The Godzilla of Pokemon

...

Somehow still going strong after all these years even though its a slow rock type

He's one of my favorites
Never available early enough to actually use him in a main game, though

Still the best overall pokemon

baste

>double weak to fighting as well

>but double weak to ground too

the only acceptable tough boi pokemon are scizor and fortress, only weak to 1 thing, resists everything else. but double weak to it.

based

He made it to Galar at the cost of becoming a manlet.

You can get a larvitar on the second island in USUM, but of course, then you're playing USUM

Still my bromon

Yeah I have 0 interest in USUM.
I started playing Renegade Platinum recently , though, and you can get one before the first gym, so that was nice.

Just use Pokegenning to give yourself one.

2 crippling weaknesses and low speed isnt enough to keep this absolute lad down. Hes gunna head smash something and that something is gunna be dead

I think it being a "large rodent" size actually works better for him as a Pokemon. Rather than being fucking Godzilla. The problem is that it would make his pre-evolutions ridiculously small.

>lets go fixed the size issue
>SwSh refucked it

TTar is 2 meters canonically. Game Freak just downscaled everything to be trainer-sized or less because MUH DYNAMAX

If every "large" Pokemon has that max size, then it looks fucking awful and I don't understand why would they do that.

He's got a lot going for him, the sandstorm spdef boost gives him a higher effective BST than anything except for box/event legends and shitmon with burdensome abilities. Sandstorm free damage helps with numbers on a lot of 2HKOs. Broad stat distribution and great movepool means that a lot of sets are viable which lets him adapt to the meta. In his time he's been a physical tank, a special attacker, mixed attacker, setup sweeper, choice user, supportive tank, ect. Being one of the strongest STAB pursuit users to ever exist also gives him a permanent niche.

He cute

Doesn't this shit eat a mountain a day? Imagine if Pokemon were real.

It's probably like 5 size tiers:
>tiny baby shit
>starters
>awkward sizes and floaty things
>fully evolved Pokemon
>legendary Pokemon or anything notably giant
And like I said, the reason is to keep a consistent scaling factor for Dynamax. Otherwise they'd fuck it up and have Wailord clip into the skybox.

Narse

Is anyone else kinda hyped after that new trailer, maybe they will actually give a shit about balance this time around
