Do the arquitecture and wilderness get more interesting and weird? All I've seen are just different styles of medieval buildings and standard forests for each region that even if they are pretty, they're nothing particularly imaginative and creative like in Morrowind.

The PC in Oblivion is one of the few that has ever been granted access. I think it being identical to Dagon's was laziness on the dev's part. There's some theories that his followers just wound up in the deadlands and that wasn't Peryite's plane at all.
