You're right about that, but Mega Man series is prime time for gacha material. I'm surprised it took them this long ti final get something Battle Network related in the works.
What's really fucking stupid is the recent Mega Man TV show. They decided to redesign every Robot Master so some overly designed mess. A majority of the Masters have the same body types in common, specifically the shapes of the legs and arms. If they stuck with the original designs, they could have done a majority of the Robot Masters as toys by just using a lot of kit bashing techniques. Easy and cheap toyline to produce without needing to create a ton of unique molds.
