This game is going to be a MASSIVE dissapointment. We're talking No Mans Sky tier here. Before you stop scrolling lemme just bring up a few points.
>Class based First person shooter >Linear story driven gameplay >Regenerating health for cod plebs
At this point CDdrones will say BUT MUH IMMERSIVE STORY. Detroit become human had an immersive story as well, and it didn't exactly do that game any favors.
What your about to witness here is one of the biggest long cons of the decade. A well oiled and pretty-looking machine that revs up and then spits out... fucking nothing.
Boring corridor based shootan gameplay for retards and adrenaline junkies. It's basically Borderlands with better graphics.
Forget No Mans Sky, this game will be the fucking Too Human of this generation. And you can take that to the bank.
my uncle preordered NMS. He cried and smashed his PC with a hammer.
I can see the writing on the wall all over again, and just like back then millions will get suckered in, just like they did by Sean.
Xavier Rodriguez
>Borderlands with better graphics I see no problem
Zachary Sanders
I didn't preorder this game or Witcher 3 for the gameplay. I mean gameplay is a part of it, sure. But really the story is what hookes me with CDPR games. You may hate me for that, I don't care. Half Life 2 is one of the most succesful PC games in history and it had pretty lackluster combat too. Yes, the gravity gun was fun but and I expect we will get fun guns in CP77 aswell.
Anyways, my main point is that the gameplay will be stable and decent, it will be nothing mindblowing, and that's fine, because people aren't liking CDPR for their mindblowing gameplay. OP is right but he puts ill intent where there is none. Atleast know what you are getting into before pre-ordering and buying
I guess thats fair enough. All I'm trying to say really is that this game is not going to be the second coming of christ its been made up to be. I'm sure it will even be good, but it's not going to be anything genere defining in terms of gameplay, nothing on the caliber of Witcher 3.
Carson Adams
The NMS disappoint came from the gameplay loop and being SUPER vague on multiplayer. We already know 2077's gameplay loop, and there is basis on their success at world building and content. Literally incomparable.
Nolan Cook
I've been saying this for months. It's obvious it's going to be a 6.5/10 tops.
Adam Carter
Will they let you have a character with prosthetic? Day 1 buy for me if I can have a cripple gf
>nothing on the caliber of Witcher 3. But nobody praised Withcer 3 for any gameplay. They praised it for aesthetics and story. The gameplay is mediocre at best, they removed a lot of combat elements from previous installments, the talent tree is very simple and only has a few viable options, you are easily over-levelled etc. Again, people liked Witcher 3 for the story. This is why people were excited for the Witcher Netflix show, the story is the most interesting part. The same will hopefully be true for Cyberpunk 2077, I don't see it not providing that
Jayden Cook
There are three types of people who frequent Yea Forums these days. People who are excited for a game release. People who shitpost a game release but will still buy and play the game. And people who wish, with the deepest depths of their heart that every game release will end up like TORtanic.
The first two people can be enjoyable, the third type of person is just depressing.
Luis Martin
If im wrong I'll eat my hat and play the game with no regrets. I'm just calling a spade a spade.
Andrew Evans
It's gonna be a great game, but not "GAME OF THE CENTURY" like people are hyping it out to be.
David Martinez
The fact that I ever expected anything out of 2077 at any point automatically makes it better than No Man's Sky. Didn't even finish their sales pitch before I wrote that one off.
David Morgan
>I'm just calling a spade a spade No you're not, your making an assumption derived from your disappointing life. You are going to be dissapointed with the game regardless of the state of it when it releases. You are going to be ultra-critical and it's going to bias your opinion.
People say, "if you go in not expecting much you wont be dissapointed", but that doesn't mean your going to enjoy it if you look past the things that are enjoyable.
>Class based First person shooter >Linear story driven gameplay >Regenerating health for cod plebs None of these have made a game go down the shitter like No Man's Sky. In fact, games with things like this succeed more. I think when you say disappointment you just mean "personal disappointment". It takes a lot more than health going up, and being an fps for a game to do terribly.
Adrian Wood
>user posts cute crippled girls to remind me of my crushing loneliness Wow stop posting anytime.
Jace Green
>>Class based First person shooter
No - it's still an RPG.
>>Linear story driven gameplay
The story is linear but the game has exploration and side missions in an open world.
Camden Howard
Lmao who made this image? Ciri has fucking sausage arms.
Austin Price
OMFG this shit again. Why do you want this game to turn out bad? Yall have such a hard on for being hipsters and going against the grain. Cap this for instance: this game is going to be fine and do so well, witcher 3 tier if not better.
Jacob Lewis
This thread is a massive disappointment, I expect at least one nice 2077 thread on friday night. >wrong since combat is optional and just one approach, there's also melee >wrong, quests have varying approaches, paths and endings that sometimes also influence later quests >wrong, we saw V use a hypospray in the demo and haven't seen health regenerating If there's going to be regenerating health I expect they'll restrict that to the easiest difficulty mode. Maybe there'll be an implant similar to the original Deus Ex (that still required bio-energy which was finite and doesn't regenerate).
Camden Rodriguez
>It's basically Borderlands with better graphics. No? Read the writing on the wall, look at the gameplay ffs. It looks almost like a carbon copy of the new Deus Ex games. Same takedown shit, same 'abilities', same branching narrative stuff. It makes sense, CDPR has never done a shooter RPG like this, so it's just going to be a mix of witcher 3 and deus ex human revolution. Not exactly the worst thing in the world, but I can definitely see people getting let down by the lack of player choice in the game. I think the player choices are going to be less than the choices in the witcher 3, with the main 'decisions' in this rpg being what gun you use, how you outfit your character, et cetera.
David Jackson
What a retarded post. It only needs to be a cyberpunk Witcher 3 to be a massive success. TW3 didn't have classes and was a linear story driven game with a set protagonist and barebones gameplay and is still considered one of the best games of all time. Good writing and interesting side quests is all Cyberpunk needs.
Xavier Brooks
Her legs seem pretty thick for someone who can't walk, wonder what happened
Ryan Torres
Didn't read
Xavier Turner
You're probably right but I very much want you to be wrong. I have a bit more hope for VtMB 2.
>Most anticipated game in the past few years >All the gameplay they've shown is extremely solid and looks fun >Every single person who's gotten a chance to play unanimously admits the hype is real and justified
If you think this is going to be a disappointment in any way, you're genuinely fucking retarded.
Carson Garcia
>>Class based First person shooter What's wrong with this? >>Linear story driven gameplay Where's it said to be linear? Going to probably have a shit ton of diverging paths and choices to take >>Regenerating health for cod plebs Wrong, there's no regen health and you need to take meds to heal
At least try to use the truth when shitposting.
Jayden White
>DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE >CYBERPUNK!! >YOU CAN LITERALLY DO ANYTHING OR BE ANYONE!!
The game will probably be a solid 7 or 8/10 but since it won't be perfect you idiots will treat it like a "win" and another Tortanic then won't shut up about it for 5 years while the number of people who both enjoyed it and massively outnumber you will have moved on and visit these threads just to laugh at your autism.
Brayden Russell
he fucked her so hard he crippled her for life
Lucas Phillips
yes :(
Samuel Smith
yes you can get mods for your cyber bits
Joshua Walker
Not at launch, but they did say they'll allow mods.
Jacob Cruz
The Bloodlines 2 combat in the demo was so bad in every way Yea Forums stopped making threads about it. I doubt they'll completely overhauled combat in less than a year of development.
CP2077 on the other hand is hard to judge because we've seen so little of it and what was shown has been carefully staged.
Jason Evans
There's nothing wrong with any of those three things >Linear It's not.
Robert Diaz
it's a tranny garbage game, don't get your hopes up
Andrew Turner
In all honesty the NMS devs are based because they could have said fuck it and ran but they spent like 3 years fixing the fucking game. It takes a team of chad's to admit you fucked up, but still want to make amends for it rather than just running away.
I'm not from /pol/, sorry. Trannys don't send me into a seething rage.
Jacob Lopez
The main storyline is linear in the sense you can't choose between factions and unlock new missions that players who took a difference path won't see. It's like Deus Ex 1 instead of New Vegas. I imagine it'll have rather simple choices like "spare a guy, he'll come back later but it won't make much difference" It's been confirmed you can't join or increase your rep with the various factions in the game.
Daniel Evans
99% of people won't care because they're basing their expectations off Witcher 3
Evan Lee
>can't choose between factions and unlock new missions that players who took a difference path won't see Except it's already been confirmed several times that there are entire quest chains and locations you'll never visit depending on your choices. >It's been confirmed you can't join or increase your rep with the various factions in the game. Except it's been confirmed that you CAN increase/decrease rep with factions. That's the entire reason why you can't JOIN them. Why the fuck do you dipshits try to shitpost with things that can easily be disproven.
i can see myself still enjoying it if the narrative and atmosphere turns out being alright but at this point optimisticly speaking i dont expect more than 6/10 "made for fans" jank
Jayden Ramirez
oh, you're from that other site
Zachary Hill
>Except it's already been confirmed several times that there are entire quest chains and locations you'll never visit depending on your choices.
>Except it's been confirmed that you CAN increase/decrease rep with factions. That's the entire reason why you can't JOIN them.

A Thai magazine interview has confirmed there's no 3rd-person mode. Contards BTFO.
Leo Peterson
the gameplay video looked good
Eli White
Wait, Ciri was announced for Cyberpunk?
Hudson Wood
Imagine what that thing could do to your penis.
Julian Hughes
Yeah, and they were right! Bet you feel pretty stupid now, don't ya?
Asher Hernandez
I don't get my hopes up, and expect something at least on the level of the recent Deus Ex games in terms of gameplay and quests.
Aiden Mitchell
No-one cares, loser.
Henry Foster
Yeah, it's litteraly called the fucking rest of Yea Forums, retard
Isaac Mitchell
basically that. The witcher 3 but less
Brandon Harris
>I'm calling it right now >he says after we've seen gameplay and know what the game is about and what will be in it
We already know it's a disappointment you mong
Cooper Howard
>No Man's Sky tier It's going to become the best VR game three years after release?
Angel Russell
>Too Human of this generation What's the story with that, because I was to busy with Halo 3 to notice that game.
Camden Ward
visible hitpoints kills it for me and the fact it isn't raining all the time. i think i'm gonna vom.
You can have a spine injury in an instant. Doesn't take long to get someone into PT.
Jonathan Brooks
Why is her index finger so fucking small
Brandon Gonzalez
>what a piece of shit it has >immersive story >borderlands with better graphics >shooting suited for adrenaline junkies >RPG mechanics >popular gaming tropes
PnPfags crying again? Most sane people were and always have been expecting a new deus ex game
Joshua Parker
It's going to be good.
That said, I'm still hoping it will be bad, just to see how Yea Forums reacts.
Kevin Allen
It doesn’t matter if it’s good, these fags have made up their minds, they’ll shit on it regardless
Ian Cooper
>>Regenerating health unironically dropped, fuck this shit
Oliver Sanchez
>This game is going to be a MASSIVE dissapointment. That'll depend on the person, obviously, but sure, probably for some.
>We're talking No Mans Sky tier here. That's retarded. I don't think you appreciate how disappointing NMS was. The fact that you imply Too Human was even more of a disappointment proves that. NMS represents a high (low?) water mark that's going to be hard for any game to meet.
My expectations are pretty low. I'm just expecting a Deus Ex sorta game with a more open hub/map but less environmental interaction, and otherwise being an unremarkable console shooter.
>No Mans Sky I doubt that's possible. I don't even know how the hypetrain for NMS got that big, it was a complete phenomena. Going back to the Deus Ex analogy, at worst I predict a Mankind Divided situation, where it dips a little on release but people gradually get to grips with it.
And unlike Mankind Divided, they have the sense to release a full game.
