>regular scoring system typical of any sport
>but lets include these fucking death balls that ram into random players hard enough to break bones
>also lets make it so that the game only ends when a player catches this tiny ass ball flying darting around the entire field and give the team who catches it a gazillion points
wizards are fucking retarded

what do you expect? they're all inbreds like 80% of europe anyway

Anyone have download links to PS2 ISOs? I haven't played PoA since I was a kid.

I'm pretty sure there's a time limit to the Quidditch matches, and the quaffle I can't fucking believe I remember the name of the ball points are what's counted in the end, in case the snitch is not caught by either team.

emuparadise

Motherfucker a world cup lasted like 2 weeks or some shit maybe it was just for the world cup but still

Fuck slythrins and their special
Literally built for your little brother to have a chance

I go to the game's download page but it doesn't give me an option to actually download the ISO.

>I'm pretty sure there's a time limit to the Quidditch matches

>In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Chapter 10, Oliver Wood tells Harry that the longest game ever lasted for three months. “They had to keep bringing on substitutes so the players could get some sleep,” Wood explained.

That's pretty ridiculous, what with students needing to go to classes and all.

What is this all about?

>Anyone remember this?
Oh fuck absolutely, played this all the time. The first two PC Harry Potter games were pretty sweet.

>>remember getting scared by Peeves, and the gnomes especially
The spooky laughter at the start of the first game where your trying to do the platforming scared the shit out of me. I also was a bit younger and was terrified of Snape in that stealth mission and had to get my dad to do the mission for me lmao

>remember being afraid of spiders in vidya after watching chamber of secrets 18 years ago

Did this game get really hard all of the sudden at some point? I remember it being all fun and games and then suddenly bulgaria decides fun time is over.

Rowling's a fucking hack that has no clue how to write a cohesive world in general

kino? more like shit . Graphics were shit, and the games were far too short. You could finish them in a weekend if you really wanted to.They were dull, like evereything else in the franchise. Including the books.

Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

a-at least the books were good though "No!" The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."

I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.

nice formatting retart

They had that chocolate frog candy in the UK where it was like, actual candy from the books and movies and branded to look like it came from the HP universe. Those chocolate frogs were legitimately THE FUCKING SHIT. They tasted really great for what they were, and you got some cool card with it as well you could collect. They also came in an attractive box. Pic related. Miss this shit.

I was really surprised to find out there's an actual modding community for the first PC games

Install tampermonkey on chrome then install this

I've always wanted to try the chocolate frogs, and unironically collect all the Wizard cards.

You can still buy ones similar to this but now they're £7 or something ridiculous.

Same, they were never sold where I lived.

are Order of Phoenix and Half-blood Prince good games?

they used to exists in Italy too.

user what the fuck?

Attached: Hogwarts.jpg (3628x2047, 1.73M)

only the exploration is good as far as I remember, wandering around in a perfect recreation of movie hogwarts is great but it does get old, the rest of the game is just replaying the same minigames over and over

You can still buy those and they are shit for what you are paying, Pic related are the ones you want, cheaper, better chocolate, and the card is a scene from the books illustrated

Attached: chocolatefrog.jpg (522x580, 53K)

i thought the first three games recreation of hogwarts was amazing

the puzzles and the spells were so great

IIIIIINCENDIO!

Brother Karamazov is really shitty book. And it's coming from another Russian

test

quidditch is such a dumb fucking sport, the videogame had no right to be so much fun

That was a cool game i would kill for a remaster (only for better res and graphic)

They completely shit the bed with Goblet of Fire as some Diablo-esque shit and the series never recovered
Sad!
Gold wizard card challenge on Chamber of Secrets for PC is one of my favourite things in gaming
