This is giving me PTSD flashbacks to when I played coop levels in the first game with my friends.

Did the guy that voiced most of the Americans return for Sandstorm? His panicked lines in 1 are genuinely some of my all time favorite examples of voice acting.

That's Mikee, he said he injured his vocal chords doing Day of Infamy so he's not a selectable voice, but he does the voice for the Blackhawk call-in
imo the new voice actors are still really good, and Mikee directed all of them

Also Mikee voiced literally every character in the first game, he was the only voice actor. Now he's lead game designer

Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena looked pretty great for a game running on 6th gen tech, had all sorts of post processing effects

Nah. The first was novel at the time but it's horribly dated now. The sequel is utter shit.

The first was just okay at best. The second is spectacularly bad in a hilarious and frustrating way. I find the stories pretty interesting though. They are best played in co op.

I think from a technical standpoint the first Riddick game was more advanced than both Half Life 2 and Doom 3 but wasn't as successful because of the gameplay being a bit janky

God damn. I had a feeling that the American squad leader was just him doing a higher pitched voice, but I never would've guessed he did all of them. That just reinforces my previous sentiment about his acting. Sucks to hear about his vocal chords but I'm glad he kept on the team in an alternative role.

One of the best tpses of the generation, right behind payne 3.

First one is very dated and kinda bland. The second one is better all around maybe except plot, has way better presentation and gunplay and a weird artstyle that makes it feel like a gritty grimy action movie which you may love or hate. Its not exceptional but in my opinion pretty decent though i seem to be in minority on this.

seriously the k&l2 main menus where some of the comfiest pre asmr shit in the world.
the one inside the car was my favorite, wish I knew what song that was.
