Was this game any good? Pretty sure its the only FMA game that was made despite the popularity back in the day.
Was this game any good? Pretty sure its the only FMA game that was made despite the popularity back in the day
bump, also interested in a fma game worth playing
Don't know if it was good but it wasn't the only fma game.
Well at least the cover art is fucking beautiful
Shame because Full Metal has the potential to be one of the greatest JRPG series ever made with how great its mechanics could translate into gameplay it just requires effort no one's willing to put in. look at how successful dragon ball fighting games are because someone looked at that and knew it could make a good game if all the series characters and special powers were utilize correctly.
>Was this game any good?
Yeah, but only a little good. Like a 6/10.
Yeah but it's based on the original FMA anime. Brotherhood is better but it has no games.
There was one on the psp and it was in english but released only in PAL territories
The game was alright, nothing spectacular but not complete dreck. Except for the ending, but I have to give it credit for acknowledging the bonus fight
These were pretty fun. Definitely worth a playthrough.
Both games were decent and fun at times, just don't expect too much.
Eh, not really.
2003 > Brotherhood prove me wrong
pro-tip: you can't
They are both better in their own ways
Prove me wrong
Protip you can't
CoS should have been another season though
Yes I can: Watch 2003 up until Hughes' death, then switch to Brotherhood.
How dare you be reasonable when I am trying to start an argument.
There was some kind of beat-em-up Flash game on AdultSwim.com back in the day.
Kek
It's hard for me to argue over what series is better desu
I think I remember playing this game, I might still own it somewhere packed away
It was ok. If I recall it was something of a beat 'em up
What I want to know is what episodes do they consider to be "season 2" of FMA?
Yup, you could play as Ed or Al but they where close to re-skins of each other.
No because Wrath Bradley >>> Pride Bradley
Also the show grinds to a halt the second she shows up, the idea behind the homunculi is more interesting though
I think it is just the sequel to what OP posted, not season 2.
I played this one, not the first
It was alright for a licensed anime game.
Speaking of, this game was surprisingly kino
Wasn't Scar unlockable? I vaguely remember a character select screen and a locked silhouette
Its been a long time.
Might have been but i just played the main story about once for Ed and once for Al since it was quite short.
>yellow sticker
>black writing
>INCLUDES BONUS DVD WITH THE FIRST TWO EPISODES OF SEASON TWO OF THE HIT TV SERIES!
At least look at the cover.
>Say I thought the FMA ending was alright
>Everyone tells me I'm wrong
Am I alone in this? I thought that our world being on the other side of the gate was a nice idea. Of course Brotherhood is still infinitely better.
You got me, should have read before i was dumb, sorry.
Personally i loved the idea of our world being on the other side of the gate, that and where the homunculus came from was a really cool idea.
Conquerer of Shambala is the worst thing in the FMA franchise
>le nazis
Okay, according to wikipedia it came with episodes 27&28 of FMA. Not the worst two episodes to include as a bonus, to be honest.
can you fug kagome?
Yes, you can fug anyone
I mean, it was already that before they crossed through the Gate. The Nazis were just wearing blue instead of black.
are you serious...
But it was pure kino
>not liking Nazis
pleb i bet you liked brotherhood instead, lol.
This
The leader was literally called fuhrer
2003 Lust and Sloth is infinitely better but Brotherhood's Gluttony, Envy, Wrath and Pride are much better.
Its half dating sim half RPG , just pick male or female and date whichever character you want
I liked the movie and the concept of the gate but the movie felt rushed
Either it Should have been another season, or they should have just left the gate for the one episode finale and left the ending ambiguous
Wouldn't it be funny if you drew gluttony voring Edward
Haha it would be soft vore of course since he isn't allowed to die yet
Wouldn't that be embarrassing haha
This tbqhfamalam
>only now realize why the villan is called dante
i wish to seduce a japanese school girl
I'm not even sure if this would work. By that point I think there's already too many 2003-only story elements that have been introduced that would make no goddamn sense in Brotherhood.
It's Daisoto in Japanese, which means something like Supreme/Grandest Commander. Why it's Fuhrer in the English translations and not Generallissimo or Marshal I don't know, especially as unlike Hitler the Fuhrer of Amestris is also the active duty, rank holding head of the military whereas Hitler was a civilian (his uniform was nazi party dress, not military dress).
I liked the state alchemist trials, but Brotherhood is a better paced story.
2003 Tucker was fun too. Fucking freaky ass upside-down sloth.
>Wouldn't it be funny if you drew gluttony voring Edward
I most certainly will not.
True. I watched 03 before brotherhood but I much preferred brotherhood's story and ending. Thankfully now that I've already got all the character development from 03 I don't have to rewatch it again if I wanna rewatch brotherhood
It was written by the same retard as Genocyber. So no. Not to mention most people that dropped FMA usually dropped it because of how retardedly over-cynical and nihilistic FMA 2003 was in a retardedly tip fedora way. The openings and animation were pretty cool and it did have some ideas that were cooler than Brotherbood but you cannot say that it was better than Brotherhood.
Now on the other hand.... Hellsing 2001 > Hellsing Ultimate and you can't prove me wrong on that.
2003's openings are great, and it's really funny to me to have a band named "Porno Graffiti" do the opening song to an anime for teenagers.
I'm pretty sure you could unlock Izumi too.
God Melissa is so fucking good.
Explain.
All their songs used for anime openings are great.

A GTO game would be fun.
Dante's inferno
Seven deadly sins
But the seven deadly sins aren't in Inferno, they're in Purgatorio.
I'm just baiting, good catch, user.
All their songs are great.

It's kinda surprising GTO didn't get a game actually. Definitely seems like something that would've had at least one of those older VN-type student raiser games, at the very least for a cheap cash-in.
I feel like I should rewatch 2003 sometime because I haven't seen it in about decade, but I'm worried about it being way worse than I remember. Everytime I hear about something from 2003 that I forgot, it was pretty stupid, like Frank Archer.
Pretty sure most of the 03 original content before then is just filler episodes that have no real bearing on the overall plot. It's not until after his death that things start to change in a big way because that's when they diverge from the manga and start building up Dante and shit in the Greed arc.
Thanks user
>Implying robo archer wasn't so stupid it was awesome
Frank Archer was the original JoJo reference everyone didn't like
I agree but I still like Brotherhood
To be fair even the die-hard 2003 lovers like myself would never unironically defend Robo Frank Archer, he already didn't add much to the story to begin with but him coming back as not only an extra final boss but as some weird half-Terminator thing was incredibly stupid
