I really don't understand why people keep trying to say Vergil DLC is coming when the devs told you after the game out that there isn't anything after bloody palace.

Anything that happens will be at least a year from release, but more than that just be grateful you got a good game that came out

I'm not not expecting anything for DMC5. I'd love Vergil DLC but at this point it'd only be an announcement. Doing Vergil DLC isn't as easy as some think so it would still be a ways off. It would still be easy money for Capcom though but they might be thinking DMC6 with Vergil as a big piece of the story and fully playable would be a better selling point.

Because:
(a) development on the game hasn't ceased, there have been many patches;
(b) they have lied before, their policy seems to be that until something is announced it doesn't exist;
(c) Capcom expects DMC5 to reach 3.5 million this year for some reason;
(d) a Vergil DLC would be free money;
(e) the VAs teased something Capcom didn't allow them to show on panel recently.

lmao nah Capcom knows the best way to make money is to wait until the PS5 comes out and release DMC5 Special Edition with Trish, Lady, and Vergil and more costumes and maybe even co-op in Bloody Palace if they feel like putting in the extra effort.
