You have 12 seconds to justify not having a modded original xbox, especially when they're so easy to mod and the games are even easier to find.

I don't have enough square acres to house one

no games.

Because it stifles interest and demand for emulation. Original hardware will die some day.

how do you mod them?

There are absolutely zero x box exclusives that I want to play

>Original hardware will die some day.
when?

Not worth the effort of digging the console out just to pirate the 3 games worth playing that haven't been ported.

you either need an exploit game or hotswap trick
exploit games are easier

gotta get better taste.

>le epic artificial difficulty game

doesn't something in the xbox melt after 15 and they die?

>he can't hold 1 button
typical cube casuals

no, remove the clock cap

I just put a new 100GB PATA harddrive I had lying around in a 1.0 motherboard Xbox. I of course took the clock cap out while I was at it. Xbox really is a great console, so many games worth playing from that generation and all of them that are multiplat are best on it.

>have to buy shit to mod it
no thanks

It's just a matter of time

You act like capacitors are rare and not produced in the billions and cost pennies

this and buying one modded is expensive too

Is there a way to do the modding without Pandora Tomorrow? What's the "best method"? I have the compatible HD ready to go, but I need a method that won't fuck up anything/doesn't cost more than I need.

BTW, what's the average size of an Xbox game?

>he doesn't have a decades old computer to use the hotswap method

He said Xbox, not playstation.

1-3.5gb, some are up to 8gb but only a few. you need either splinter cell black label ($5), mechassault ($5) or agent under fire black label ($5.) Plus a way to transfer the payload & saves to your xbox ($8.)

I have one but I never use it and I'm going to let it die from that clock problem because I don't give a shit and cxbx reloaded will be good enough eventually.

What does it do?
Like, what would I play on it? There's not that much I want to play on original xbox, especially shit that wasn't ported to xbone via bc. Not that I play my xbone much either, but I especially can't imagine an original xbox being worth shit.
Does it have really good emu support or something?

Xmbc was the best media center back in the day. I'd rather have my old xbox than an xbone lol, way more exclusives and not a garbage data miner box made by India's least profitable company.

>emulating
will never be good enough

modded xbox also has faster load times than xbone
