, on normal the game is far too easy, how many people have you seen saying they have finished it already and its not even released in retail yet.
Not sure about the story, because I didn't finish it yet, but setting is making my dick hard. You're basically a stalker who deals with extradimensional amzingly designed threats, also that shit with dreamers. I'd say it's worth its price.
>Turn off Damage #'s
What?
>Perfect World
Not sure how I feel about this, but what kind of game is this? Watched the trailer, and it has cool monsters, but what's the game even?
the game connects to your twitter and posts your damage in a hashtag
it's a good concept of a game and fun to play but they really blew it with longevity
It is not really procedually generated, after two playthroughs you will have seen every boss and hav every item
There is no endgame, nothing to work towards
I like the lore of the game but if they went with more grind, randomized gear similar to borderlands and actually procedurally generated levels this would have been much better.
As it is now, you are done after 10-15h with no reason to keep playing.
Ehhhhh, you will soon see how retarded the story and levels turn to. You will be left wondering, wait wasn't i supposed to be fighting some root monsters in an american town or something? Wait? what? am i playing warframe, what the fuck is going on.
Time will show you.
Dungeon crawler where instead of swords and shit, its guns. I would recommend it to anyone to at least try if it was a bit cheaper. There isnt a whole lot of base content.
Sadly this is what happens when you take a game based around grinding and remove the grind, everyone is finishing the game and moving on already and the game isnt even fully released. I liked it but there was no hook to keep me playing.
> It is not really procedually generated, after two playthroughs you will have seen every boss and hav every item
if you have perfect RNG luck maybe
it's not like resetting your world looks at the prior seed and gives you everything it didn't the first time around
it's not got insane replayability like a proper dungeon crawler ought, but there's a reasonable amount
plenty of time for them to see wild launch success and work on an expansion to release in 3 months
hell, the labyrinth's lore is pretty much tailor-made for random new world expansions
Has anyone played it with a controller yet?
I'm thinking of playing this on the ps4 pro.
Dungeon crawling with guns, that sounds like it could be fun. So dungeons are generated each time you enter something? Or is it open world? How's loot if there is loot?
a fun and engaging 15 hour game for $40 sounds like a great deal to me
I don't know why people think every game needs to last 100+ hours
So is this hellgate london but better?
You want fun to last long enough to hate it.
it's more or less a roguelike dungeon crawler - think hellgate london + borderlands + some dark souls, but pretty significantly simplified versions of all the above
there are 4 major "environments" and each environment has several large areas with a couple of minibosses and one area boss
loot is found in hidden areas or acquired through finding world merchants or killing bosses and turning their guts into items
normal mobs only drop currency, upgrade items and ammo
the weapon upgrade system is nearly identical to soulsbourne games, with multiple levels for each rarity of upgrade component
this style of game should easily burn 300 hours, I get where people are surprised
but yeah, 40bux is a solid pricepoint for this title imo
less random item stats and drops compared to hellgate, but very similar in terms of how level generation works
Its structured like Dark Souls where you progress to a boss, beat it and then progress, there are different "zones" you can teleport to with their own enemies and environments, subsequent playthroughs change the map. Its not open world. You rest at a stone to reset the area and to teleport to the hub.
The loot is rare and changes with each playhthrough, you wont get everything in one run or you are extremely lucky. Loot doesnt drop constantly its quite rare to find something, otherwise you are collecting scrap to upgrade your current gear.
Again, I would recommend it but there really isnt a whole lot of content and it would be remiss of me to recommend something someone else would be dissapointed with. I like these kinds of games, Let it Die was also fun to me before the grind, but I know for sure alot of people dont like that kind of game.
Westernshit unpolished FOTM.
Like that game Outward.
Anyone figured out the fucking wolf dungeon bells yet? 6 hours and counting trying to do this shit.
It's unpolished as hell, but I like what they've done with the resources they had and I like where it could end up.
Their rate of patching and how long it takes to pump out new content will make or break it. They have a decent base to work from.
Now this game sounds pretty lit. Is there player levels to then? How does co-op work or is there no scaling like in Dark Souls?
>Do that and play on a gamepad, makes it a lot more fun.
>shooter
>gamepad
fucking rere
Actually based dad.
there are a bunch of passive "traits" you find/unlock through gameplay that you level up and put points into which more or less form a "build"
no direct stat point levelup system like a souls game
there are elements and resistances and status effects but I'm just dipping my toes into that aspect
coop works kind of like borderlands - you can choose to join other people or start your own workd set to solo/offline, friend only or public - and as you play people can join your match and will spawn when you use a bonfi- waypoint
go watch some streamfag play it on twitch for a while to get a feel for the gameplay itself, I'm not a good wordsmith
there is scaling when a level is first generated, based on the average of the equipped gear levels (if item in your inventory is higher level, that is counted)
so things do scale with you, but eventually traits and equipment let you outscale the curve so you feel progression
There is levelling but it doesnt work like Dark Souls where there are lots of stats to invest in, you pick 1 of 3 things to level, health stamina or spirit, to get stronger you upgrade your weapon, but there is a cap to those upgrades, different perks that affect playstyle are given from armour and things like rings which change how you play, for instance if you get a ring that increases effective damage range for weapons, you may want to start using those pissy little SMGs more often instead of just at close range because now the damage doesnt fall off so quickly. They arent just flat stat boosts they change how some things work.
Seems like a system that ensures that hard enemies are always hard, you cant just grind and outlevel an area to blast through it.
very solid 7/10 game that has a perfect release window with literally nothing else coming out soon.
I could see myself putting 30-40 hours into this running with other public groups
>has a perfect release window with literally nothing else coming out soon.
t. PC only shovelware eater
Enemy variety doesn't matter when you just shoot everything
If you bothered to read the computer and diary entries you would know that no one knows how the crystals fucking work. So it makes sense that you end up in places not related to the initial part of the story.
it's no elder scrolls, but there's still a fuckton more written lore just scattered around then you would expect from this kind of a title
I like it
Astral Chain doesn't come out until the 30th
Iceborne is September 6th
literally nothing else coming out until then is worth shit. Considering most games (especially smaller titles) make the majority of their cash in the first week or two of release, then yea it had a perfect launch date
Exactly, I was quite surprised at the diaries just placed around the world. Plus the little bits at the start where you can read why the reactor and the crystal failed or were shutdown.
what was the purpose of that weird-ass intro where you're exclusively fighting with a melee weapon? totally gives the wrong impression of what kind of game you're going into, like a bait and switch
You were on a journey to the Labyrinth most likely. The tower that randomly appears.
>1 of 3 things to level
Nigga what are you talking about? There's way more than 3 traits you can upgrade.
clumsy movement+combat tutorial
it really feels like they intended to start it off differently (like having you fight a bit then sneak into the base to the generator room to learn the shooting mechanics) but ran out of time
as far as the intro cutscene goes, who the fuck knows, that was really odd and doesn't fit any of the other lore I've read so far
>"why is the solution to beating all the enemies in a shooting game require shooting them"
Loads more than three traits, as well as you unlock traits from finding certain materials and doing certain missions/bosses.
Damn, I guess every enemy in Halo is just a grunt.
kek
Go ahead and melee everything, tough guy.
Pussy won't.
what's the best trait in the game?
I'm sure you could do a mostly melee run of the game
I do wish melee was a viable playstyle
but it really isn't, there's not enough variety
it needs a block or parry, if nothing else
stamina regen+regen rate
Melee is best use as a stun/stagger for smaller enemies as you can dodge reload.
is there anyway to reroll traits? I fucked up and invested a bunch into a shit trait
At one point the devs did say you could. But I'm not sure when you can pick that up to reroll.
are the achievements bugged or something? It doesn't let you access them
They're probably not public because of the pre-order early access.
after beating the final boss you get one, and you can buy them from the consumables merchant after that
>join public game
>player is afk in the hub
>can kill them
>leave
>they most likely get a game over screen
danke
am I missing something, or is there no penalty for dying? Other than resetting your mod build-up, I mean
Wtf I didn’t know about this game 2 days ago, tried today and it is the best game of this summer 8/10 by far
>didn't get the assault rifle spawn
What the fuck.
forcing you to trek back through the fucking dungeon reeeeee
Games like this shows how shooter games suck with melee enemies. Gotta make them bullet sponge as fuck and have add summons gank squads and 1-2 hit kills up the ass.
where's that? The fastest gun I've got so far is the 3-round burst gun from the undying guy
the only place where this was really bad was the whole "kill 3 regenerators" fight
It's supposed to be on earth. Exact location is random, but usually behind a door with a monkey drawn on it, for which you need a a key with a monkey key-tag, appropriately called the monkey key. I've gone through all earth dungeons, no monkey key, no monkey door, no AR. Got a sickass pocket watch that gives me a ton of stam regen though.
damn, I guess that didn't show up for my playthrough. I got the coughing chick give me her key which gave me a sniper rifle, but that easily gets outclassed by other guns soon after
>Got a sickass pocket watch that gives me a ton of stam regen though.
mudtooth is cool, I didn't even know about the pocket watch
Anyone know what to do with the dude in the dog room?
Kill him
The big ass dog is the boss. You could attack them but I didn't because that seems like an asshole thing to do.
did anyone find a dude in a mask on Earth? What're you supposed to do?
Man, Gorefist was actually a fun fight to do alone. Especially once you figure out the dodge pattern on him he becomes so easy but still engaging.
If you try to take his mask, he'll turn hostile. killing himgives you his mask. It's a piece of shit armorwise but it has health regen. Wearing it let's you talk to trees.
>Strange coin
anyone know the fuck I do with this?
You're supposed to give them to Xur.
Gorefist was a bitch to solo for me because he had the "regenerating" modifier. Agree though, once you figure out his patterns (dodging past him always worked for me) it's a really fun fight. The mask talks about works wonders here too, basically don't have to worry about Rot at all.
ok cool thanks. Do you know where the rest of the armor set is? Or is that part of the whole "talk to the trees" thing?
>see tree
>decide to shoot tree
>tree summons mob
>kill mob and tree
>quest complete get new item
Neat
>Do you know where the rest of the armor set is?
No clue, sorry. The tree I'm talking about is in a backtrack tile that is part of the random generation. If you walk up to it normally it just says [incomprehensible tree language]. If you have the mask, it'll tell you how tough you are and give you a trait that increases your armor. I've also heard from a dev stream that killing it is also an option.
Found it, returning the coin gets you a magnum pistol.
there's a sidearea fight that may or may not spawn for you in that playthrough, beating it opens a shop that lets you buy the rest of the set
Hot damn this thing is nice.
It's decent but in general since long arms fire slower a slow firing powerful side arm seemed superfluous to me
I'm still using the SMG I got for beating the Dragon though
Well the big trade off with it is it only takes like 3 headshots for me to summon 1 minion. At one point later in the hallway I had like 5 minions up.
oh, I didn't get that mod, I got a different one from that boss.
that dragon smg is one of the best secondaries in the game, especially using the flamethrower special for clearing hordes of trash
I'm still using it in the final boss fight
Oh yea, it's nice, plus I have the Leech Ember ring, so it's like a constant source of incoming hp.
God damn, minions plus leech makes things a lot easier. get 3 of the fuckers up and health becomes a non issue in mob fights.
I assume that heals you for a percentage of damage dealt or something?
haven't found that one yet, using wolf ring (stam regen, faster move speed) and an offensive ring (10% melee and ranged damage bonus) currently
Yea, melee damage regens health. It doesn't say, but since the minions do 30 damage and going off how much hp I'm getting back per hit, I'd say it's like 10-15% per hit. So like 3 to 4.5 hp per swing. But having 3 of them active at a time gives you a decent amount of hp regen at no real cost. Plus 3 little ankle bitters hitting for 30 damage each. As for the other rings I don't have those yet. Just Mothers Ring, with Leech Ring and then Cleansing Jewel. (25% to all healing, and Dragon removes all status effects)
shits randomized, right now I got a ring that reduces recoil and sway, and one that reduces stam cost
It's sort of randomized, I believe most of the drops are based on your world. Which already has set drops when you generate it. But you can recreate the world at any time you like so you can keep trying for certain gear. Though I won't really care until I try and NG+ (which I hear it has)
Oh fuck, The Root Mother was The Founders Wife. That's part of the first Diary entry you read about how a women who fell in love with founder Ford.
Shit it's neat when you actually read the extra lore and get to piece this kind of shit together.
she tells you that later but yes. you can also find another diary explaining what happened in the church
Did you explore bunker 13 with the keycard you get?
>keycard
Completely forgot I had this, guess it's time to go downstairs.
Its like an item randomizer, upon world generation you get a unique seed that changes everything but mandatory story stuff. All the items are moved but location of items is unchanged, and lore NPCs are moved around, different, or nonexistent. I think there are items that everyone always gets like the SMG and that hidden armor right after leaving Ward13
go down to Bunker 13, use the keycard, explore every room.
When you can't go any further-
take the fuse you found and go down to the next floor, use it to turn the power back on and open the door with the keycard.
then turn around and turn the power back off, go into the area you just opened, go left and go into the fan vent. you'll find some loot and the master key for the door you couldn't open in Bunker 13 back there.
just telling you this because I couldn't figure out the second spoiler because i'm a fucking brainlet
>that hidden armor right after leaving Ward13
,..what hidden armor? I'm still in my ex cultist stuff :(
That table where you get the Ward 13 Master Key, that glows red with that other thing that glows green, there is a breakable dresser or some shit in that room with a hole to crouch through
In the first entrance into Ruined Eartt, there's two bookcases blocking a secret area. Inside it is two pieces of the Drifter set. It reduces stamina consumption.
How's the ass?
>Inside it is two pieces of the Drifter set.
oh I found the mask for that but not the other stuff
I like my cultist armor though
not much of it
Oh yea, reading all these logs really helps put the concept of the multi-world and random generated layouts into a way that works with the lore. Pretty neat way of doing it.
how do i fucking kill the ENT god damn it i'm getting raped at the bottom health bar because if I get hit by one mortar he stunlocks me and kills me and the adds are atrocious
So not quite like hellgate london, then. Would you say it'd be worth it as a singleplayer game? Or should I wait on sale or something if I do that.
it explains how everything started, except why your character is looking for the Tower
>Would you say it'd be worth it as a singleplayer game?
i'm playing it SP. I think it's worth it.
don't stop moving, just sprint when the mortars launch
the adds are low health and pop instantly and you can roll out of the explosion range too
focus on one of his legs
and upgrade your fucking weapons
What exactly is the Root?
Another possible outcome of species from an parallel-world (alternative timeline) of Earth. That's what all the monsters are. Or at least that's what I'm guessing at this point.
it gets explained when you free rootmother and get to the tower, but essentially:
interdimensional invaders that want to exterminate all life because it annoys them
>shooter
>gamepad
you got me, here's your (you)
thats the point. The gamepad purposefully cripples you, making it more difficult
Not him, it's a really good game, I have no idea why they named it some trash shit, this might be goty
I've been playing it for a good 3 hours now. Shit's more fun than i ever imagined it to be. Apparently the entire levels are randomly generated, is that true? Also what's with the research facility under ward 13? I've been able to get deeper and found a room with some kind of mirror and the key for the room upstairs but i only found a smg in there and nothing else. Should i check everything again? Or will i get something later to operate the console for that mirror thing?
If you like fun, yes
If you only play games for PvP, no
Game is neat, pleasantly surprised. I like the thing where bosses will come in and fuck you up, reminds me of Dragons Dogma on BBI.
All these semi auto weapons are hurting my fucking fingers though, when can I expect to get an automatic of some sort, I ran into someone with what looked like and SMG with a flamethrower attachment, do I just have to get lucky with finding it?
Character customization at start sucks ass, no sliders, all premade faces, armor customization is good
I restarted my campaign and it does generate a new map with fresh items to pick up, it doesnt make a new map every time you return to the hub it does it when it says "reroll" on the game options screen when you go to teleport, this will start you right back to the begining of that campaign though so dont do it if you are trying to progress.
Yes but it actually plays well
btw if you hit shift while aiming you switch shoulder
Are you retarded? Did you run the game on nightmare right at the start? Nightmare is for having gear
FOR THOSE ASKING WHAT THIS GAME PLAYS LIKE
>after the rather dumb intro level that is in no way indicative of the actual game, you get a LONGARM (some sort of semi automatic with a small ammo pool - a shotgun, a hunting rifle, or a coach gun), a semi auto pistol with a magazine, and a melee weapon
>game revolves around collecting materials in the form of scrap (currency) or craft mats (iron, etc), as well as unique mats from bosses
>unique mats are forged into new mods or weapons by the bitch
>mods are slotted into your long arm or side arm
>they add special or unique abilities you can use, like an AOE heal, or lighting bullets on fire etc
>there is stamina management, but stamina is only reduced by dodging or sprinting, not melee attacks
>pace is methodical but rewards moving your ass and taking bold action since enemies will swarm you and can kill you fast
>zones are random seeded like diablo
>bosses are semi randomized- you might not get the same bosses as another player, and dungeon bosses will have unique modifiers that are randomized
>chests only have Scrap and Mats in them
>you find weapons and equipment laying around the world tucked into corners and other places as glowing purple items
Once you beat the final boss you get a consumable to do that
>as you kill enemies you gain exp, gain exp to gain levels, which gives you an Attribute (skill) point
>applying points to an attribute gives you special passive benefits. At first your available attributes are very basic, however you gain more as you progress through the game and do certain things. Ex. listening to a tape recording of alien gibberish gives you the Eldritch Knowledge attribute which you can level to boost EXP gain
>there are a lot of secrets and a few puzzles
>ex: you can find a tree that just speaks tree gibberish to you. if you attack the tree it turns into a boss and you can kill it for an item. Or, if you find an NPC in a randomized zone, you can kill him for his mask, which lets you talk to the tree, which gives you a special attribute
>or you can not kill the guy/egg him on and he sells you things
>mobility is important, dodging enemy attacks by rolling or moving out of the way is important
>as you progress you'll meet more and more special enemies with unique attributes
>don't waste ammo on the little bramble shits just kick them
>not talking to tree with twisted mask on and getting a trait instead
that NPC's random, you might not get them, wailing good is always there though
Anyone figure out how to get catalyst trait yet? No guides or wikis say how
You can get a submachine gun right underneath ward 13 in section b3
Just got him, and it seems if you kill the tree, he seems happy that the voice is gone.
Is his prices better?
>prices
I didn't even get the chance, the fucker attacked me because I accidently picked "let me see the mask". So yea, maybe it was.
>the enemy with double blades that blocks shots
This guy is really annoying when he's got ten of the little fucks swarming me at the same time. And he spawns behind, to boot.
How replayable is it?
Any consequences of dying beside going back to the last checkpoint? Or is it more forgiving in that regard compared to souls games?
>you can find a tree that just speaks tree gibberish to you. if you attack the tree it turns into a boss and you can kill it for an item. Or, if you find an NPC in a randomized zone, you can kill him for his mask, which lets you talk to the tree, which gives you a special attribute
WHAT? Fuck, I had the mask and everything and I still shot it. Like, three times. Fuck. If I go back will it be there? I even lost against the boss.
Sooo, can I play this straight through in coop or did they go for that fucking dark souls summoning system?
it had potential but honestly the randomly spawning enemies just kill it for me. It just feels lazy, like regenerating health.
>oh you want to pick people off with a sniper rifle? how about enemies just spawn 10 feet in front of you lol
It only gets over the top during boss fights when they spawn above and behind you, so you're literally blind sided constantly. Idk maybe it's fun with friends.
Odd, I have enemies spawning way off in the fucking distance and I'm picking them off at insane ranges.
more than once i've had them spawn inside boxes or cars, and i only got to the root mother
the mortars are shot out on a fixed cadence. He usually shoots 5-7 of them each time, so learn the cadence, ignore everything and focus strictly on the mortars, and dodge roll every time one is about to land.
Once you figure that out the fight is a breeze.
Why would you use a sniper in single player, are you retarded?
no, death has zero consequences (unless there was dropped loot you weren't able to grab before death; that shit's gone)
which armor
heard this game was hard. I figured if you kill first you don't get shot at
guess it's a different kind of game
your mod buildup gets reset each time you die, but that's a really small penalty
Is the spore gland a guaranteed drop?
For some reason when I killed treeman I didnt get one.
You have your own world. Which means if you join a guy, that guys world would continue but not yours.
Man, haven't even made my way off the dream world yet and I have such good shit. Do we know if there is a full on level cap?
it's medium weight
3-piece bonus is 25% damage increase for 5 seconds on kill
get it from the desert merchant
>dream world
Meant, initial Earth.
i'm upwards of 120 now. no clue
does the starting archetype only affect the starting armor/weapons/mod? Will I be able to equip anything later?
You can equip anything later my dude
i've had very little difficulty playing solo sniper, desu. don't charge blindly through levels/dungeons. when faced with a swarm, retreat backwards through the map (i.e., areas you have completely cleared), stop and kill a few off, retreat, kill, etc. bait and melee trash mobs.
there should never be a time you're
surrounded by things getting raped. it is amazingly easy to turn around and run to gain distance from almost every mob.
boss fights are a little trickier because of the confined space + constant adds. if you're not good at 3rd person shooters to begin with, just use the guaranteed SMG from the area underneath the reactor
oh and just to be sure--make sure you understand how scaling works. if you upgraded your guns a bunch but still have lvl 1 armor, you're getting fucked.
Archetypes are just starting loadouts. You can buy the other weapons from from the smith dude and the armor, mods, and traits can be acquired in dungeons.
I finally did it. Shooting off his leg is a BAD IDEA
Well I think I'll call it a night, Had a good solid run and ended at a Dungeon I ran twice, and will probably run a third time. Mostly because there was one last area before it I missed, only read it was "checkpoint" and was a section of the map. So might be something worthwhile there, if not the dungeon dropped good shit both times, so a third won't hurt.
There's no cap, you can max all 32 traits
I wasn't having much difficulty, it's just that the enemy spawning is a pet peeve of mine. Feels like wack-a-mole more than exploring a dangerous world. I didn't upgrade anything since headshots were taking out most things in 1 shot
A sniper is a support class in every game
Goddamn this is actually a shill thread.
who the FUCK says "pretty lit"?
>the leech ring gives you HP back when your little tree gremlin summons melee things
wrong, it gives you an incredibly badass melee weapon that fucking roars when you attack
it also deals rot damage, which is the only weapon I've seen so far that does so
you should keep your armor within a level or two of your weapons to keep autoscaling from fucking you with mobs that nearly oneshot you
Sorry boomer it's "l33t"
you should play more games
Yea, I read about that earlier. So I'll probably run this dungeon a few times for mats to raise those.
Killing Ent without kneecapping it will reward you a singlefire shotgun with a mod that shoots a rot grenade.
thanks
Yep, you can see it here,
>Co-op game
Cool
>3 player
FUCK
how long is the game?
If you rush it probably not long. I'm 7 hours in and still on the first world.
A sniper is a support class in real life you faggot, you fundamentally don't understand that a sniper isn't a frontline fighter, what the fuck are you supposed to do against mobs of enemies near you, you absolute fucking tard? What is wrong with you, get fucking friends ffs if you want to play a single shot class
>Playing western games in 2019
Seems like a combination of Resi4 and a souls game. Neat.
I'd understand it a tiny bit if it was some retarded meme like "kino" but this is your reasoning? What the fuck are you even doing here then if this is just a "shill" thread? Are we really at that point that you can't even recommend or discuss a game on this shithole without being called a shill because you're not constantly shitting on it? Fucking hell, it really is the eternal summer.
>the first boss
This thing has caused me to have no hope for the rest of the game. Truly shitty boss design.
stop sperging out and try out some new games bud
ah, far enough - that's the special ability though and it's pretty bad as a shotgun
I just really like both the visual appearance and the fucking roar the hammer makes, doing rot damage is nothing but a bonus
That's not how you use l33t you raging gay boy.
You can just replay the world after resetting it and get the other weapon right?
Yes, but you're not guaranteed to getting Ent a second time. You might get Root Dragon instead.
So what does that drop?
A SNIPER IS NOT A FUCKING FRONTLINE SINGLE PLAYER FIGHTER YOU METAL GEAR NIGGGGERRRRRRRRRRRRR
Fucking loser holy shit
You'd know old balls ass boomer
Attention, 4channel users: this paid employee of THQ Nordic just used the term "retarded" in a derogatory sense. Clearly, this is a company worthy only of scorn and derision. I know that I for one will be closing my wallet to THQ Nordic, and I wholeheartedly encourage you all to do the same.
People ITT say it's an SMG with a flamethrower mod but I bet it also drops the fire sword. I don't know what the drop condition for that is though.
yeah it is, maybe your aim is just bad?
>a ranged character who can't deal with enemies in close range
>plays solo in a game with enemies that have gap closers
Big retard, big fucking retard
Just keep back, dodge the arrows and then the fire.get shots Inbetween
Is there any fanservice in it?
At this point I refuse to buy games who do not feature attractive women.
I will just pirate if there is none.
How are you having trouble? Did you meme a harder mode? His shit is really dodgeable
You can pirate it but the best part about it is the coop, all my friends are playing it so it's pretty fun, playing solo is pretty oppressive on certain builds
>first boss is Shroud Enchanter
Holy SHIT is this cancer
They should really make more bosses without adds, I'd even be fine with being brutally punished for missing shots, needing to constantly do a 360 every few seconds to NOT get swarmed by adds from behind can get annoying
Guess that answers that question then. Here's your last (You) for the effort.
cut off its tail, you get the sword
kill it normally, you get the smg
shroud isn't bad, use the verticality of his arena to your advantage
remember you can diveroll over ledges
Shroud is a pisstake, his adds AND the Enchanter prefix is what's hard, since those deal about triple the damage his garbage arrows deal
THQ Nordic didn't publish this game.
I hope you atleast get autism bux to help out your family you degenerate
Say you beat the first two worlds. And you want to go back and get an item from the very first. Does resetting mean you have to go through everything all over again? Or is each world it's own reset?
Fuck Singe
Reset the whole thing, just redo it with friends
The former.
>STOP PLAYING GAMES DIFFERENT FROM HOW I DO! REEEEEE
>hear loud noise
>slowly walk
>his AOE bomb shells all miss
Stop being bad. There is literally a loud audio queue every time he drops them and it gives you like 3 to 5 seconds of warning.
He's such an easy fight though. It's just a matter of kiting and hitting his chest.
My personal rule is finishing the game alone in the first playthrough.
I only play multiplayer afterwards.
If the game is good enough for me to want to play it again, I will buy it.
But first I need to know how female characters are portrayed in it.
Nigga you can play however you want, just get fucking friends, not everything works well solo big tard
Character customization is ass, armor is non sexual
That's still his regular ability.
The Enchanter garbage adds random Rot explosions all around the arena, that deal about the same damage as the melee adds damage which is about 40% of HP with full armor upgrades.
I beat him already, I'm just saying it's complete cancer.
On a different character I got Skullcracker and I still don't know what the prefix does since he died so fast
Skullcracker makes all attacks deal knockback.
I got gorefist and it turned really easy when I upgraded my armor a few levels and didn't just die to a single stray explosion. Upgraded weapon helped too.
> A sniper is a support class in real life you faggot
this isn't like playing a sniper in arma, you fucking retard
I'm still reading and analyzing your post, but you're doing a great job with explaining and I wanted to thank you
heres some spoilers, the boss changes
There are trannies in this game?
what the fuck is the deal with this brabus guy? I unload 3 full ammo clips in him and it takes half of one bar and then I die from the 30 adds with shotguns spawning behind me. there's simply not enough ammo in the world to kill him. I gave up and went and fought the next main boss and only died a few times before winning that one
Something about how cool you described this makes me think it won't be as cool as your idea
Surprisingly smooth. Thought not really surprising its built in unreal engine, more specifically the darksiders version, uses a lot of assets from it too.
as opposed to what? everything being killed in one shot? Go suck a sausage, yancee.
Should I kill the doggo pack and the NPC?
wanna play with a friend, or someone i just met, but I'm pirating it cause poor rn. sigh
is he hearty? that means he has more health
Zoomers HellGate London
It's nice that it plays a little less clunky than Hellgate. Maps are better too, but Hellgate's loot is better and I like the theme more, albeit the humor is kind of annoying.
shill
Just found the Ricochet Rifle. It's basically a saw blade gun, but the shots bounce off walls and enemies
The max number of upgrades for the Dragon Heart is 10. After that do not sell Simularcums, they're needed to get boss weapons up to +10.
I made this mistake just now and had to repurchase a Simulacrum i had just sold
But... it literally says that in the description.
You should know by now that most people posting here don't know how to read. myself included
Man you gotta be pretty zoomer yourself if you think this is anything like HellGate London.
Ramlethal's forehead is gigantic!
Gigantic!
Maybe I'd be playing if I didn't plan on buying the PS4 version.
It's still not on the store and I wouldn't be surprised if they miss the actual release date.
>Triple run of the dungeons.
>Can't find the third control rod.
At a certain point these copy-pasted dungeons start to really wear you down when the mobs are packed tighter than sardines even after you clear out the boss room.
It's not on the store because pre-order players were supposed to get a 3-day early start, but at the last minute the deal fell through and they couldn't get an early launch for PS4 so they removed pre-order option to prevent people from getting it before the actual release on the 20th. People who pre-ordered will still get the other pre-order bonuses but even they can't preload the game.
Serves me right for pre-ordering digital 30 minutes before actual release. Guess I'm out of luck this time.
imagine a modern take on pre-cover mechanic third person shooters. It feels like a xbox 360 game with modern paint.
If you want pre-order bonuses you're fine. Buying a game digitally on day 1 gives you all the pre-order bonuses if you're buying on PSN. It's been that way with every game.
Shit, really? Good to know.
The drowned trench, what the fuck?
Tight, convoluted, with tons of angles. Filled to the brim with snapshotting shotgunners, snipers that stun you if they land a shot, duos of bull rushing dogs, huge armored knights with warhammers that are an absolute pain to kill, bugmen that stand in all the little corners and stun you if you get too close then rush into melee and shred you, AND giant fucking ogres with a damage AoE around their face who run like fucking track stars.
and the game spawns in more enemies like every 10 steps on top of this shit
Is there something I'm missing when it comes to the warhammer knights? They take almost no damage, stagger their swings when I dodge and yeet their hammers at me for easily half my HP per hit.
How do you get through the futuristic temple not-forerunner area on the desert world? My dinky repeater pistol and coach gun are not cutting it, not enough ammo dropping to keep up with the constant swarming from all mobs once I start shooting
On the bright side, i'm very pleased to see that the game got a lot harder from the first area, and the desert area looks pretty nice so far.
Have you been upgrading your gear?
If you're getting swarmed and can't keep up using the coach gun the upgrade guy sells the regular shotgun which does a little less damage but holds 7 shells.
I didn't enjoy the hour or so I played after getting out of the base
that's the weakest part of the game, sadly.
I was having the same problem, but gritted it out and that dungeon gave me a laser rifle
Would only use it if the hammer was as quick a slice as the sword. Melee seems underpowered in this game and more about giving extra options when fighting as well as for conserving ammo and smashing breakables, rather than a focusable build.
anyway the rot shotgun sucks but was extremely helpful against the firey black triangle skull boss on the irradiated desert world.
I did shotty and repeater and got through fine. When you get to the boss find a choke point. Theres a really good one in the far back.

Imagine having this level of tism'.
What is it
>no autoloot
>no aim toggle
gimme QoL
>>no aim toggle
you can turn off aim assist in game options?
hold to pick up would be nice but X does too many things
>Ent
The fuck is this shit? Should I really be fighting this with just a sniper and the basic bitch pistol?
there's something called aim snap in the options but I don't know what that do and that's not aim toggle
first real boss, time to git gud
You may wanna use something besides the Sniper in an arena against a boss that shoots explosives at you though
It looks neat. Is it free or nah? What do you do
How the fuck am I expected to dodge homing missiles while dealing with the constantly spawning adds?
>Free?
it is if you pirate. Otherwise $40
>what do you do
Fight evil tree's to make them get off yer planet, go on a magical journey to find an old hobo who is the key to your quest
the same way you did it with the first two bosses you fought - stick and move, run
First two bosses I fought had cover.
Beat it. Still calling bullshit on that fight, he can stun you with a yell while the adds are out, and there's nothing you can do to stop it from stunlocking you.
Do you do things?
when i entered the desert world there was a cute muslim girl prostrating before me
got a little chub not gonna lie, beyond that i havent seen any
>Is there any fanservice in it?
none, besides bedouin cyclops girl in AFAIK
And she's literally in full robes and an abaiyah so
>How good the guns feel
Bullet sponge enemies with damage counters feels good?
>Butcher fight
>Tiny room
>Ads spawn every time he breaks a jar which there are millions of
>Ads hit as hard as he does but ten times faster
>if you dodge ads you get fucked by the boss
>If you focus on the ads you get fucked by the boss
which retard designed this fight?
mainly use it for the cpu temps and fps counter, but the rest are nice too
my room gets real fucking hot now in the summer, especially this year because Scandinavians are getting fucked by the sun, and with my CPU being OCd i need to keep tabs on it until it my room cools down
shit dog this thread is still up?
Mileage will vary from person to person. The randomization/build variety should allow for at least 2 playthroughs, each at about 10 hours.
Pretty fun, but absolutely nothing mindblowing though. This feels like one of those middle-of-the-line games that would have been released in the PS2/Gamecube era before everything had to have a billion dollars worth of TRRRRRRRRRRIPLE AAAAYYYYYY funding
I'm not getting the bullet sponge part? Most shit dies in 1-2 shots
Are you all playing on Hard too early? You're supposed to get some weapon upgrades, THEN switch to hard
Autism
nice
>budget AA title
>nitpicky complaints everywhere
best game
>nitpicky complaints everywhere
Fuck off shill. Nobody's nitpicking. And even if they were, shill, nobody has an obligation to excuse bullshit because of budget. It's not a free to play game, shill.
Definitely not a fan of post apocalyptic settings.
It's only post-apocalyptic for the first area. The other 4/5ths of the game are more destiny-ish in world design
shillshillshillshillshillshill
i feel bad for you, but also hope that you are the one that has been posting about shills the entire time this thread has been up
it would be dreadful to believe this place has actually become full of buzzword spouting faggots that literally cannot fathom that a thread regarding a brand spanking new game isnt created by developers of said game or people paid to promote it
its like im in a fucking retirement home full of dementia/alzheimers ridden people
>i feel bad for you,
This isn't reddit, go spout that stuck up bullshit elsewhere, nigger. Stopped reading.
adds are needed to get your ammo back
same shit in the division 2
Well that's promising.
Four biomes, the starting (post apoc), a madmax desert type zone, swamp zone (no movement penalty) and a fantasy-ish forest zone
This game looks like it's part of the Darksider's universe
I know that the same guys made 3 that's why it looks that way, but I'm just gonna pretend it's a Darksiders game where you play as a human trying to survive the apocalypse
i did it bros, had to pussyfoot through the first area to avoid getting completely swarmed, but its nice to see that the AI is at least somewhat capable of flanking/surrounding you
hope this beam rifle was worth it
This game belongs in a different time. It's kinda weird for a game to just come out and be complete these days. I really appreciate the devs for releasing the game like this, just a AA third person shooter with no bullshit attached.
I'm about to pirate the game. What am I missing out on online wise?
I only played solo but I believe the game is better played solo
>
what does the skull under the minimap mean
You can play multiplayer cracked
campaign difficulty
pair it with the hotshot mod and you have a weapon for life
>enemy is A FUCKING TREE
also, how's the fashion? Is it just trenchcoats?
very cool boss
second phase is even easier
Got you the better Remnant
tortanic retards ruined Yea Forums . I remember when you still could enjoy a game and not be bomarded by braindead buzzwords and turbo autists screaming "shill , shill".
Cool. How?
You get some destiny lookin shit, some tree looking shit, all the base class armors. Theres one in the desert I only got one piece of and it was the pants - for melee.
That's all ive found so far
Colour me intrigued. How's the weapon/build variety in this game? Any unconventional guns(ie:tesla guns/sawblade gun) or the like? Is it possible to focus more on the melee or magic-esque abilities?
Livestreamer here; no I won't shill my channel.
Did a Live Event for this game and we wound up switching games about 3 hours in because of how fucking bad it is.
This game is just procedurally generated garbage that thinks if they call it Bloodborne enough times people will buy it.
Viewers were absolutely bored out of their minds and asked me to go back to Sekiro or Monster Hunter.
why the fuck would we care about how viewers feel about the game
i think mon hun is great but it's a fucking garbage game to watch other people play, don't know why you think it's relevant.
It's very much a game that's fun primarily with friends which apparently the average Yea Forums user has none of
>back to sekiro or monster hunter
start your post with this next time so nobody has to read the rest of your drivel, you and your viewers are fucking morons if you/they not only enjoy playing these two games, but also would want to watch anyone stream it
It looks fun
Viewers are retards that want something familiar. That's why they watch and are too simple to play the game themselves
Hey dipshit everything is fun with friends, if a game is primarily fun with friends, it's shit
final boss is so bad lmao
How so
fitgirl-repacks.site
CTRL+f for Omid Matin he has an explanation, I didn't manage to make it work with friends, cause my friend has a Retail one, but you can join random public ones, so the friend thing should work. Also use a throwaway account for Steam
How much replayability?
>Colour me intrigued. How's the weapon/build variety in this game? Any unconventional guns(ie:tesla guns/sawblade gun) or the like? Is it possible to focus more on the melee or magic-esque abilities?
unfortunately not too much. There are some slightly more unconventional weapons you get later, like the beam rifle. But melee is a secondary thing,
>PEOPLE WHO DID NOTHING WRONG
Ford
The Undying King
>Cunts who did everything wrong
Ellen
The Commander
Seriously, Ford spends decades researching the root and how to defeat them and his cunt daughter and grand daughter treat him like trash so he just peaces out and burns all his research reeee
Not enough weapon variety
Not enough stat modifier
Trait is MEH, filled with '% more stuff' instead of something you could build your character around
Melee feels really bad and clunky
All the downside of a procedural generated world; Shallow and predictable. Suppose to be the main attraction of the game, but it became the main detriment for me.
Boss is not engaging enough
Bosses HAVE to include mobs or else they will be too easy/boring
Story is shit
Its an okay-ish co-op game that is good for a single playthrough.
5/10 wouldn't touch it again.
Not that dude, but everything that you build your character with got thrown out of the window with the bullshit mechanic.
All those grinds and weapon upgrade for what?
Barely any. There's no 'end game' so there's no purpose for you to grind/upgrade your character. All equipment is pre-made too (aka there's no loot farming).
I played through it once on hard and i'll do NG+ in Nightmare just for the sake of it and then i'll be done. If you don't join other peoples games one playthrough should be about 14ish hours, give or take a little.
Yes user I'm sure that all happened.
>Viewers were absolutely bored out of their minds and asked me to go back to Sekiro or Monster Hunter
If you use viewer interest as a metric for game quality, you must think Fortnite is the best game ever.
that's happened to me a few times as well. Luckily it was always soon after I reached a checkpoint
>Stopped reading
clearly you didn't
the second I saw the Undying King speak to you with his hands behind his back and in his palms, I knew he was trustworthy and agreed to get the beast heart for him. What a great design.
I still killed him in another public world to get his awesome battle rifle though
Can you get undying king's bath water?
he's not a real boss, I never had to fight him
yea just send the devs $30 and you should get it in the mail in a couple weeks
solo nightmare will be 14 hours per boss
Nightmare shroud took me 2 attempts with +15 gear and around 140 trait level so i don't think so friendo
WOULD
YOU
This isnt a fucking mil sim shooter, stop acting like this is the same problem as Division, where its HUMANS taking 10 shotgun blasts to the head for no real reason. Shit, with things like sniper rifles enemies routinely die in like 2 hits.
Does that even has a pussy?
Cant speak for others but I look forward to playing on harder difficulties, the maps change each time you play and there are different bosses. Its a dungeon crawler, you arent running through the same exact map every playthrough.
Sadly, the thing that is going to kill it is infact the lack of grind, I dont feel like there is enough content to work towards to keep an active community of players.
well random world seeds with different items feels like grindy enough for me. I've spent the past 2 hours trying to get the leto's amulet to spawn without success.
is there any punishment for dying?
for most people the grind you mentioned is meaningless without any end game activity to use them on.
none
When will it be on Ps4? I can't buy a new computer right now and I can't run new games, only New Vegas etc. I need a new fun game
Is taking Elder Knowledge worth it? Wondering If by the time I'm done I only got 20 more trait points with it and could have just spent that stuff on other traits to begin with.
Also, with they way the level scaling works, it seems to be best to keep everything equiped on the same level and then upgrade after you entered a new area or only if it has a boss. Are you forced to use melee cause of ammo usage? Wondering if I can not upgrade my melee weapon in order to have my guns scale better.
once you beat the final boss (another players or your own) you can respec all trait points for 2500 scrap
How much does starting class affect? Is it just like dark souls where it gives you some starting stats and gear, but doesn't set your build in stone?
Someone just tell me if it has SJW pandering in it or not.
>living rent free for so long that they've made you fear playing video games
have dilate
cinematic camera view and overweighted combat animations ruin yet another game
>Cant watch a movie without empowering wymen BS in it
>Can't play h game without NTR popping up
>Not even my vidya are safe
IDK what rent free means or if you just want a (You), but I like my games enough to avoid propaganda
>Someone just tell me if it has SJW pandering in it or not.
no? besides the weapon craft engineer being a bitch. but everyone says she's a bitch
DUDE MILLIONS ADDS ON BOSS LMAO
wait, wheres the dragon?

well fuck. The shotgun is ass compared to my coach too. They need to reign the fucking spread in because the primary fire isnt worth suffering through to use the aids cloud
>Can see through walls
>nothing behind me
>move up to clear out enemies
>enemy jumps at me from behind
cool
The game is set in the same world as a VR game called Chronos. Which follows the hero who allegedly slew the dragon in that game. He is going to the tower because the hero failed and he is trying to complete the quest.
