OP here. Yea Forums is getting more popular, so bait has become a bit more competitive. This thread is more successful than 90% of bait threads. I've found that floating my ideas on reddit, seeing if they stick, and then posting some of the angry replies I get in the subsequent Yea Forums thread really helps get bumps.
