My attack stat is about 600. But I hit so little with it. I do 30 damage to the fire dragon boss and I cant beat him since his hp is several thousands. What am I doing wrong. I see videos of people with 1000 attack where I'm at and easily beat bosses. I forged the strongest weapons I could but it still only gives me this much output.
Aside from the combat, how are you liking the game so far? I'm interested in playing this but I suck at video games so I'm a bit worried now.

The game is very easy, op is just inbred. It's pretty much harvest moon, but with simplistic combat added in on top of a fantasy theme. I'd recommend it
Jaxson Green
Each enemy has an element, you might be hitting him with a weapon he is resistant to. Try infusing a water crystal on your weapon to change it's affinity.

>choose girl character >can't romance girls >need to actually marry a guy and start a family with him in order to fucking progress R-Restarting the game after hours of playthrough isn't really bad... right?
Play as a guy and then beat the game, you can turn into a girl and marry a girl.
Dominic Evans
I tried multiple elements. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Do you remember weapons you used?
Adam Peterson
All the dudes look feminine enough to just ignore it honestly.

Did you upgrade your equipment/ level up your forging skill? I played the game with basic gear for some of the game, and it made the combat a bit harder Also I love dolce
>this zoomer never suffered terranigmas Bloody Mary fight Lad, we used to fight bosses for hours, slowly chipping off the boss hp, 1 by 1 dmg

Rune factory 2 is one of my favourite games, 4 has a lot of the same elements improved but it lost a lot of it's soul and comfy charm. Things like farming and talking and getting to know villagers isn't that important anymore, fishing is more tedious. It's not bad but it's not as comfy and fun as it once was.
David James
upgrading doesn't do much, it gives like a few extra attack but nothing substantial. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
Luke Hernandez
are these fun to play on something like desmume? any to try/avoid? was going to play the remaster of 4 but kind of want something cool and lowkey
Before that fight I had no idea how the magic badges worked, after that point I used them to steamroll the rest of the game. What a bullshit boss
Samuel Green
Bloody Mary wasn't even that hard because at that point you were used to the game's bullshit boss encounters. Dark Morph was the real noob killer.
Brody Cook
If you play 4 you'll never want to go back to the old games because of how clunky they are. I hear 3 is pretty acceptable even now, but 1 and 2 have definitely been overshadowed by their sequels in terms of gameplay and polish.

Are you upgrading your weapons properly? You can upgrade a piece of equipment 9 times, and better material give better stat bonuses. But every time you use a material more than once the effect is half as strong, so you want to use a bunch of different material. Additionally you can get a second bonus based on the total rarity of the upgrade material, but this only unlocks at crafting level 50 and shouldn't be necessary at that point in the game. And if you still can't beat him try making a staff and using magic, that way you can both fight at a range and make sure you're using the best element.
you don't need to marry or romance at all for the main story. But most of the boys are pretty cute, how can you not like any of them?
Look up how crafting bonuses work. It's surprisingly more complex than it seems. IIRC, I transposed my weapon stats onto a low level weapon then fully upgraded it with lv 10 seeds. If all your ingredients (empty slots need to be filled too) and upgrades are lv 10, your weapon receives a massive attack bonus that's very useful until Rune Prana.

>dark morph >hard Nigga unless you ran away like a bitch from the mobs he's easy as fuck. BM however has such a spike in lvl requirement that even if you kill everything on your path you won't be at the level where you do sensible damage to her without serious grinding, unlike dark fag
Camden Nelson
Doesn't forging and such increase base attributes like strength? You can have the best wep of the game but unless your strength keeps up you might as well use a paper fan. Def and str is the essential attributes for mob/boss killing if I recall right
Adrian Sullivan
Saber isn't even tsun at all. Where did that meme come from? I see lots of guys calling her tsundere when she's nice and polite to MC
Liam Edwards
I played 1 and 2 on no$gba, they're were really fun nad comfy. The combat in 3 and 4 improved a lot but other than that i prefer the older ones.
Luis Jones
Didn't like the village in 4. I mean, the inhabitants were cool, but the village itself didn't mesh with me.
Christian Barnes
I kinda let my monsters do the dirty work for me OP, they have proven to be far better than me at dishing out damage, odd, since in RF3's hard mode you can still fuck everyone up because Micah is the chadest chad there is unlike RF4's MC, he is a weak fag.
