That's not how it works. It was removed on purpose. It's not hidden either because image server is still up but new images aren't saved.
Yea Forums only has ~1tb of content up at any given time because old shit gets deleted permanently, most of Yea Forums's costs are bandwidth and it's paid for by ads.
