He's just the malevolent Jigsaw-esque figure who is in charge of the killing game. His lines can be dark humor comic relief and does a decent job at being both unsettling and jovial, so there's that. He doesn't talk much though so it doesn't really matter if you dislike him

most of the lines have been radically changed from Japanese to English because of things like wordplay, phrases, and concepts almost never directly translate from one to another, so you are effectivally just listening to some people read a different script in a language you don't understand.

I hated the trials because the truth bullets you had to use seemed subjective
a good example of this bullshit was trial 5 when they were talking about the duct tape: There were 3 weak statements to slice during a rebuttal, and all of them could have been countered by the duct tape point, but only one is "allowed" to be countered
This shit happened like once or twice every trial and it makes you turn your brain off and just run every combination possible or tab out and google it
