I'm of the opinion that Beenox purposely made this game shit online. I have not other course of thinking for how horribly balance this game is from classes to items. It defies even the most basic common sense that anyone with a functioning brain would not do.

the classes are not balanced yes, but this is mostly noticeable only on high levels of play. For anyone playing this game casually basically all the classes fulfill their intended purposes and it very much is possible to beat every single challenge in the game with every class.
The game just clearly just did not have its balance tailored around high level play. Which is excusable, because it takes a lot of player data to determine the high level meta.
I think items are unbalanced, but the last update even if a massive faulure in changing how items work at least shows they are trying out new things. They probably tried increasing the amount of orbs and clocks based on feedback that many players can't catch up to first place. Meanwhile it doesn't seem like most people have realized they also upped the chance of getting nitro canisters in first place. I definitely think item balance will be addressed yet again next GP

I already hated Ami before she was playable, and I currently am enjoying the hell out of Baby T even though he's overused as fuck this GP.
I really do not mind that everyone would be using her for one GP, because as it stands currently Accel has 3 cute girls I wish I could play as and Speed has one single girl I have absolutely no interest in playing.
I would also be highly welcoming of Pasadena in Speed but I think she's probably going to be Balanced class. Nina as well, who I think will be either Balanced or Turning. But at least with Yaya we have a character that canonically will definitely be Speed.

The thing is, most people only expected a CTR remake. Even after the CNK reveal, people would be OK with that. No one was clamoring for CTTR characters, especially ones that were NEVER playable like Willie. Instead, Beenox decided to make this Crashs "EVERYONE IS HERE!" To the point that even characters usually agreed to be lame are rehabbed and shown love, care, and respect.
Idk about that, user. Vast majority of players are pretty shit at the game, I don't think you can pinpoint it down to a specific character. For every legitimately good Coco player I've met I've seen 10 that were just awful. It all depends on your luck.

You know there's more character to Tiny than "TINY SMASH PUNY KARTS", right? He shows a pretty innocent side due to how dumb he is.
I know, in an ideal scenario, that would be the case, but people have had 20 years playing the class and that's just too big of a shakeup to still make most corners in the game the same as before. It would probably feel really awkward if only the Speed stat was increased and nothing else.
The game is just designed so that characters with high Turning stats have slightly less Speed, and that's fine in my opinion, seems like that was an informed design decision on Naughty Dog's part seeing as racing lines are more important than raw speed, but it needs to MUCH closer than it is, on all classes.
