All the fun pvp in DS3 is in range of SL1-60.
>tfw blowing shitters up into a bloody cloud with a frayed blade +3

The fuckers won't unban me on PC, even though I've had a clean save for months.

I feel like this is where I've gone wrong and just shot over the mark to sl85

>pointdown after every death
Ha ha y-yeah good fight guys just how the cookie crumbles

I'm just playing DS1 for the first time on Switch and I had my first PVP earlier.
In Anor Londo there was a summon sign about invading the gravekeeper and I thought its some NPC stuff due to how remotely it was placed.
>get summoned into the cathedral together with another player
>other player attacks red target head on
>target almost warps behind him and backstabs him
>I hit him when he comes out of the backstab animation and only do 6 dmg
>try to attack him head on
>he somehow breaks my animation and suddenly I'm being backstabbed as well
Like how? It didn't seem like cheating at all, but how the hell do you get this fast and precise?
He wasn't even actually behind us, but in front of us. In fact, I think my character turned around for the animation even, and he just kinda rushed into me.

I'm completely baffled by this display and its my first experience. How crazy do people get in this game?

>>pointdown after every death
Why do they do that?

>>he somehow breaks my animation and suddenly I'm being backstabbed as well
That's the DaS pvp experience for you.

Yeah, the PvP in DaS is more about how well you could exploit the game, rather than skill. It's fun in it's own way, but newcomers will absolutely not have fun.

Try using the whip and just spam roll and rolling attack, the range and the speed is really good.

Well that's certainly a bummer. I thought it would be more fun than this.
But if its that common, how do they even do that?

>the PvP in DaS is more about how well you could exploit the game, rather than skill
Exploiting the game IS the skill.
DS1 has the highest skill cap in series between toggles, all the BS techniques and shit like perfect blocks

I find it easier to invade at high levels because you kill people faster.

All I wanted was to +10 my partizan cosplay as Tom Cruise in the last samurai when he's swinging that fucking spear thing about like a mad cunt

>156 damage a poke
>get two-swing chadded by UGS lighting buff smough leggings
>pointdown
>quit and hate fap to Stacy from high school 8 years ago
Where did it go so wrong

I just played the shit out of universe at war thanks to some dude figuring out how to make it 100% easy and free to get. They don't sell it on steam anymore, so I'm glad to see people still trying to play.

You sound like those mobile game ads in the five seconds before a YouTube video

DS1 pvp is broken as all fuck but it's the one i still have the most fun with, i guess because it's a sort of contest to see who can abuse the game the hardest

The only PVP that's worthwhile in Souls is invasions of new players who are legitimately trying to clear the level. "Dueling" is dumb shit.

>the only PVP is griefing people
>not even a challenge but just grief for grief's sake
literally the worst kind of shit

Rollin rollin rollin rollin rollin

I bet you're the kind of guy who disconnects once you get rekt

>griefing
That's the intended function of invasions. Adding dynamic difficulty to clearing the PVE.
It's really quite sad how brainwashed you are.

>tfw hacker invades you
>but he hacks in order to become a fake boss and even does AI-like patterns
Wasnt even mad. Was fun as hell.

>That's the intended function of invasions
No, the intended function is players onthe same level competing like that. Not griefing for fun.

quick user, pull the cord! oh nononono!!!

The reminder that try hard/no fun people like you exist makes my night a bit worse.

Says the guy too scared to duel.

How the fuck is matchmaking in Ds3 worked out? I've just realised the gank squad I've been beating my fucking head against are NG+ when I'm still pre Londor Castle
