Whats up with those graphics bruh?
Fuck yeah I played the shit outta tibia in highschool over a decade ago now.
Fuck Brazilians and the Portuguese.
>graphics
gameplay more important
This, always got hunted after not replying to 'PL?' 'BR?'
Lmao bruh games can have graphics and good gameplay. SAD!
sad, true
but
I don't care about graphics
>BR?
>no
>PL?
>no
>Pked anyways in fucking town
Stupid fuckers and their eternal war.
But man I had a blast in some cave north of the city starting with C (been awhile, pretty sure - had to get there by boat, on the proper mainland after LVL 8 not noob island) killing mouths in the ground and stashing my loot in bags hidden in bushes and boxes and shit outside the cave when my own ones got filled. Or going through an Orc stronghold with 3 other English speaking people I bumped into for hours, reaching the very end and killing the captian. Some damned good memories.
The game died when blessings got introduced removing all the difficulty, let it die already.
I wanted to enjoy that game, but then I realized it was only grinding with no side distractions to keep things fresh. They should have started introducing more and more quests.
Post the tibia pk video with the Brazilians literally chimping out
Tibia is amazing in its own way. The game is utterly unfair. A higher leveled character will more or less always beat a lower leveled one. Death means the loss of 10% of your stats plus one of your items, meaning you could lose weeks of progress if some stranger with a better char decided to screw you over. Thus the game became about social manipulations, assesing risk vs reward and most importantly having strong friends to protect and avenge you. It's an utter mess game design wise but the high stakes made it a more intense experience compared to other MMOs
Looks like a byond game.
>Death means the loss of 10% of your stats plus one of your items,
A few years ago they made it that this no longer happens in an attempt to get casual players.
By doing this they broke the game in multiple ways.
Created motivation to have bots around since bots mean money for cipsoft.
Made player killing pointless.
Added offline training removing the need of training so anyone is overpowered after one month of idling at any level.
And made a subscription based game pay to win with the addition of tibia coins.
>tfw getting pked and running the fuck back to the bank
I swear to god shit like this cost me 5 years of my life
Tibia is one of those games that will always hold a place next to my heart, regardless of how awful I or the game actually was.
I used to play in a /vg/ guild who's sole purpose was to cleanse the br ahue like ten years ago.
It was some of the most fun I've ever had playing vidya.
What's tibia like now lads?
Shame. I haven't played Tibia since 08 so it's bound to have changed.
The game died around 8.53 update, blessings being first things that made everyone quit playing it for good.
Before someone trying to kill you would scare you shitless, this days you just shrug it off and let him kill you since you wont lose items, exp or skills anymore, you pay 2k to get your blessings back and that is it.
hi
sell rat
yes
bye
Never played it, but that shit got memed to death in my country. We even had the fucking news talking about the game (or rather demonizing it). Every single normalfag here would recognise the name and probably laugh
