Because Japanese games suck. They're completely held up by the anime art style and giant tits. The gameplay is boring and uninteresting, with most of it being stretched thin with gathering crafting materials or repetitive combat to grind experience that never actually stimulates the gamer. The male MCs are grating, juvenile caricatures that feel like they were drawn up by some autist while the female ones are either wish fulfillment bigtittymommies and ittybittylolis or stronk woman who takes care of herself. Most of the environments are flat, boring, uninteresting, and with shitty textures. I would never play a J game over something like Pathfinder, Total War, or Witcher.

Isn't the story with Fate:GO basically that she gave her body over to some ancient (evil?) sex Goddess? So she's now been possessed by some giant slut and is fucking the MC of that game, instead of the guy she was supposed to be in love with in the original games.

There are four major genres I enjoy.
Japan only makes games for two of them. One of them is basically "lol Zelda" and nothing else. The other is basically "lol anime tits", cringe Japanese humour, and nothing else.
I enjoy their survival horrors though.
