I forgot how hard hitting the reveal is. Everything's fine one second, the bad guy's been caught, the next you're getting dragged into the bad-end future and being literally executed.
Then right before you get out, Grovyle does his whole 'Haha, I still have hope!' speech and just gets fucking laughed at by Dusknoir. I wish I could play this game for the first time again.

I wonder if there is a way to transfer saves from a cfw PS3 slim using the PS2 emulator to PCSX2. I really want to go back to DQVII but I don't want to grind for hundreds of hours just to get back to where I was on the PS3.

I'm playing the absolute fun game called fixing my fucking broken amd drivers. I tried doing a clean install to fix it but it isn't working now I can't use super resolution to play at 4k so I'll have to roll back, enable it then install the latest driver just so I can go back to where I was in the beginning without fixing my radeon settings fml.

DQV SuperFamicom, I'm almost finished and I think it may be my favorite in the series thus far.

Yo OP, config>video>plugin settings>allow 8 bit textures.

That'll fix the artifacts around the text. And make sure you're using OpenGL rendering otherwise some of the glowing effects around certain enemies gets fucked up.

DQ8’s capped at 30 FPS on the PS2, at least on real hardware, the only thing in it that may run at 60 is the main menu IIRC.
I don’t know if the whole game can be forced to run at 60 on PCSX2 via hacks and/or vGS/EE overclocking though

But for some reason I'm getting shit FPS since I started using a AMD laptop. Well, at least I can get 95~100 fps, but I need to use the lowest resolution.

This doesn't help, but I did the same thing kinda in reverse, with a memory card on freemcboot ps2 to pc to cfw ps3 for a game using ps2 isos and a virtual mem card. So probably possible.
