Had a lot of fun times. Got a bit too easy and repetitive once you figure out what to do, but still so long as you use your imagination a bit it was great. Also it was nice whenever we recieved new characters, I would check the blog everyday.

Depending how much you like JRPGs, I'd say Alicesoft games can be good. Not saying that all of them are, they've made their share of stinkers too, but that's bound to happen when you stay in business for over 30 years.
For example, I think that Toushin Toshi 2 that you posted is good. It has solid progression, and they manage to keep things fresh despite you exploring a single dungeon for entirity of the game.
Then there's also Eushully and Softhouse Chara games. They don't have quite as solid of a track record, but still make some good stuff.

really? I thought it was pretty decent. The regular stages are pretty easy though since you can just heal off of most enemies, and the last boss is certainly a pretty big difficulty spike.
