Played SA, Perfect Cherry Blossom, and I think I messed around in another one, and I played the hell out of the fighting games. Scarlet Weather Rapsody and 12.3 I loved so much. They were so unique for a fighting game and I found them very enjoyable.

I also did play a bunch of Hopeless Masquerade before drama from the touhou fourm I was in pushed me away from the franchise (turns out, treating SJWs as friends earns you a knife in the back).

I haven't really played the games for a few years now, moved on to other games. I should really go back and try them again, I did have a lot of fun... I just haven't gotten back around to it. Regardless, Zun's fantasy land will always have a place in my heart

I have no clue about the fucking story, the fucking background of the characters, and the fucking creator! But I do know one thing, the mother fucking amount of ecchi/hentai/doujinshi! Holy shit! THANK YOU CRAZY ASS FANS! I'M TAKING IT ALL IN! YES!

Played EOSD and just found it uninteresting. Shame because the games all have fantastic music, just like CAVE's games but I find vertical shmups just dull compared to horizontal scrolling ones. Love tasofro's 2hu games though.

I've played all of them and I honestly don't understand how anyone can not like them if they consider themselves fans of video games. They are pure gameplay games at their core, like most retro games. It's you, the small set of tools you're given, and the challenge you're meant to overcome. It's incredibly satisfying.

I can understand the argument that they're too difficult, but they all come with easy modes. Unless you're physically disabled you should be able to clear them, and eventually build up the skills to 1CC them, which is where the fun comes from, especially once you move up to normal and harder.

Go play the fighting games. Scarlet Weather Rapsody (later 12.3 with SWR combo'd) is pretty dang unique for a fighting game. Hopeless Masquerade and rest of the HD touhou fighting games are also very different.

FGO most llikely, I don't keep track of comiket charts of doujin amount, but I think last year it was #1. It's absurd how much attention it has in japan, every site I use to search for pics has works of FGO characters on the front page, even boorus.

I tried them all, but only 1cc'd 8, 10 and 11 on normal. I really, really want to become good at them, but I am stuck in a never-ending loop of me training, becoming somehow better, then stopping for like 9 months, only for me to then return to the game and be disappointed at my lack of effort.
Yesterday was playing 15 and took me 50+ tries to survive through Doremy's and was super disappointed because it doesn't look hard at all, I just suck.

The shmups are okay with a few glaringly bad exceptions (EoSD, HSiFS). CAVE makes better games tho.

...as a Nasu-verse fan, (Megaman, Phantasy Star,Type-moon,Touhou are among my top tier favorites) , I'm kinda sad Fate/Go and Fate in general has completely consumed the Type-Moon company. I don't blame them and I do understand why everything else has fallen to the wayside, even if I don't like it. Nasu and crew are making godly amounts of money, more then they ever had and their franchise has gone global with millions upon millions of fans. At this point, doing something not Fate related is a risk.

I miss the Tsukihime side of the series (and love Melty Blood. I want a HD remake. At this rate we'd get a HD remake of the Fate psp fighting game first...)

Ive played a lot of 6 through 10 but can never 1cc them. Last bosses kick my shit in everytime. Been playing Genius of Saphirous and that game is great

Sad doesn't even begin explaining how I feel about that. All the potential the universe ever had has been completely ruined and fans nowadays probably think that all the Nasu-verse needs is more servants, more holy grails and more retardation.
I liked Fate, I thought it was a very fun story with some neat concepts. I don't understand how it exploded in a series of the most soulless derivative works I've ever seen where all that was bad in the original novel became the basis for what the fanbase actually nowadays loves. The only thing GO is good for is porn, especially if it's about Nero (assuming she shuts up and is drawn by a decent artist).

My game pallete is already filled by my current set of games (Smash, PSO2, and I've tried picking up BOTW, first non PSO2/Smash game I've played in a LONG while. I feel like I'm on a skinner box treadmill with Smash and that action MMO...)

When I buy it, I'll play it, and the depressing side of me questions if I do buy it, will I actually play it or will it rot in my backlog which is in the hundreds atm (outside emulation)

Normal mode it's going have an huge difficulty jump considering that EoSD has no stage 6 on Easy, but at least you reached some kind of milestone
Personally, your next step should be trying to get an easy 1cc in PCB or at least a 2cc in IN so you can start enjoying the comfy good endings

I've 1cc'd (Normal) most games in the series, exception being GFW, LoLK on Legacy and Touhou 1 and 3. Also got a few Extra clears in MoF, UFO and PCB (the ezpz extras)
Spinoff-wise I've completed HM, ULiL, AoCF, SWR, Violet Detector (game clear) and ISC (with items clear).

Goals are gitting gud at LoLK, clearing more extras. Maybe work on ISC no items even though I know I'll probably never git gud enough for that.

LoLK is actually not that difficult to 1cc as it seems if you abuse grazing for shitloads of bombs. That said, I wouldn't expect a game compared to I Wanna be the Guy by the creator himself is something that's really intended to be 1cc'd.
