This dude is the most childish and most selfish character outside of Huey, himself. All he ever cared about MSF or DD for was money and a sense of power. He was never competent enough to be a leader, so he clinged to Big Boss, and when he found that BB had left him he threw a fit even though he had betrayed BB, first. He abandoned Venom despite their bond, which makes me think he only cared about him because he wanted to hang out with THE Big Boss.

>lore in an MGS game
Shut the fuck up you nerd

Or, or! He was simply a traitor, which is why he pinned everything on Huey.

his voice actor is fucking great though so it's alright

>THIS IS THE ENEMY

Huey couldn't keep a story straight if he were reading straight of Hop on Pop

He went on to train Solid Snake in his older years why wouldn't he feel betrayed that he's been talking to an imposter the whole time

Kaz was present when Paz was bomb'd by the way
He is the true traitor

Everything related to MG1 and MG2 is basically non-canon. Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain retconned them out of existence.

Master Miller is Snake's mentor in MGS1 his role in the 90s later years hasn't been retconned

There is a LOT of evidence for that:
>Had betrayed Big Boss before.
>His eyes clearly indicate he is infected with parasites.
>Had worked with/for Cipher before.
>You can spot supply containers with Diamond Dogs logo in the OKB base.
>The voice of one of Paz's interrogators in Ground Zeroes is Kaz's voice actor - in BOTH Japanese and English voice version.
>"Eyes on Kazuhira".
>Ocelot confirms that Huey is telling the truth about not being involved in the destruction of Mother Base.

MGS1 is also semi-retconned. Remember the main premise of the game hinges on the fact that Kojima didn't understand the basics of genetics.

This is why I always propose to treat the "Solid Snake et al." games and "Big Boss/Venom Snake" games as two separate timelines. They make much, MUCH more sense when you treat them as such. Also, it's pretty obvious that, in the long run, Kojima was going to retcon/retell his oldest games in a dramatic fashion.

Nah, he was fine.
I just wanted Venom to slap his shit for being insanely paranoid. What the fuck was up with him telling everyone to rat on each other and putting up 1984 posters?
How come Venom didn't even slap his shit about the ridiculous paranoia when he was torturing Quiet?

4 days until Gamescon. I swear, if this whole "Demon Edition" rumour proves to be true, I'll be posting "V HAS COME TO" in every single thread.

This. I've always found it really hypocritical that his evidence for Quiet being a traitor is that he tried to kill you/Big Boss. Well shit, it's Diamond Dogs, who the fuck there hasn't tried to kill you at some point? Hell, Kaz /met/ BiBo by trying to kill him. Just doesn't seem fair to hold that of all things against her, as hilarious as that sounds.

I hate this snownigger with a passion. All he cared for was making war a profitable well oiled machine. BB should've just kill this guy back in Peace Walker. Liquid did nothing wrong.

Well sure, but that isn't even the biggest issue. He has his Boss' girlfriend tortured despite the fact that she saves Ve om's life constantly and hasn't betrayed anyone despite constantly having the opportunity to kill everyone easily. She's literally the single most loyal person to Venom at that point.
And of course if he does succeed in getting her to talk then they'll all die.

I never got why Liquid hated Miller so much. Wasn't Miller the only reason Ocelot never went to town on him?

>Wasn't Miller the only reason Ocelot never went to town on him?
No. Miller suggesting that Ocelot would get a kick out of torturing Eli is one of the only times you ever hear Ocelot get legitimately offended.

Liquid wanted to continue fighting in Africa but Miller wanted to give the child soldiers an education and raise them right because he had a rough childhood and wanted to be a good father figure to them.

Good question. I'm just self-inserting as Liquid for the fact Liquid was the one to kill Kaz. WHy did he hated Kaz to the point of killing him? I don't know. Maybe cuz Kaz trained Solid? Did Liquid truly hated Solid? Well he tried to kill him with the Hind-D so I take that as a yes.

Bruh, Metal Gears technology doesn't exist. It's fiction. This is like looking at Harry Potter and saying magic doesn't work that way.

>Well he tried to kill him with the Hind-D
To be fair, Liquid knew he and Solid were twins and figured, going by his own standards (which he saw as inferior to Solid's), probably figured nothing short of an attack helicopter would do it. Not like anything else was working.

Makes me feel like it was another cut plot line that was set up for development in Chapter 3 or later.

Liquid thinks he's the heir of Big Boss and Kaz worked against Big Boss ever since he found out about Venom and would've worked against Liquid too. Probably kills him partly for childhood reasons and partly because he's on the enemy side.

Yeah but that doesn't really seems as hate. Now that I think about it the only reason Liquid tried to kill Solid was because Solid was a patroit puppet and was trying to stop Liquid from getting Metal Gear.

>Kaz worked against BB when he found out about Venom
But Kaz was never truly BB friend. He was just a psychopath using BB to make war a business. Notice how easily he betrays BB.

Kaz was a cunt to the kids from the beginning, though.

>Now that I think about it the only reason Liquid tried to kill Solid was because Solid was a patroit puppet and was trying to stop Liquid from getting Metal Gear.
Yes and no. Liquid had legitimate beef with Solid that had to be worked out one way or another, but I don't think he would've said no if Solid decided to join the party.

His feelings were hurt that the real Big Boss kept him in the dark about the plan while Ocelot was totally clued in and used him to make a faux Outer Heaven while he builds the true Outer Heaven. He was under the impression that Big Boss was his best buddy and that he was second in command.

Did Liquid ever met the real Big Boss, or did he really made a giant hissy fit over a guy he never actually knew?

Latter. It's for the best too, because the actual BB would've gone even worse. It's pretty heavily hinted at throughout TPP that Venom's the more benevolent side of the BiBo coin.

Miller was a traitor, though. BB never trusted him again after he told him he was Cipher, so he took the opportunity to ditch his ass when Cipher fucking bombed him.

It boils down to BB went on a deep cover infiltration mission and Miller didn't like place in the plan because he was a narcissist. He fucking bailed on DD as soon as he siphoned money away and made a burger chain.

>Ocelot gets offended
When did this happen again?

He's not that bad, Solid met the actual Big Boss in Foxhound and learned CQC from him. He would've took Liquid down but I doubt he'd kill his son.

Big Boss didn't care about his clones. He only respected Solid because he was a cool guy and the actual descendant of The Boss.
He literally send Snake to die in Outer Heaven.

What I don’t get is that if he was wanted by Cipher and was spending his time building Outer Heaven how did he somehow make it back into America and become Foxhound’s leader? And what did he hope to gain from sending Solid Snake do Outer Heaven?

i had assumed that they were reinforced somewhat to be canon which is how solid snake kills big boss in those games, because it wasn't actually big boss - just venom snake but there was no way to know that at the time. and then in the 4th you meet the real big boss at the end

Can't say I blame you for not hearing it, the tapes have so much useless shit and it's not even a gold tape, but it's one of the tapes regarding Eli after the kids break out and you have to rescue them. Ocelot suggests that he talk to Eli, Miller shuts it down because he says Ocelot would get a kick out of torturing Eli, and Ocelot's response is basically "bro what the fuck kind of person do you think I am?"
I don't think BiBo would've killed him, but he probably would have gotten Eli killed. If not via a suicide mission, then because he would've seen the kids in Africa running around with Assault Rifles and thought that shit was great.

That's honestly one of those moments where Venom breaks through the brainwashing. He suggests using the kids as soldiers like BiBo would've, but unlike BiBo, relents at the idea of giving the kids an education so they can have normal lives, whereas the real deal would've overridden Kaz.
There's a brief period of time between MGSV and MG1 where the Patriot AI isn't fully operational (at least not on par with MGS2/4), but Zero's a vegetable, Skull Face is dead, and Ciper's on ice, so probably around there.

Is this Kazuhira "Nig Knocker" Miller?

come doctor, this way

Zero was basically brain dead at this point and Big Boss probably came back under the pretense of making amends. Back in Peace Walker Cipher wanted MSF to become their private army so it's not that impossible.

OP confirmed kikongo fucking shit

He could use his position as Foxhound's leader to cover up his Outer Heaven activities he's still a highly respected war hero at this tme

Honestly I knew the racist Kaz leaks were fake but I was still a bit bummed that it wasn't a thing.

BiBo would have straight murdered him

Yes. Liquid was just flustered about the whole genes thing. I don't think he truly hated Solid but himself.

This

Lies. Did you played Peace Walker?

He's half-Japanese he just looks white

Big Boss and Cipher actually reconciled over the XOF debacle. Venom was Zero's idea and Ocelot was still Cipher.

>the pre-TPP days are never coming back

This.

>MUH BIBO FORGOT ABOUT ME THAT CUNT. I HATE THAT FUCKER NOW

This the snownigger who straight up told BiBo he was a traitor all along. What did he expect BiBo to do? BiBo should've killed him instead of letting him live but Liquid took care of that tho. Sad that Solid was too green to see it

Did you play Metal Gear 2? Eli goes with the real BiBo, he almost certainly gets KIA as a kid, assuming BiBo doesn't start to see him as a threat.

>video games will never be this fun again

Man maybe I should go through MGSV for the 5th time
Nothing beats the gameplay

Dude. The significance of the child soldiers in the adverts was because people assumed BiBo was going to start the child soldier army he had in the original games. Remember that the Kawaii Para-medic chan became a mad scientist that spearhead Les Infant Terrible and the Genome Soldiers
