>great story
Certainly not Destiny.

That screenshot reminds me of FFXIII so that one.

The story itself, no. The lore though, is amazing, makes me really sad it's stuck with a terrible game.

Explain Sword Logic.

Kill shit get strong or something. I don't fucking know.

Destiny would be the opposite of that

Original Nier.

Planescape Torment

It's just extreme Darwinism attached to worshipping a cosmic death god. The Hive aren't human so they call it something else.

Nier gestalt.

Are you implying that Destiny has great gameplay but shitty lore? Because that, my friend, is retarded.

The game isn’t shit. It’s mediocre. Drakengard 3 is the absolute shit.

The first assassin's creed, kind of.

No man's sky lore is pretty good

It has great gameplay and great lore but shitty story and terrible management so far

>is another bungie shilling
just play warframe Yea Forums

You need to kill to survive and stay atop the food chain
If you too weak to defend yourself then you deserved to die

>great gameplay
pvp is shit, pve is boring, endgame is innacesible without other 5 retarded ppl
>great lore
explain me what the fuck is the shit moon that literally ignores basic laws of gravity
>shitty story and terrible management
true

if you want a good shooter play anything else than deshitny

>you need to kill to survive
>D1 lore explains that resurrecting is sacrilege for the hive at the level that Oryx sent his son to the fucking nothingness
>shadowkeep literally resurrects all the bad guys from D1 and D2 Vanilla

retarded af famila

Legacy of Kain games have really mediocre combat and a lot of repetitive puzzles but the world and characters are so interesting that it makes it worth it to power through.

Planescape Torment is so much what you asked that they must have had this idea in mind from the very beginning while making it

Fuck off, gameplay was great, the problem was in activity design.

You’re the retard if you think shadowkeep is actually resurrecting them. They’re going to be some weird darkness recreation of them. They’re “nightmares.”

Mixing sci and medieval fantasy always comes off as muddled and bland. They should have stuck to their more grim sci fi roots with Marathon and Halo style.

I liked the original concept of the last city being a space ship/ station and some of the OG concept art.

In a nutshell...
>The weak deserve death.
>Grow stronger from killing the strong.
>Keep what you kill.

And D2 reinforces that it's sacrilege because a necromancer comes up in the story and the hive see it as heresy.

The 'returning dead' will probably be tied to the Taken. My beef with Destiny is that the Taken and the Hive are allied but the Taken are blasphemy to sword logic. Now THAT'S stupid.

The premise is great, their writers just can't do it justice
