I've been seeing people say that tes6 will for sure will be in hamemrfell? Is this a meme? Why would they do that? Who is the audience here, niggers don't play tes. Majority of the player base is white males who won't relate to boring fantasy black people. This is why the Redguards are the least popular race.
Why not set the game in High Rock? Even the non-human/elf races are more desired, relatable, and liked then the Redguards. It makes zero financial sense to put a game there. Please tell this is one big meme.
It isn't confirmed, but setting the game in Hammerfell is a great way to retcon the lore such that the Redguards are racially oppressed by evil white Imperials, and you the Wokeborn get to help free them from oppression, with a subplot about the Thalmor trying to steal all your vibranium. You know what's up.
Ayden Brooks
-Bosmers - boring -Argonians - more boring -Khajits- see above -Redguards- boring and sand -Bretons- already there -Nords- done -Dummer- same -Imperials- checked the only interesting race left are the Altmers in Summerset
Chase Wilson
Redguards aren't niggers, they're Arabs.
Bentley Jenkins
I thought a while back everyone assumed it would be Valenwood? I'd be down for that. High Rock would also be cool though.
Xavier Taylor
Cuckbride deliberately made the Redguards as they are in Quentin Tarantino levels of self-flagellation. You can find old forum posts from him claiming that he wanted to create powerful niggers who colonised instead of being conquered. Thankfully it seems everyone who wasn't a drug addict forced him to tone it down, but the damage is done and now we have a region full of Arab-Nigger hybrids.
Bosmer are non-corporeal beings who're only kept in check by their deity and their Green Pact, if this falters they become permanently shapeshifting beasts who sweep across the world killing everything they come across. They have walking trees which double up as their buildings, and loads of exotic creatures (some of which are somewhat sentient/sapient).
Argonians and Khajiit are on a similar level of fantasy, if not even more out there.
Leo Ramirez
>Majority of the player base is white males who won't relate to boring fantasy black people
Why would it be on elsweyr or valenwood ? I doubt there's much cats or wood elfs playing the game, that could relate.
Say what? Excuse me. But the Imperials couldn't oppress a fucking fly. First, they never conquered Hammerfell in battle, what they did is sided with the redguard uncle tom faction aka forebears to get the land. If not for that, them white bois would've got exposed on the battlefield something series. And even then, Cyrus had them so shook the Imperials had to loosing up their control. Imagine if the uncle tom redguards didn't back them, Imperials would've had to tuck their balls in and make a more cuckish treaty then they did with the Thalmor after they took them to think brink of defeat.
Talkin about the Redguards are oppressed, nigga them imperials can't even handle those low intelligence, back water ice neanderthals up north. They're a fucking joke. Even their women don't respect them. Saw half of them married to those nordic cave men in Skyrim.
And the capitol of cyrodiil is overun with all types of non-imperials. Haven't you not noticed how dark skin the Imperials are in Skyrim now. They were almost fully white in Morrowind, seems them imperial women have been sucking a lot of Redguard cock, not like I can blame them. What women isn't going to be traitorous to men who keep getting cucked in war.
Samuel Ramirez
Wood elves are basically the closest you can get to a white male in fantasy races.
Carson Richardson
Come on, cat people and elves are more relatable then black people.
Levi Foster
Since es6 is taken place in hammerfell. I need all the post skyrim/eso islamization retcons that were done to the redguards to be severely pulled back. For one, its flat out racist that the white boy races like the nords, bretons, and imperials get to maintain their real world equivalent cultures when the Redguards get theirs retcon the fuck out for no reason.
For fuck sake, the Crowns descend from the noble Na-Totambus, obviously African, and the initial redguards that conquered hammerfell had spears, tribal like shields, and straight swords, however, in eso, every redguard now has a Arabic name, turbans, and those fucking cancerous meme curved swords. They wouldn't have never brownwashed the white boy races like this, this is fucking ridiculous.
Secondly, fantasized Africa weapons, clothing, and armor is more original, fresh, and cool then arabian fantasy which is played out and lacks weapon diversity imo(omg muh million different curved swords). Why the fuck aren't Redguards using spears anymore??? How is a fantasy race made more better by removing elements from it?
They could've kept that corny Arabic shit for the forebears and natives of the alik'r desert while having the other redguards maintaining their African context. That would've added diversity and made redguards more interesting instead of the shit we have now where everyone is name muhammad, nazir, or Akhbar and is equipped with the same old boring curved sword shit.
I swear to god i'm so close to making noise about this on twitter about how racist bethesda removed the redguards african foundations because they think african fantasy is inferior to the white european fantasy. This shit better get worked out in tes6 or todd has got a problem on his hands.
but user dont you wanna play as a nigger in a nigger wonderland? In all seriousness if this is set in hammerfell TES is already dead.
Kayden Stewart
When you guys say these racist and hurtful shit about black people do you ever feel bad. Or are just so sadistic that you actually get off on the suffering you do to black people?
Robert Clark
I agree. Their lore is good but their implementation is literally a joke, and I mean literally. Todd and his crew have decided upon them being the comic relief in every game since Morrowind what with that weird guy in the first village you enter in Morrowind, the Adoring Fan in Oblivion, etc
Every black comedian on the planet has an act that consists almost entirely of "white people so white!", I'm allowed to crack a joke too. If that causes "suffering", toughen up, or maybe engage in some cultural introspection and question what it means that nearly every public figure you have is openly and blatantly racist towards "honkey".
You're a bad faith actor if you think the things being said itt is equivalent to a black comedian making - why do white people kiss their dogs on the mouth - type jokes.
Jason Parker
I thought the rumors pointed towards Akavir.
William Flores
Hammerfell makes sense as a progression of the Thalmor storyline. The thalmor want to unmake reality, and hammerfell is home to weaboo fightan magic that can warp reality. Makes sense the thalmor would want to get their hands on it
Zachary Reyes
Akavir would be great but would be pretty fucking ambitious considering they'd have to model a bunch of new beast races, plus there wouldn't be many of the standard races since akavir is unexplored
Daniel Walker
Please, explain the difference between "comedic statement made on the basis of race", and "comedic statement made on the basis of race".
We both know the only difference is the race of the person making the statement, because you yourself are racially biased, and will readily dismiss actions on the part of one race that you would decry as racism when undertaken by members of another race.
Ethan Murphy
Pretty sure there'd only be arabniggers (if they didn't all hop on the banana boats to welfare land) and elves leftover from their empires, maybe some Imperial expeditions and the Nerevarine.
Modelling snake-men, monkey men and etcetera and expecting your average Joe to play them is a little too much to ask I think. Most people would be overwhelmed by the amount of new information and the strange land, probably so much so that they wouldn't consider it TES.
Isaac Morgan
It also makes sense based on landmass. The other provinces we haven't seen yet are like half the size of Skyrim.
Adrian Cook
Why the fuck would it take place in Akavir? Did you see how much money and attention that Black Panther got for being a nigger fantasy movie? That alone tells you tes6 will be in hammerfall. If there is one thing you can be sure of is that Todd is a money chasing shyster, so if he can tap into current fads to shill his products, he will. He did it with skyrim when he intentionally advertised it off GOT's popularity.
Leo Robinson
So how many Redguards will be in TES6?
Will The King/Queen be Half-Redguard?
Parker Smith
>tes6 will for sure will be in hamemrfell? Is this a meme? Hammerfell has been the least touched region in most of the Elderscrolls games. So the company thought it would be a good idea to finally get around to addressing it. But hammerfell isn't the going to be the only region in the next game as that whole region is mostly just a literal desert.
I hope the Thalmor becomes the new empire. The oppressive regime troupe is fucking done to death.
Luis Richardson
>he didn't see Bethesda's auto-oral diversity video at E3
Grayson Powell
Why would the Thalmor do anything but reinforce that trope?
Cameron Taylor
People have been predicting hammerfell to be next long before black panther came out
Julian Moore
>that whole region is mostly just a literal desert Which Bethesda will promptly ignore, just like the jungles of Cyrodil, or Skyrim being covered in snow. They're incapable of accurately representing a shared culture or sensible environment, because they require that each "section" of that province be it's own biome.
Lucas Butler
Thats worse
Luke Peterson
Its funny how the elder scrolls has some of the most surreal lore in mainstream vidya, yet the games themselves tend to be pretty mundane, morrowind aside
Samuel Wood
The Thalmor are literally an oppressive regime hell-bent on genociding 99% of the world. Even the non-mages Altmers in the Skyrim embassy talk about how they hate their pompous ass.
Kevin James
Hammerfell is easy to remember and sounds sort of cool. Highrock would be a pretty dumb name for a game.
Liam Lopez
I want it so Thalmor become the major force and everyone has to deal with it. Any rebellion shit gets fucking crushed.
Lincoln Powell
You realize such a power balance would literally lead to the end of the world right? That's the thalmor's primary goal
Jason Lewis
Since when? all I got that they wanted to end the worship of a false god
Noah Long
based and blackpilled
Ethan Wilson
Yeah, but those predictions were 100% baseless.
Joseph Lee
Redguard was literally Todd's first TES game as the project leader, Daggerfall was the game that put Bethesda in the spotlight, it makes total sense on revisiting that area.
They're 100% making an Elder Scrolls game set in the Iliac Bay, how much will be High Rock and how much will be Hammerfell however is another matter.
Imagine being so brainwashed by /pol/ and reddit that you swear off a game because a black guy is in it
Enjoy sitting in your mom's basement not playing video games. Wait until I tell you that Mario is a Terrone.
I like to play video games.
Henry Phillips
Black Marsh is the least touched in the series. Hammerfell has already had a game set there. It was just the shitty adventure game but still.
Jordan Morales
>I like to play video games. Me too. It's shallow and hamfisted propaganda made to cynically appeal to morons that I don't care for.
Luis Allen
Just because Daggerfall included High Rock and Hammerfell, doesn't mean the two provinces are bound to be presented together until the end of time you brainlets. It's just Hammerfell.
Sebastian Cox
Just do the whole Iliac bay region (both highrock and hammerfell), including Wrothgarian mountains, bangkorai, port hunding etc. You can get a hugely diverse area, with piratey shit down south, nord shit out north east, reachmen inbetween, you get that anglo high fantasy shit in high rock and you get the whole wakanda appeal in hammerfell. Everyones happy...
also stop saying "its been done" in reference to the first two games, that's fucking retarded because it all looked like youtube.com/watch?v=jTC2KyBn5rw
Asher Collins
I don't know if they'd completely go over their own work like that though. High Rock would be a cool place to do and works well as an isolated peninsula, but it seems weird to just do the Lilac Bay again when there's like half of Tamriel which hasn't been seen in a mainline TES game (not counting Arena).
Benjamin Wilson
They are trying to unravel the fabric of reality so the mer can ascend to a higher plane of existence. This would also have the added side effect of killing all non-mer.
Banning Talos worship is one step towards that goal. They are fully aware that Talos is a real god, but by banning worship of Talos, they cut off his power supply I believe, which will eventually remove his godhood, which would make nirn more unstable. I think that's how that went anyway
Christopher Miller
Imagine being such a corporate cuckold that you'll invest in things diametrically opposed to your own principles just to sink time into something instead of working on yourself. Imagine then going onto a video games forum and projecting your own sad, NEET lifestyle onto those around you.
elves are the true WE WUZ WE WUZ GODZ N SHIET. meanwhile all the normal races are totally cool worshipping the true god lorkhan
Tyler Clark
>They are trying to unravel the fabric of reality dumb fanon fanfic, they're just an evil conqueror trope
Brody Anderson
I dunno about unravelling reality, but they are trying to make themselves gods
Ian Martinez
Idk about the unravel reality, but they do believe that worshippers of Talos are basically worshipping Lorkhan (or Shor) which is something that Akatosh or "Auri-El" would be pretty pissed about. They believe I think that they'd basically be cosmically one with the Gods or some shit if Lorkhan didn't trick the Aedra into creating nirn. I really don't know the AD or the Thalmor's actual intention but all that shit is for real about altmer being super anti-Shezzarine.
Matthew Ortiz
>You can find old forum posts from him claiming that he wanted to create powerful niggers who colonised instead of being conquered. That's not what he said at all. That's how the Redguards were before he even started writing for TES with the game Redguard. The post you're talking about was his commentary on the already established lore for them from Daggerfall and how he found the fact that the black race in TES were invaders from a foreign empire to be new and cool at the time, so he took it and ran with it. What he DID do that's been toned down since was emphasize the nigger part by giving them an african inspired pantheon and not expanding on any of the samurai-esque stuff from those same Daggerfall books.
Brandon Reed
An entire elder scrolls game set in a shitty swamp would be interesting but probably not very fun
Oliver Hughes
Since forever, their main goal is to end Mundus so they can leave their mortal form and go back to being the spiritual beings they were before Lorkhan trapped everyone after creation.
Talos is one of the "anchors" that hold the world together as are the Towers around Tamriel, all the TES games have them as the primary focus of the game, Skyrim deals with the Snow-Throat and the prophecy of the dragonborn and so on.
John Gonzalez
It's not. Leyawiin is part of blackmarsh... Elsweyr and Valenwood is.
Ayden Rogers
>dumb fanon fanfic, they're just an evil conqueror trope
Not really. Read the fucking in-game books
Jaxson Bailey
redguard has been done twice before and begs the question as to why they go there again when Summerset exists.
Carson Parker
why read the in-game books when you can accuse people of autism on the internet allwhile oblivious to the irony of it.
Christopher Gray
Then it is already better than Hammerfell as a setting.
Carson Bailey
wouldn't have to be entirely swamp could have some of elsweyr and mainland morrowind in there
Matthew Miller
Leyawin is part of Cyrodil that borders Black Marsh. That is like saying Bruma is part of Skyrim.
Jackson Scott
Everything points to Illiac Bay again, the geography is all fucked up from the Warp of the West, none of the other regions match the grass and hills climate either.
Jayden Carter
Elsewhere and Valenwood each have expansions for the MMO.
Jeremiah Peterson
>browse Yea Forums >has principles TOP FUCKING KEK
Levi Green
Most of the end reality stuff comes from MKs fan fics. Any mention to it in game is oblique at best.
Anthony Mitchell
Redguards are boring??? Why not high rock???? LOL. Dude, the Ra Gada slaughtered pretty much everyone they came across in Volenfell. Bretons, Orcs, Nedes... didn't matter what race. They sailed in and took EVERYTHING they wanted.
If they had wanted High Rock, they'd have taken that too, along with the women there. Guarantee you them Breton manlets were shitting their pants, praying to their gods the black men from Yokuda don't set their eyes on them next.
Tell me a more badass race of men than that. I dare you. It ain't the fucking Bretons, that's for sure. No race or province in Tamriel can beat a united hammerfell in battle, that's a fucking fact. Even the Dwemer would've gotten it.
Nicholas Stewart
cyrodiil's climate doesn't match that of a jungle, but here we are, retreading the same talking points over and over.
Daniel Sanchez
Leyawiin was part of "cyrodiil" only during the third era. Cyrodiil is just the niben valley on the west side and the westweald and gold coast (stuff north of strid river). Leyawiin is essentially an imperial colony in blackmarsh.
Aiden Johnson
I can't believe how fucking long it took me to realize that elsweyr was elsewhere
Helps that i had been pronouncing it as elseweer for some reason
Logan Taylor
So has... Blackmarsh. Blackmarsh has two zones........
Caleb Reed
So now that ESO has flipped and decided it's going to be a shitshow, do we have any kind of date on this?
Julian Edwards
Did you seriously think Bethesda is willing to put in the effort required for Valenwood, Elsweyr, Black Marsh or Summerset?
Charles Torres
Why is ESO a shitshow? Are you mad autist that you have to go back into maelstrom? Or did your cheeseblade get nerfed in pvp...
Wyatt Smith
literally all of valenwood is in eso. and elsewyr is going to be complete later this year. black marsh has barely 50% coverage
Jose Lewis
Honestly if they want to even go that far they should've chosen Orsinium, which actually had a history of being fucked multiple times over.
Leo Ramirez
There is only one tower left and it's sitting in the Iliac Bay.
Luis Reyes
Based on what moron? The inaccurate ingame map? Blackmarsh has two zones and a huge questline. Idk why you're so preoccupied with the squarefootage of explorable territory, it's also in TES4, Leyawiin decidedly counts.
Parker Richardson
They didn't need to make Skyrim because Bruma was good enough? Don't be a dumbass.
Julian Cooper
I dont get it skyrim came out before ESO.
Jason Thomas
>patch decided to turn literally everyone homogenized even further, when all dps do the same thing anyways >new combat lead is terrible >crown store becoming more obnoxious >only a handful of gear considered good >introduction of paid skill lines >elseweyr is literally half a dlc >sub mandatory if you play the game seriously, yet still they'll stuff paid "cosmetics" at you ad nauseam, shown at login >classes now have literally no point >healers nerfed into a dps meta >pay for the other half of elseweyr goy
I see sunk cost fallacy has gotten you, so you'd rather project.
Joshua Smith
>valenwood 3 zones, full coverage, all base game >elsweyr has a chapter all to itself, with further dlc later this year completing the region >black marsh 1 base game zone, 1 dlc zone, 1 sliver of completely unimportant land in oblivion
it's the least touched of those three
Brody Phillips
It's fucking sad
ESO was so different for so long, now they're set on being literally worse than everyone.
Tyler Morris
I pay for ESO Plus so I don't have this "BUY OTHER HALF" problem, you know because like every MMO, you should pay a monthly fee. What platform do you play on?
Gavin Kelly
Black Marsh was also the first addition to the MMO. Possibility. Bethesda told them to do this province first to get it out of the way because it is the setting of TES 6.
All expansions are fairly expansive in ESO except the Black Marsh one.
All these autists measuring the angle of the shadows and making grand proclamations it will be X province. It is going to be Black Marsh and you will love it.
Ian Rogers
Bethesda seems content on following most of MK's Tower plotline even if he left the company eons ago, so it's understandable if people also consider the Thalmor subplot to also go with it since both complement each other.
The fact that even in Skyrim, the most normalfag TES game yet, there's outright mention of the Towers in the first 10 minutes of the game and the Thalmor are determined to erase Talos from history should make any lorefag at least aware of the metaphysics, even if Bethesda has yet to confirm its canon status (if you don't count the MMO as canon)
Joshua Cook
Too bad they're all fucking terrible Black marsh has literally 8 story quests, valenwood is in the desperately needing a rework base game, and elsweyr they split in half to make you buy twice and has like, maybe a week's worth of content might as well not exist >I cuck for a sub, which allows ZOS to keep putting out worse shit but it's ok because if I pay 15 dollars a month i'll get another 8 quest dlc for free
Why isn't the sub mandatory? Oh wait, so they can make money off the crown store. Fucking puppet.
Austin Hernandez
God forbid they have a business model.
Tyler Garcia
>like every other mmo, you pay a monthly fee No, ESO markets itself as b2p but keeps a sub option to fool fuckers like you into paying literally hundreds for shit content, while also making money off of people who need to buy the dlcs individually. You fell for it.
Bentley Hall
>outrageously Jewish shit >I- it's a business model!
Holy fucking shit
David Myers
The crown store is egregious I grant you; but paying a monthly fee for a regularly updated MMORPG is pretty reasonable.
Dominic Myers
Good goy! So why not make it simply, p2p? Like other anons have told you, it's so they can fleece money both ways. My little user cannot be this naive.
Christian James
>regularly updated >two expansions a year and a handful of DLC dungeons that never even have any worthwhile gear; ie tank meta in ESO hasnt changed for years Nobody tell him about GW2 or even ff.
Benjamin Sanders
I don't get it; I don't feel fleeced, I enjoy the DLC dungeons and the PVE content, I just wish they'd add some new PVP content (not just dumb daedra weapons on cyro) nothing PVP since Imp City.
James Nelson
>I don't feel fleeced That's what they're counting on, literal paypigs like you. Really, 2 dungeons every 3 months and expansions that you can finish in a week are worth it? While, as you say, ignoring an entire half of the game?
Are you an actual shill because seriously user go count up how much a sub actually costs. Monthly subs should grant monthly content and it doesnt.
Leo Myers
How much you wanna bet I'm way more well-versed than you, on how many worthwhile sets there are for both PVE and PVP. I don't really understand why people complain about a lack of content when they don't have any content completed. Get /any trial skin/ outside of sunspire and come back to me.
Austin Hughes
Jesus Christ I didn't want to stoop to this but jeez man is $15 that much to you? I spend more on twitch subs than on ESO.
Jace King
More supporting Black Marsh. There is a large crater with an Imperial fort next to it. Many have thought this is Volenfell but according to all available lore it Volen did not land near the coast. Unless they retcon it this it is not Volenfell.
What event could cause such a large crater to be formed? The eruption of Red Mountain comes to mind. The fort also appears to be of a different style than existing Imperial forts. More oblong in design than previous iterations. Could just be a new take on the design or it w built recently to study the fallout from Red Mountain.
In the background there is a city on the coast. If it is Black Marsh it could be Tear.
Anthony Sullivan
Here comes the projection because you're a literal fucking paypig and hot upset when someone called it out. 80% of trial sets are worthless, classes are homogenized garbage, expansions are steadily getting worse (really, tell me blackmarsh/elseweyr were as good as vvardenfell or orsinium) and you're paying for it. Sunk cost fallacy creates you. >I know more than you! Fucking hell
Anthony Young
The game is not even in the idea phase. Why bother?
Jacob Allen
>You don't want to pay 15 bucks a month for nothing?! This is how I know I'm richer than you.
Jace Young
yeah yeah we get it you browse /pol/ and you hate niggers
great thread chief 10/10
Nicholas Moore
They hint at it to be sure. It doesn't affect the games in any tangible way. A few offhand mentions here and there to give the C0DAcrowd a sense of validation and they are good.
Brayden Robinson
>muh /pol/ boogeyman
Christopher Thomas
Defending a F2P business model in a B2P game. You deserve every bit of ridicule you get.
Landon Stewart
>boring Hammerfell is HUGE and interesting.
Joshua Ward
oh sorry
yeah yeah, we get it, you're a racist and you hate niggers
great thread chief 10/10
i didn't mean to say your name so everyone could hear it, sorry bro
Blake Myers
What?? Lol have you ever DPS'd in any other MMO? All classes are the same, at least in ESO you have Mag and Stam. There are two classes, in a nutshell for DPS, and then there is one class for healer and tank; because by and large your role is more important than your class in a trial. This isn't a new concept. It was always that way, only difference is the proc-sets they've added actually did away with some diversity in DPS (stam dps) because you needed a stamplar back in the day for the minor fracture. I don't understand what your deal is. Go play Monster Hunter dude, obviously you're a thumbless angry boy.
Of course it's in the idea phase, you fucking idiot. That's what pre-production is. >Why bother? At least you got one thing right. It's amazing Bethesda hasn't been torn to shreds over their failure to show Starfield yet. These stupid fucking chimps will just eat up everything The Toddler puts out.
Brayden Young
Did it with oblivion too when lotr came out. I could care less where the setting is as long as creation club shit isnt in again.
Jacob Cox
>t. I watch BLACKED.com
Leo Brown
>this entire post Go feed ZOS your money, piggy. They're counting on you!
Leo Allen
It's not nothing you see.. ... it's a video game, those usually cost money.... you see..
Alexander Jenkins
Girls, girls, can't we stop bickering for a moment and just agree for a moment that everyone who plays or cares about the MMO is a cuck?
Wyatt Hill
>Of course it's in the idea phase, you fucking idiot. That's what pre-production is.
Any information on that ass-pulling of yours? Bethesda is still pretty deep into fixing the 76 mess.
John Robinson
You would have thought Bethesda would have learned from CP2077 and kept to the practice of announce and release in six months. They are dragging it out and killing hype just like 2077.
Dominic Jones
Reply to it actually, you're not gonna win just buy going >lol this guy so dumb right guys? >(you) yea totally! >(you) i concur >(you) (you) (you) what they said!

Camden Rogers
>just pay, but they'll also sell you it in game! just do something else during dead months so this is the ppwer...of battered housewife syndrome...
Daniel Gutierrez
why would you ever argue with anyone on Yea Forums anymore
why even bother, once you get anywhere close to right they'll just catchphrase you for (you)s until the thread dies
the trick to this place now is just try your hardest to ignore the kind of people who would spend their entire day on this website saying "dilate" and "cope"
Jordan Ortiz
Cancel Fallout 76 for the DOVANNIGA!
Aiden Morales
I'm not the only one who's told you you're an absolute goy, and you'd rather project and pay than come up with anything. >y- you're just samefagging You wish.
Dylan Sanders
They are like abused spouses defending their abuser at this point. They actually believe it is their fault they are getting their ass beat.
The Redguards aren't niggers since they are somehow civilized
Jayden Lee
You should watch the E3 conference from 2018 again. Todd was visibly nervous the entire time. The Starfield and TES6 teasers were obviously made last minute to pre-emptively damage-control/placate single-player fans. durrrrhurrrrrr try not being braindead, my dude pcgamer.com/bethesdas-starfield-is-playable-elder-scrolls-6-is-in-pre-production-says-todd-howard/ Tangential: Bethesda has grown quite a bit over the last few years, made some acquisitions. 76 isn't being made by the big boys in Maryland. I accept your apology in advance, you have no (You) debt to repay.
Zachary Gonzalez
have you completed VMOL even? If not; then they've served content enough to justify charging money. There's a DLC every quarter dude, so it's roughly $45 for a DLC that generally comes with a zone or two dungeons, 3-6 (or more) new gear sets, quest-lines. I don't see the issue.
Luke Nelson
>MMO cucks Your genre is dead and defending it is sad.
They announced Starfield and TESVI for the purposes of damage control. The videos are so short because they were put out at last minute as Bethesda realized the massive online backlash to FO76 leaks.
>Elder Scrolls 6 is a very, very long way away, and if this battle is anything to go by, then the ride to get there certainly isn’t going to be an easy one. Youtuber Skullzi TV has spotted that BookBreeze.com is opposing the Redfall trademark application against ZeniMax Media (i.e. the owners of Bethesda Game Studios) over their attempt to trademark the term ‘Redfall’. Ok, that might sound about as exciting as a minor plot point in Law and Order, but I spoke to our legal team and turns out it’s when you dig into the trial dates via the United States Trademark and Patent Office that things get interesting.
The squabble over the name Redfall is where the belief that Hammerfell is the next province comes from.
James Brown
It's always funny to see that the second most popular interracial relationship in skyrim are redguard females and nord males
Benjamin Adams
Have you considered the fact that you might be, a goy?
Easton Turner
>/pol/
Dude I hated niggers before the internet. Stop blaming boogeymen.
Jason Smith
I am a goy. So are a lot of people at ZOS. It's a pretty dumb routine, I'm not gonna call it /pol/, I'm fine supporting a game I like and you can call me what ever you'd like.
You're a racist. You're not just a racist, but you're obsessed with skin color, so much so that it affects your interactions with people.
The only acceptable place for you to exist is on places like Yea Forums now, and so you electionfags will constantly, now and forever, spend the rest of your lives being racist in every single conversation you have.
It's weird, but it's really become like the grass on the lawn, I just expect you and your kind to always be floating around waiting for your cue.
Oh, melanin? Better warm up the N key!
Matthew King
Good job, admitted goy paypiggy! >my little user can't be this naive Apparently they can, and like it
The first 76 leak was on Restera three days before E3 when someone who had shared leaks before said "You would fall out of your chair" They must have some incredibly fast artists.
Adrian Harris
>redguards >niggers I fucking hate you stupid faggots that don't know anything beyond Skyrim.
>HELP I CANT RELATE TO THIS CHARACTER Yea Forums is literally the new sjws
Cooper Myers
"I mean, I've never paid for it or played it personally but a bunch of people online told me, so that makes you a cuck!"
Jesus Christ, you "not-POL" types are not only exhausting but incredibly petty and stupid.
Carter Lopez
You think Bethesda didn't already know it was a gamble? They had never done a multiplayer game before, and they had to know the sorts of problems that would be in the release version were already present. Friendly reminder Starfield's teaser was literally just SPAAACE while TES6's was a nondescript coastal area.
Anthony Richardson
Oh goy means cuck now. If what you guys are asking is; am I gonna boycott a game I like because I find the content insufficient; the answer is no....
Brayden Garcia
Projection can't save you, you've already admitted you're just a good goy.
Liam Kelly
That wasn't even me; see unlike you I'm not the same guy as everyone who agrees with me.
Ian Cook
Everybody knows you're sucking it and paying for it, user.
Isaiah Jackson
I'm not even that guy, I simply read your conversation.
Doesn't your brain have a setting that isn't "jews and niggers"?
Isaiah Hughes
The idea of Ra Gada conquers murdering, pillaging, and raping orc, breton, and nedic women is kinda hot. I wonder how far they took it. Did they tie up orc men and force them to watch as their orc women were being passed around, sucking and fucking big fat black curved Ra Gada cock. I wonder what happened to the many rape babies produced by these black warriors from Yokuda. Fuck this is hot.
Bethesda Conference was June 10th at the end of the day
Jack Baker
Nothing matters to a /pol/cel, it's the thrill of the argument. Everything in life comes up to that one point where you finally get to pivot to "nigger", "tranny", or some variation on "jew."
Julian Rodriguez
>Everyone saying it's gonna be so dumbed down Skyrim was massively successful and they've just had a huge experimental flop in Fallout 76. It's gonna be the exact same as Skyrim, just somewhere else. Safe, easy to make and it's gonna give them a shitton of money.
Parker Myers
I do not think you are following the discussion that is going on. If you are just dropping random thoughts well thanks for trying to add something to the conversation.
Mason Wood
Does everybody just read one post and decide they must respond? I know redding is teh hard but a little effort folks.
Colton Gray
Retards take the races at face value, which is fucking stupid. Redguards aren't the best race, but they're still really fucking neat for the shit that they've done in the lore. But dipshits like OP just go "hurr is niggur" because they don't care.
Jeremiah Murphy
Hello, samefag retard. The 76 leak that got public attention was on May 30th, the conference was on June 10th. archive.is/czlRW

The ancestors of the altmer were divine
Brandon Hughes
>The bulk of these refugees landed at the uninhabited isle of Herne, while the rest continued on to the mainland. This vanguard "warrior wave" of Yokudans, the Ra Gada, swept into the country, quickly slaughtering and enslaving the beastfolk and Nedic villagers before them, bloodily paving the way for their people who waited at Herne, including the Na-Totambu, their kings and ruling bodies.
Its implied that the Redguard warriors kept the original inhabitants of hammerfell as sex slaves. I suspect on initial contact, any fertile white nedic village woman or girl they captured were most likely repeatedly gang raped. Same for the Orc women and girls. And any brood that these enslaved women and girls produced was probably absorbed into the Redguard's warrior class to increase their ranks.
Henry Smith
the ancestors of every race were divine.....
Matthew Morales
What's funny about that, user? You don't think everyone is as pathetic as yourself, do you?
Jack James
>t. I'm a frequent visitor of blacked.com.

>reddit spacing >clearly projecting Enjoy never having racist banter with your friends, the world outside of your media bubble is a scary place.
Evan Taylor
So they had what a week instead of three days to come up with a trailer for two games to deal with the backlash? Was there even any backlash prior to it being revealed to be a survival lite game. Do try to keep up with what is being discussed.
Benjamin Powell
what's with Stealth Archery?
Xavier Jenkins
What are they doing to that old lady?
Logan Rogers
Everyone and their mother plays a stealth archer at some point and it's the most overpowered combination. t. someone who thought crouching and using a bow was intuitive when I began, but soon realised enemies would never be alerted to my presence and charge towards me - leaving me as a stealth sniper having no fun
Grayson Cook
Sharing body heat to save her because the climate in Skyrim is very cold
Jaxon Jenkins
The Elder Scrolls is the most popular, mainstream WRPG series in the world. They can't do anything too weird that will jeopardize their sales; Hammerfell is the most normal region they haven't done already and would allow them to build on the hyper masculine I AM THE DRAGONBORN XD marketing of Skyrim.
Bentley Morgan
Kirkbride based Redguards on the black panthers and "black power."
Meanwhile in ESO they're fleshing out the Khajiit furstocks so that there are housecat wizards, 18ft panthers and skooma addicted tigers. All of these are sapient.
Jonathan Peterson
I disagree with this to a degree. Sure, the Redguards probably ravaged the nedic women but I doubt they had to force themselves onto the orc women. The orcs respect power and strength, so if anything, once the orc women saw their men slaughtered on the battlefield, they probably were happy to offer themselves to the Redguard troops and to produce strong warriors for them.
Bentley Scott
Poor Gil-Var-Delle, we still recall.
Parker Perry
If they are doing Hammerfell may as well bring him back and put the final nail in the TES coffin.
Jonathan Martinez
11 days to make two short videos, one that shows nothing but the model of some sort of spacecraft and the other that shows nothing but random terrain from a game in pre-production.
Charles Rogers
TES 6: Hammerfell is going to be pretty wizard. And by wizard, I mean amazingly non-wizarding. Just like in Skyrim, we won't have to use faggy spells. In Skyrim we could supplement the noble blade with shouts. In Hammerfall we can supplement the noble blade WITH EVEN MORE NOBLE MAGICAL SPIRIT BLADES!
Sure sure the outrage started the second the article came out. They contracted it out 5 minutes later story boarded it in 10 minutes an hour or two to animate the scene. Grabbed an orchestra off the corner had them whip up a score and record it in an hour.30 minutes of post production and boom you have a trailer to show at E3.
You have no idea how things work in the real world do you?
Connor Jackson
He's already ruined Vivec by projecting his own self-insert fantasies onto him, the best parts of the lore are the parts he left untouched.
Owen Lewis
Mk is one of the best things to happen toTES and also one of the worst things to happen to TES. When he is good he is very good. When he is bad he is very bad.
Ryder Rivera

Joseph Campbell
>He did it with skyrim when he intentionally advertised it off GOT's popularity.
I don't think they slapped Skyrim together in less than a year, user.

You can tell the big nigger behind her just shoved his bbc up her ass. That's why she is straining like that.
Bentley Mitchell
I'd be up for a desert adventure in fantasy Not-Egypt with tombs and oases and shit. sounds a lot less depressing than something like Argonia and you wouldn't get nearly the fur-faggotry of an Elsweyr game.
Robert Jones
this. There is enough lore about black marsh to know that it wouldn't be a good game
Alexander Allen
>Not-Egypt with tombs more draugr shit, great.
Jonathan Ward
they have to start a new lore in Akavir it would be a new land that we know nothing about and they can do whatever they want. or they can go back in time to the First/Merethic Era, with large amount of races, creatures there is. history of tamriel is better than the stories of main games it self
Levi Carter
thanks حبيبي
Gavin Cruz
what we honestly need is another game that is similar in story to fucking oblivion. It just builds up to you being invaded by beings from another realm. but instead of another realm how about akavir or some shit. skyrims whole time and dragon thing was 'cool' but it's been done countless times over by other series
Jason Ross
I want Cyrodiil.
Cameron Reed
Hammerfell is most likely. Easier to do the land and humans. Doing a beast race homeland would mean they either shit on the lore or have to do a lot of extra work.
Nolan White
>shit on the lore no game has done the lore service since morrowind
Evan Nelson
The teaser made me think High Rock, but it's so generic that it could be a few provinces
Chase Jones
You must not know a lot about black marsh.
Jack Barnes
>implying this will ever come out >when it does it will be riddled with horrible bugs, dlc, microtransactions, more dumbed down shit even from skyrim
Andrew Sanchez
It really wouldn't surprise me if this is literally just a continuation of Skyrim's thalmor arc considering woke muslim nigs are fighting the dominion. Hell if they're lazy enough (which they are) they probably won't even go into detail about a canon ending to the civil war. Skyrim's story is fucked from the start anyway because the dragonborn becomes emperor by birthright, yet these assholes are still arguing over who gets to play high king/plotting the assassination of the standing emperor in the hopes of political gain.
Mason Ramirez
I know plenty about Argonians and Black Marsh. They could easily write in some bullshit like the Hist give you some magic macguffin that allows non-Argonians to survive most of BM. But Argonians have different types as well and not just lizard man or lizard man with beast legs which is a big reason Bethesda won't go to Black Marsh or Elswyr.
Nicholas Rogers
Redguards hate magic, you idiot. More bandits.
Andrew Bennett
It could just be set during/after another imperial expedition of it.
Landon Brown
i was thinking the exact same thing about the hist holy shit
Gabriel Green
I'm hopeful. Could potentially have High Rock to keep the game entertaining. Plus, they said part of why it's taking so long is because they are waiting for tech to catch up to the project goals. Now, I'm sure that means they just want pretty ray-traced desert sand, BUT, it could be mean that they want to add sailing?
Why Sailing? Well between Oblivion and Skyrim, the capital of High Rock, Wayrest, was sacked and became a pirate haven. The entire Iliac bay is rife with piracy. Assassin's Creed style sailing while fighting Thalmor? Please.
Nathan Turner
It takes a Bethesda game around 3 years to get made. If you’re implying the just showed a trailer in 2018 for a game to come out in 2021, I’d find that hard to believe.
Ian Hernandez
Which means every wannabe necromancer will have his own lair in some old ruin.
Colton Clark
Todd and Pete have confirmed TES6 isn't next, but Starfield. As multiple anons ITT, and every thread before it, have pointed out: those teasers were pre-emptive damage control. "Hey, single-player fans, we haven't forgotten about you!"
>Arabian BLM fighting Nazi Elves It writes itself.
Easton Richardson
Hammerfell. If the Africans in the game aren't tribal and have bone peircings and spears then Im not playing it.
Cameron Walker
In the TES 25th anniversary video Bethesda put out, when they are talking about using photogrammetry in TES6 to make it pretty (basically scanning real shit to use as game assets), they show images of people in some deserty location collecting data and models of that location in game. There's only two places in Tamriel that could be, either Hammerfell or Elsweyr. I really doubt they'll do Elsweyr, so Hammerfell is a shoe-in. Also fits the little teaser they put out.
>most people will play white characters >will still be portrayed as the hero of the region >widespread complaints about white saviorism even though it's the tradition of the game I wonder if they go full racial Western overtones or just in universe style racism. They will be prodded to make the game a modern social indictment once they confirm its hammer fall.
Luke White
Now give those rock formations a volcanic rock skin ,perhaps Rhyolite, and tell which province they would fit in?
Grayson Gomez
Personally, I haven't given up hope they'll revisit Illiac Bay. This is the same company that refused to put gaydar perks in after Obsidian did it. As normie as Bethesda is, I don't think they care about the SocJus narrative.
I guess that confirms it. Niggerfell it is, I guess that means i'm not buying it. Tired of western media preaching to me about blacks and pandering to them. What a waste though, highrock would've been an amazing setting for the game.
Jace Nguyen
>Boring hammerfell
Kek, if you have a bit more imagination than 4 years old child, Hammerfell is quite the opposite of boring. It's in fact the region of Tamriel with the most potential.
so does this mean bethesta will have the copy right to this 3d landscape?
Sebastian Howard
Considering Cuckbride wrote the Redguards into the setting as a black power fantasy it's likely that there'll be plenty of racial overtones that Bethesda will either 1) Be too cowardly to address and go along with the modern narrative or 2) Mess around with for the amusement of their predominant demographic
Jonathan Sullivan
I am ok with this. Make the game Black but don't arabize the African. Show their culture like you did for the Nordic and Italian. Have actual zulu insprised redgaurds, have somali pirate africans. Dont arabize them like in skyrim
Evan Campbell
This terrain screening tech they use only means they will have much bigger set pieces as models which are unusable for modding. Also modders will have problems creating models of their own that fit into the screened terrain. Modding will be gutted. Everything they revealed so far is pointing at this.
Benjamin Harris
Here's what High Rock looks like in the lore as an added bonus, because I've seen some people thinking the teaser they put out resembles High Rock somehow.
Morrowind? Would be cool but I doubt it. I think Bethesda will avoid the weirder provinces for marketability reasons. The fact Morrowind and Elsweyr (and Summerset Isles) were all big TESO expansions also makes me doubt them.
>not Arabian knights Shit taste. Take your shitty victorian stereotype and get lost.
Brayden Nguyen
I was thinking Back Marsh.
Nathan Jackson
>Hagia Sophia
Gavin Young
I beg your pardon, what? How does THIS look like Black marsh? are you batshit?
Grayson Perry
NOOOOOOOOO I HATE SAND MAPSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Luis Thomas
Enough. Give the African a game that has their culture not Arab turkish shit.
Liam Walker
Go full on ooga booga and get called racist? I would like tothink they are smart enough to not do that. Though their current track record does raise some doubt.
Andrew Parker
Hammerfell would be a fun setting if the Bethesda of days past made it. Swashbuckling pirate action with Jedi kang niggers sounds fun as fuck. But this is modern day Bethesda, so you just KNOW it’s gonna be a bunch of “woke” sjw type bullshit. It’d still be better than high rock though, but I’d really prefer a non-human province this time. I’m getting kind of tired of stock medieval Europe and I want something more weird and alien like morrowind was. A game in the summerset isles where you side with or against the thalmor would be top tier.
Owen Sanders
>I think Bethesda will avoid the weirder provinces for marketability reasons Or just change them. Remember when Cyrodiil was a jungle?
Caleb Watson
Have you ever visited the coastal areas of predominately jungle countries? Look at Thailand and Vietnams coast and come back and tell me what you saw.
Brandon Smith
Not him, but doubles avocado: it doesn't look like any province, it's a generic coastal landmass. Maybe the coast of Argonia isn't so bad? We know the Empire had outposts on the coast. Dribbles Avogadro number: I don't see any fucking outposts.
Benjamin Richardson
ircc the reason was because the engine/unfamiliarity with 7th gen.
Kevin Phillips
The one person I’ve ever seen kiss a dog on the mouth was a spic. And a dark skinned one at that
Robert Russell
just have Africans like they were in Africa with dense jungle, Savannah and desert with some African style mud castle. But I know they will go the lazy way and just have arabian knights with africans in turbans instead of their tradinal african tatoos, bone peircings, hair knots and bows.
why the fuck would you willingly go to thailand or vietnam
Dominic Wilson
Could the xbox even render enough grass and jungle ?? I remember people were worried when the xbox came out of over heating.
Xavier Wright
Old Bethesda had the woke crew. The new crew had the only canon gay couple in Skyrim get kicked out of Skyrim for their faggotry and laughed at by the dungmer that killed them for the same. You have no idea what you are talking about. MK was the big virtue signaller and he got shit canned long ago.
Cameron Walker
yeah a lot of people forget how shit the 360 was on launch. PS3 too to a lesser extent
Lucas Davis
>people are unironically giving bethesda money
Henry Harris
We were on deployment and didn't really have a say where the ships went. Thailand is an adult disneyland so don't knock it.
There was a girl that could squat down on a stack of coins and ask you how many you wanted. She would then stomp her foot and the numbers of coins you asked for would come out.
You don't know what you are missing.
Julian Hall
>On September 10, Zenimax, Bethesda's parent company, applied for a trademark entitled "Redfall" which mentions both console and PC platforms.
>The title is tantalizingly easy to connect to the Redguards, a race in the Elder Scrolls universe that inhabit Hammerfell.
>literally only connections are the color red and the "fall" possibly referring to Hammerfell >Empire's color is red and Bethesda has been signposting its total destruction since fucking Morrowind at least, please don't mock me oldfags Listen, it's obviously Hammerfell, but that journo's a lorelet.
Asher Perez
The teaser most closely resembles semi-arid environments you see around the Mediterranean, which I'd associate in TES with either Cyrodiil or Hammerfell. It look nothing like the coast of Vietnam.
More than anything, I want an Elder scrolls game where I am NOT "the chosen one"-Oblivion kiiiiiiiiiiind of did that by making martin the ultimate hero of the story, but you were still a figure of destiny. I want ot just be some random person in a vast world.
William Edwards
Teaser again. Arid, scrubby, rocky, some trees but not dense forests.
Sorry, but you will be the reincarnation of HoonDing and master Sword Singing like no other.
Adrian Bell
damn this guy just got a big fat bar of TOLDblerone
Brody Murphy
most potential for what? Sand and two tents?
Parker Price
> I have spent 30seconds googling and found nothing. I am not telepathic and can't show you my visits user. Improve your google fu. If you can show me a predominately desert nation that has coastal areas like that I will be surprised though.
Daniel Nelson
I always thought it would be cool to have the Dovahkiin as the hero in the next one and you as a person in control of their own destiny, as in - have the Dovahkiin in the region and supposedly doing things whereas you're free to do whatever you like. The main questline would be interwoven with the LDB of course, but for the bulk of the game you could just be some guy.
Nolan Gutierrez
I guess I was Swordborn all along...
Jayden Kelly
>most potential >a Byzantine building stolen by roaches, rocky deserts and camels WOooOOooowWWww
Christian Wilson
Press 'F' to Swordshout
Landon Ward
Syria is more mediterranean climate than desert.
Chase Kelly
High Rock is literally the most boring and generic province. Everyone likes to shit on Oblivion for being made generic but there's still High Rock, still not made interesting even after the updates to the lore. If you really prefer High Rock to Hammerfell you might actually be retarded.
Jamaican stoner cats are one trick ponies and the most interesting thing about the Bosmer is they exist.
Matthew Torres
They could never implement the walking trees right.
Anthony Scott
Falinesti hasn't moved since the Third Era.
Brody Martin
Reminder that Tod's statement years ago about the development of TES 6 and "the technology doesn't exist yet" is the implementation of ladders for Valenwood.
Parker Harris
The best example for it being Black Marsh if you are drawing real world parallels from the trailer is Madagascar.
Logan Fisher
LORELET DETECTED
Jaxson Martin
>player-made treehouse settlements >NPC pathfinding is STILL broken, so they can't climb the ladders I'd laugh pretty hard.
Samuel Taylor
Nigga what. Kirkbride nerfed them. Pre-Kirkbride Redguards were so disgustingly OP in the lore that they caused actual nuclear explosions because they spent their time swinging katanas that hard. The entire reason they colonized Hammerfell is because they pulled an Atlantis and sword-nuked their original homeland into the ocean.
The original Redguards were black anime-autists thrown into Middle-Earth.
Samuel Davis
How exactly is Bethesda suppose to continue doing Elder Scrolls games when Zenimax has already done 80% of the shit Bethesda hasn't? If they just copy them; buildings, architecture, towns and etc-wise then they'll be seen as lazy but if they don't then there's going to be a lot of continuity issues. It's only a matter of time before they finish the entirety of Cyrodiil and move onto Akivir. And even then they've already done plenty of daedric realms, clockwork city and other realms leaving Bethesda with nothing but scraps.
Ryder Allen
>but if they don't then there's going to be a lot of continuity issues Elder Scrolls games canon is more important than ESO canon so they can change anything they want
Aiden Kelly
That would imply it wouldn't take place in the past. Though I doubt it will. More likely its gonna happen some centuries after the events of skyrim.
If Bethesda were smart, they would set it a few decades after Skyrim and follow up the Thalmor/Empire angle that was already established. Valenwood and Elsweyr would be perfect for that, since they probably wouldn't want to reuse Cyrodiil.
Evan Hernandez
Because ESO and Legends are secondary to the actual TES games.
Kayden Edwards
Black Marsh is pretty wide open.
Austin Lopez
Black Marsh would also be a terrible setting.
Asher Martin
Yes and no. There's no possible way it could translate well to the usual RPG style TES has been doing, but going all in on survival and shit would be great.
Caleb Moore
ESO fags is Volenfell in the MMO? If so where is it on the map? The only thing mentioned in lore is the hammer landed in the south western desert of now Hammefell.
People should just cut their losses with this series already. The games just keep getting increasingly more shallow, dumbed down and boring. You guys know this.
Just play Daggerfall and Morrowind when you get the itch.
Josiah Flores
This, ater what bethesda shat out last time, I don't know what you're expecting It will be F4's level at best, except it will be a singeplayer game with microtransactions since you can't not have that now
Carter Ramirez
>deserts >mediterranean forests >jungles >savannas >shrublands >flood plains >tropical coastlines fuck that shit bring me back to the comfy imperial province
Grayson Torres
A D Day style invasion would be top tier.
Isaac Wright
>Daggerfall released 2 years after Arena >Morrowind released 6 years after Daggerfall >Oblivion released 4 years after Morrowind >Skyrim released 5 years after Oblivion >Skyrim is now 8 years old >They haven't even started making the next one yet and have no plans to start soon.
Just give up. tES6 isn't happening. Quit acting like it's going to come out.
Grayson Sullivan
TES VI will be set in AkaVIr
William Watson
Unironically suggesting Daggerfall? How fucking old are you gramps?
Brody Nelson
21
Blake Ward
I am so fucking pissed that they crammed the fucking creation club INSIDE the game instead of just fucking doing it like everyone else and keeping it on a website or they could've had a launcher with a mod browser, it was the worst god damn decision they could've made because now it's unavoidably right there in the fucking menu and shoving it's bloated arse around like they think it's the hottest shit around and I literally stopped playing F4 because it kept shoving it in my face like " OOH LOG INTO BETHESDA ACCOUNT TO USE THE CREATION CLUB BUT DON'T WORRY WE'LL STILL BLOAT YOUR INSTALL WITH A BUNCH OF FILES YOU'LL NEVER USE EVEN IF YOU DON'T PAY US FOR IT "
Jace Campbell
In that case get checked.I think you have a tumor.
Liam Murphy
So when is Numidium coming back?
Dylan Butler
Hammerfell is the only region left that could reasonably be made with gamebryo.
>kinda want to get into this series because the setting and lore seems super interesting >FO3 was the only Bethesda game I ever played and it bored me to tears
Evan Turner
What tickled you pickle about Daggerfall. The useless skills The bugs The abysmal NPC interaction The slide show tier attack animations.
By all means show me the chunk of corn in that turd. > It was ambitious So was the Titanic.
Tyler Moore
I thought 6 was going to be about the Akaviri invading
Cameron Phillips
It was a good RPG with challenging mechanics, which is more than you can say for Skyrim. Sorry, zoomer.
Nicholas Sullivan
Don't apologize for your shitty taste. You are the one that has to deal with it not me.
Landon Price
>skyrim is, like, soooo much better than daggerfall bro!
They're arabicized niggers. Like the ones in Sudan, Ethiopia, and west Africa.
Ryder Walker
How is it possible for people to think that the lore of the next TES is complex or addresses serious issues if Emil is the fucking writter?
The plot of that game will be disastrous. People who debate about which faction is better or worse, should keep in mind that all that dirt was thought by emil; That guy has talent in the ass.
A few weeks ago the old timers from the codex kept the Daggerfall thread up to hit the bump limit. Today they can't hit 40 replies. Now they are wandering into random TES threads.
This little raid from the codex is almost over. Just teasing the diehards.
Luke Morris
It'd be less 'has a black guy' and more '70% of everyone is a black guy.'
Bentley Young
>This would also have the added side effect of killing all non-mer. Men and Mer share common ancestry and are ultimately the same kind of being, they're just morons who think only they are special. The truth is though, that unraveling reality will kill them too.
Jonathan Bailey
The real question is How will Bethesda fuck it up? Redguards cut through and sunk their own continent with an atom splicing sword technique How are they going to inject their forced politics into the game?
>Redguards cut through and sunk their own continent with an atom splicing sword technique [citation needed]
Nathaniel Brooks
So Morrowind, then?
Zachary Brown
>download game last week >decide to try playing it today >gives me some vc error and throws this shit my way god damnit why its like they dont even want you to play their fucking game
honestly its ok cause the area is literally their homeland. who gives a shit.
Isaac Nguyen
They/Zenimax Online literally added a 37th Lesson of Vivec in TESO that makes direct c0da references. They absolutely want to use Kirkbride's lore, just in the laziest way possible.
Caleb Moore
>t. lorelet
Caleb Campbell
>Generic elf The fuck kind is she supposed to be?
Jaxon Robinson
It really is shit, just copy pasted areas.
Morrowind is and always will be better.
John Murphy
redguard are considered the highest qualified bladesmen in all of nirn.
the racially oppressed are the khajit and the argonians. why are you projecting your real life pathetic racial dogma onto a made up videogame?
Dylan Torres
Isn't Valenwood kinda bizarre with living tree fortresses that constantly move around?
did you ever glance at morrowind's subplot? nah you're just here to screech your sweet nothings
Kayden Sanchez
It's common knowledge in TES that redguard are pretty much nigger weebs, fags literally refined their weebery to the point they casually split fucking atoms with their swords. That's even how they nuked their home continent.
If you don't know the lore then stay out of tes threads retard.
Charles Morales
>Ugly transexuals begging to give you an STD >Adult Disneyland Man you fucking hate Disney.
Dylan Morales
It has never been portrayed as a jungle in game from Arena to ESO. Is it really a retcon if it has never been shown?
Eli Hughes
Play a fucking game for once in your life or get the fuck off my board
Henry Anderson
Morrowind was entirely about you NOT being the chosen one, but through your actions usurping that position. That was the entire point in fact.
Easton Peterson
>never played a TES game, or heard of them, before Skyrim >get skyrim almost half a year after release as a gift from someone >never look into the lore until now while finally replaying it feels good
Camden Myers
>Black people are notdrow It's okay in the sense that it makes sense, but it also is an element that's going to put a lot of people off. Not a lot of fun running around in dealing with blacks 24/7 as the only non-Redguard.
Eli Martin
Based.
Angel Diaz
But that's where Redguards are natively from, so obviously they're going to be mostly "black". Are you retarded?
Ethan Young
Which Daedric Prince should get the inevitable DLC focus for VI and why is it pic related?
Why did they do retcons in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim? In the first it was to make shit weirder, but the later two did it to make the games more normal and easy to digest by the lcd.
Thomas Sanchez
This is a thread for discussing TES. If you need a hugbox to feel safe try Redd*t or the RPG codex.
Play the game. The prophecy doesn't involve you. It's some random shit the Ashlanders made up and that the Imperials have been sending random prisoners to try and replicate hoping it works. Did you not see the cave of failed candidates? Did you not listen to the Ashlandes, to Vivec? You aren't the Nerevarine. You become him by copying the prophecy, by Mantling the role and Nerevar himself until you become them and they become you.
Henry Gutierrez
>This is a thread for discussing TES You're right and you should play one before discussing them.
>Cites one of the few people who gets legit paranoid about you seeking revenge instead of understanding what you really are, to discredit what you get told in the main plot
Liam White
I'd be willing to bet you money that 6 is going to contain references to TESO. Nevermind that Skyrim already references KINMUNE.
There's some good quests but it has generic mmo gameplay. Pretty much all the expansions are worth it if you're into the lore. Clockwork is especially good.
Dominic Ward
If you actually read the lore, you'd realize just how bizarre Hammerfell is and how amazing Redguard physical and arcane martial arts are, you underage ignoramus.
Angel Edwards
>Base games don't really focus on the weirder aspects of the lore >Pic related goes all out What did Todd mean by this?
It used the first letter of every sentence to spell out the C0DA website. That isn't the validation you think it is.
Xavier Lewis
>Direct lore references aren't validation reee I will never understand why you people are butthurt about the thing that contains a message about ignoring lore you don't like including itself and building your own canon.
Aaron Ortiz
This I got to hear. How does Skyrim reference kinume?
Connor Williams
His way of saying he still cares about lore fans
Andrew Rodriguez
>What did Todd mean by this? Look at every released since Oblivion, the DLC is leaps and bounds better than the base game
also basing an entire game off of a niche aspect of the lore would be retarded. expansions give a perfect opportunity to be a tourist to crazy and interesting aspects of the lore
Anthony Smith
Explain AMARANTH only using in game sources then.
Angel Harris
>If you actually read the lore, you'd realize just how bizarre Hammerfell is It's basically a generic desert with monsters. Kinda like fucking Fallout, actually. >Amazing Redguards are They're just Arabicized blacks. Head on down to South Sudan sometime. >physical and arcane The soul sword is a lost art, the same lore books you talk about say as much and include an account of an apprentice and one of the last practitioners getting killed.
Andrew Cooper
>Nevermind that Skyrim already references KINMUNE.
>Moving the goalposts What does that even have to do with what I posted?
Dylan King
Eye of Magnus. Its current location and real identity are in KINMUNE, and you see it in Skyrim.
Chase Lee
The real question is if swordsinging would be a mechanic, and if so how would it work?
Austin Carter
what era will finally produce guns in tes
Eli Barnes
I know this is probably a waste of time now, but I thought the new TES will be set in the Lilac Bay, that is, part of Daggerfall and part of Hammerfell rather then just one particular province again.
Parker Brooks
That'll be where the DLC takes place. Both Oblivion and Skyrim had DLCs that took place on islands.
Kayden Reyes
Hoo boy.
Henry Green
Hopefully like mordhau
Tyler Perry
This is a lore-accurate traditional redguard armor Say something nice about it
That sucks because I have the autistic habit of making all my characters as natives of the land the game is set in, and I don't want to make or control an arabnigger character.
Brandon Perez
You claimed I was ignoring lore.Well enlighten me on AMARANTH from in game sources.
They did the same thing with CHIM.It was mentioned once with no explanation, well there was but the in game lore on CHIM has nothing to do with fanfic CHIM, and MK built up a whole headcanon around it.
Andrew Carter
Just play as a jewish grey skinned elf supremacist like I usually do
James Bennett
>it isn't confirmed but *incomprehensible meme garbage* Okay then
Brandon Cox
You have absolutely no idea that will be the case. The only information we have from the teaser is a flyover of the Lilac Bay.
was mindlessly browsing the TES wiki when i learned about the semi-intelligent apes that populate valenwood and realized they could never set a game there today
Jayden Barnes
Yep, that's a weeb alright. >Dude what if they're arabs but black and also use metal fucking samurai armor in the desert and katanas for no reason
Ryder Wood
>Going full snake Not a fan. I prefer the lamia look.
Yes, Japanese-styled snake people with katanas. How does your post disagree with me, again?
Matthew Walker
Even TESO has them fuck off to another plane so they don't have to show them.
Jack Morris
Yep. You will start throwing out insults without answering a single question. So tell me have you figured out how CHIM being a secret syllable fits into fanfic CHIM yet?
Jaxson Evans
Reminder that the Left-Handed Elves were good guys and the Redguards are Lorkhan-hating retards like the Altmer.
Jayden Rodriguez
>Redguards are Lorkhan-hating retards like the Altmer. They have their own gods
Adrian Cruz
Nowadays? He has always done that.
Michael Garcia
do they do walking trees in TESO?
Camden Martin
no
Thomas Clark
So why does that guy have leg armor if they’re snakes?
Eli Adams
>nowadays. Did the whole Vivec getting raped for 8 days and impregnated fly under your radar?
Parker Price
Their gods are like most of the pantheons, a ton of them are a culture-named analog to a god in the Imperial or Elven pantheons. Their version of Lorkhan is called Sep.
Camden Martinez
I don't play ESO, but it's retarded and shits on a lot of the lore. That or it could be a Redguard, who as I said, are weebs.
Mason Harris
You are the first guy sended by the empire, the other failed Nerevarines were natives to morrowind I think and the procecy states that an outlander was DA CHOOSEN ONE
David Martinez
They have a new loremaster and they have jumped the shark at this point.
>They have a new loremaster and they have jumped the shark at this point. Tell me more.
Gavin Lewis
There are some anons that still believe it is. I think they have dumped so much money into at this point they will ride it to the bitter end.
Jace Walker
>I think And you think wrong. Go back and play it.
John Bell
Lemon Turtle is handling the new stuff. He is the one who changed it from Tiber CHIM RO DAHing the jungle away to the White Gold Tower being a geographical thermostat to make the current occupant comfy.
Chase King
>White Gold Tower being a geographical thermostat to make the current occupant comfy This is why the games always ignore the lore - the lore is fucking stupid.
Where the fuck did he even get that? Dumbass, the lore was that White-Gold was made to manipulate reality for the ultimate goal of destroying it.
Liam Scott
Literally all the failed incarnates are natives of morrowind and most of them are from the first -second - beginning of the third Era non of them are mentioned to be working with the empire or with Uriel septim elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Failed_Incarnate
Wyatt Ward
>White-Gold was made to manipulate reality for the ultimate goal of destroying it That's even worse
Good find. All that means is they only got involved with the last one, not that you were destined, though. Again, you need to actually listen to what the Ashlanders and Vivec told you. Literally the first thing the first Wise Woman you talk to says is "You are not the Nerevarine, you are merely someone who can become him."
Elijah Garcia
>forgetting about akavirs Come on guys
Christian Smith
You must hate Skyrim then, since that's the Thalmor's entire fucking goal. That's why they're fucking about with Towers.
>That's why they're fucking about with Towers. didn't Snow-throat deactivate itself when Alduin returned?
John King
>since that's the Thalmor's entire fucking goal Only in faggy redditor fanfic, it isn't mentioned, referenced, or even alluded to at all in the games.
Jaxon King
How many towers are even left at this point?
Grayson Ward
>Forgetting about Akavirs Not a thing. If you mean 'the Men of Akavir' their lore is that they were either eaten by or became the snake people. Unless this nigger is some long-dead ghost he's not one of them.
Oliver Reed
If it does take place there I will certainly be playing a Redguard. They are a good race with the best once a day power of any of the races by far.
Zachary Peterson
>with the best once a day power of any of the races by far. That's Nords, though.
Henry Butler
It’ll probably be a combination of hammerfell and high rock
Jeremiah Hughes
I'm not actually sure how Snow-Throat was disabled. But deactivating them all is indeed the Thalmor's goal. I think only Ada-Mantia and Walk-Brass are still active.
Joshua Torres
TESVI will mostly likely take place in Hammerfell, High Rock, Orsinium and The Reach
I'm hoping its this so I can hang out in High Rock and bang nymphs and lamias all day.
Cooper Rogers
They're French
Justin Walker
to be fair most sand/desert areas in vidya are super shit
Cooper Parker
That's not Orcs or Argonians.
>Orcs get retard damage >Argonians effectively become invincible
Connor Perry
Speaking of, the Thalmor trying to take out the Adamantine Tower is an extremely good argument for I'd kill for a heavy focus on Orsinium.
Eli Hughes
No one ever talks about the possibility of "Redfall" regarding Red Mountain and the rebuilding of Morrowind.
I can very easily seeing TES6 headed back to Vvardenfell, the mainland of Morrowind, and Black Marsh, with the story dealing with the tense relationship between the two races after the explosion of Red Mountain.
Cameron Moore
>But deactivating them all is indeed the Thalmor's goal. good luck considering Walk-Brass walks in and out existence on it's own will
Camden Morris
Idiot
Gabriel Flores
Do any lorefags know exactly what Alduin ending the kalpa would look like?
Liam Hughes
The lore on it is that them deactivating Ada-Mantia calls Walk-Brass back and he's pissed and genocides all of them while ruining Nirn, so everyone except the Altmer flees to the moons where the Khajiit have set up a backup tower and colony cities already for this purpose.
Jonathan Wright
It's a possibility but I really doubt it since they'd be worried about pissing off morrowindfags
Jace Peterson
The more he eats the stronger he gets. If you mean how does it look, then I can't give you a visual, but he more or less consumed all of Mundus before it gets reborn and all souls transmigrated over to it. It being a new thing means that things won't necessarily develop the same, however, and everything from the lands to the races will work differently.
Juan Scott
The towers were created to bolster reality with the end goal to destroy reality. Makes sense if you don't think about it.
I think Bethesda is going to have to pull a Tactics on ESO and say the high level events are canon and nothing else.
Christian Williams
You don't think going back to Morrowind after all these years wouldn't be the thing that makes Bethesda the most amount of money? Not only do nostalgiafags buy it just to see what they did to it, but the Skyrim kiddies get a chance to then become Morrowindfags themselves. All the while Todd Howard replaces Jeff Bezos as the richest man on Earth.
Redfall.
Caleb Bailey
Or they could just declare ESO, as a whole, non-canon.
Anthony Rivera
>that makes Bethesda the most amount of money? they refuse to Remaster 3 and NV
Liam Mitchell
>Make tower while reality is new and easier to manipulate so you can control reality and gain power while working to figure out how to unmake it >When it comes time to turn it off it'll be easy since you're in control of it Then Men rushed in and took over half of them, then other Mer splintered off and started defending their own towers too.
Eli Baker
>D-Day style invasion >in a Bethesda game So what, like 30 npcs max running at each other in an empty feild?
Austin Robinson
That is hinted at inexactly one conversation. When you talk to Esbern about Alduin and the Thalmor he says something along the lines of "They don't want the world to end either ,well not that way"
If there are any I missed by all means enlighten me.
Jose Gonzalez
Kek
David Walker
>playing special edition skyrim >forced to have the 'start Dragonborn DLC' quest early on >ignore it for literal weeks >now thieves guild gives radiant quest taking place there just fuck off would you
Bentley Powell
I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but nobody wants that. Elder Scrolls is leagues more popular that Fallout ever has been or ever will be and if they put precious development time and dollars into that instead of going back to Morrowind, they may as well sell themselves to EA.
Aaron Bell
I think they tell you that because they know the history of the failed incarnates and how they failed, so they won't put their hands on the fire for another literraly who claiming to be lord nerevar reincarnation but as you advance it seems that you are the one of the procecy. It's actually very possible that you are the choosen one, otherwise why would azura or dagoth ur give you visions if they didn't at least suspect that you are the true Nerevarine another thing is that you were send by uriel septim itself the guy who constantly had dreams /visions about events and could see more than the average person and the fact that you land perfectly on the prophecy.
