Its true. I cant enjoy any other games other than soulsborne games. The only game that came close was mario odyssey.

Try playing some non-action games. It's true From mogs every other action game (except a few by Platinum) but there are tons of other good genres too.
I feel the same way. We live in the best era for video games ever because of Hidetaki Miyazaki and his team.
> DS3 above DS1
Try again
You should check out Hat in Time

Another pleb filtered
I have, and I dont like the changes in MHW. Maybe im just old fashioned but the older titles was just better
Lmao git gud and actually beat the game. Btfo casul
I actually love FromSoftware, thanks for the (You)'s though
Try For Honor or if you wanna have a comfy time some RDR2.
I have for honor for free on epic store. Im shit at pvp. Why do you recommend it user?
If you're shit at PVP why do you only enjoy From games, then? Their combat systems are what make other games less enjoyable to play in comparison, and by extension the PVP. I can't think of a single person who doesn't play Souls for the PVP.
If you just practice, you'll get better though. Fight level 3 bots.
>snake bite over buddy
>plenty of thrusts so you can fight near ally
>creep sweeper
>hidden stance.... KICK
>has some bad matchups 1v1 but can typically displace to ally
I love this bitch
because defeating bosses are satisfying as fuck. I can get by without PVP. Is for honor combat similar to souls?
If anything, For Honor's combat is the next step up from Souls in some ways, but it doesn't have the same simplicity that makes Souls combat interesting. In For Honor while you are locked on you can do directional attacks with your mouse, that have to be blocked by moving your blade in the same direction with your mouse. It allows for some pretty cinematic fights.
Bloodborne is definitely one of the best games ever made. I cant understand how some people not like the game. Unless they're the mobile "gamers"
I saw it had 3 indicators for stances. Is it like sekiro only with additional directions where to block and parry?
I've never played Sekiro, but if you move your mouse to the left, you can attack from the left and block/parry on the left. If you move it to the right yada yada yada. You block simply by matching the direction of the attack coming at you, and parry by using a strong attack at the right timing while blocking in the right direction. You can also dodge, and you can roll but rolling is more for escaping, because it's pretty big distance and takes a lot of stamina. You can guardblock people, and kick them away from you, or throw them off of ledges or into a spike wall.
Quite a few have a 4th. I didnt know parry/deflect was direction based in sekiro. Some characters have "counters". Its stamina based, so blocking removes stamina, USUALLY 1v1 doesnt come down to that.
Im farkin lost after Amelia. Killed beast, tower guy. Im not ready for hunter of hunters yet or + 2 armed ogres with ranged support. What am i missing?
unironically, i feel the same. But I also enjoyed (finished completely within 2 or 3 weeks) new God of War on the hardest mode.
I think we both value or like games that have hand crafted encounters/levels that challenge you. I've tried alot of other games that Yea Forums shills like witcher or red dead and it just loses my interest quickly.
You should also try Prey with survival options turned on.
Prey is fantastic. Play on hardest difficulty.
why is the "soulsborne" fanbase so terrible, just look at this circlejerk of a thread
better than retards like DMC fans or platinum games fans who can't find any reason for liking their games and just say "it's good because it's cuhrazy/comfy/fun!"
I too have a From Soft addiction problem. There are not alot of games left, that fill me with a sense wonder anymore. That said, try Rain World. It's not a Souls like game per se, but it will give you a very similar experience like playing a Souls game for the first time.
Shameless bump for the rain
Sounds like this would handle better with a controller user. An analog stick would probably make the reaction more intuitive than a mouse yeah?
also, you should try sekiro if you like parrying. The game is designed around the idea of blocking and deflecting. You get rewarded the better you are at deflecting attacks and shit. Ofcourse, there's more to it than that. Its good
Parrying is not direction based in sekiro. Just one direction where you can block and its infront of the attack. Its either a block or a parry. You make a parry by making a successful block just before the attack hits you. If you block to early, you get damage to your "stability" (when stability reaches zero you stagger and vulnerable to attacks) and of course if you block to late you get health damage.
Its different to how people usually play soulsborne. But its pretty good. You should try it user
first time playing the game? What weapon did you choose? I suggest getting the axe and use spin to win. You can look it up.
Have you reached forgotten woods? its left of the cathedral I think. Dont do the DLC stuff yet. its scaled for hunters nearing endgame. Goodluck
I am playing sekiro, i was just making sure my timing is what needs fixed. I keep hearing it called "an action game" but it is very hard to go full aggro on mobs larger than 3. Im at shinobu hunter and learning 90% of red kanji is a sweep for him but i want mikiri to stuff him. I guess backstep into backjump keeps you safe either way but i dont like giving him distance. I came far closer killing the Orochi miniboss and that was a 1st attempt. I should probably kill orochi first then get spear guy so i have my first bead set
Yeah i started a while back kinda dropped it with intent to continue. I picked saw whatever and never much looked back, had a blast reaching the point i did. Are the woods behind the password door?? I think woods should be where i need to be. I have too much insight too early as well
I've always had doubts with prey. I haven't tried it. Looks like a generic sci fi shooter. Also the enemies you shoot at are just blobs of black goo. I've thought it similar to bioshock only less interesting.
Am I missing something? I'd really love to know your thoughts on it
If you are talking about the 1st bioshock you arent missing much.
Yeah, people shouldnt talk about how they have the same interest in games. Especially not in a video game forum! Everybody having fun btfo my board!
You need to play more games
Bro!
umad bro?
You still owe a man a beer leon. Piers is the only reason you are alive as well. Chris would've been in the right to put you down there and then, ramifications be damned. I REALLY wanted Chris to shoot him.
shit, I forgot to recommend Hollow Knight. Its really fucking challenging. You'll get the same rush you get when fighting bosses, and the same adrenaline kick after actually beating them.
You'll also find yourself pulling off some insane "maneuvering" without actually having to think of it other than it just felt right at the moment. Its 2d metroidvania with basic movements but you get to combo them together to move around. Its intense as shit
I feel like this is true, too many games have difficulty options whereas it should just be a challenging game regardless. Easy modes should not exist. Kids can overcome challenges. These difficulty modes are for retarded journalists who need to speed run through a game in a weekend so they can shit out their shit opinions online.
I essentially started all these games at once:
>rain world
>nioh
>blood borne
>hollow knight godmaster
>sekiro
Out of the bunch, hollow knight has really dragged its knuckles. I BELIEVE you about all the points you bring up... but when does that happen???
Try to play again from the start, only this time choose the axe as your starting weapon. Use its extended form, its like a polearm.
Use its charge attack while polearm form, its a spinning attack that attacks twice. It has insane reach that will keep you safe from a distance since most mobs have very low reach. It also knocks/stagger enemies down, which will give you another opportunity to charge again. Also does a fuck ton of damage.
Insight helps you summon other players to help you. But you need a bell before you can use it. I cant remember the name, you can look it up
Do you like soulsborne games user? What other games gave you the same rush you had with from soft games?
Im not switching to axe lmao. Im very comfortable with saw blade and boomstick and as i said, had no issue progressing through Amelia. It sounds like i got lost and need to head for the woods. I dont like cheese and prefer it a last resort if at all. But thank you for your earlier mention of woods. If i cant progress there i might swap for axe. Im pretty stubborn though.
That being said, spear gun is alittle disappointing, but maybe im using it wrong or maybe it needs buffed to saw blade levels with gems
Very specifically getting that perfect bunker run in Katana Zero. Lots of katana zero was like that. It just ended too fast :(
>seething casual cant beat from soft games
stop redirecting your frustrations to people who can do simple dodges and attacks user. its really not that hard. Anyone with half a brain can do it
Because from soft games are handcrafted. There are similar games that are also handcrafted. Most linear single player games are like this.
What makes from soft games different is that it was developed around being challenging. Which is different to how games like Uncharted or Tomb Raider are developed. Those feel like puzzles where as soulsborne are skill based linear single player games.
But im not a video game developer and maybe im full of shit
try spamming block. Dont hold the block button when you want to block, just do short presses. Of course try your best to block at the correct window, but if the attack hasnt landed yet, you can try blocking again.
This one tip made parrying easier. Its not perfect. But youll parry more than youll block
I havent tried rain world since it got bad reviews. Do you recommend it?
During bosses that are quick and move a lot, like the Mantis Lords or The trial of fools or the Path of pain. I sometimes do cool moves from comboing pogo attacks with dashes.
I think you know what I mean if you've tried to do Path of Pain and fight Nightmare King Grim
I think spear gun is more useful with agility? Im not sure but weapons have stat biases. Some weapons do better the higher the stat its based on.
Saw is definitely a good weapon. Good damage, fast swings but short reach. You can deal more damage by doing its combo, where you're switching to 2nd form every few swings. You can look it up if you want to know more, most weapons have simple combos.. Also, are you making sure you're weapon is upgraded?
I saw this before, look interesting. Gameplay looks like hotline miami only side scroller, yeah? Also reminds me of Hyperlight drifter and Fury
Which one did you enjoy the most souls bro?
Same. Fromsoft spoiled me and you can only replay Soulsborne so many times.
To Software
so why are soulsborne games good?
Have you played sekiro? Different play style, but still good if youre a fan of ds or bb
I love how capkek workers have no shame trying to shill the game and the dlc
Why don't you go "leak" something more in the mh threads you bastard?
Well you managed to eat the same trite shit for more than a decade, doesn't really surprise me.
i dont know, maybe because finally theres a game I can beat by not mashing X . DMCucks will always seeth at soulsborne
cringe
>i dont know, maybe because finally theres a game I can beat by not mashing X .
Fromdrones everybody
do you have anything against MHW user? Have you tried the previous titles? its niche and has a cult following. You might want to try it if you're remotely interested in MH combat and game loop.
Yeah but by spamming R1 and O. Don't make the soul series so deep it's just spamming the same button even sekiro is just spam the Parry button
and there's better shit out there? If you think from soft games are shit, I couldn't imagine what diarrhea you enjoying waddling in. Git gud
>and there's better shit out there? If you think from soft games are shit, I couldn't imagine what diarrhea you enjoying waddling in. Git gud
try beating the game
>do you have anything against MHW user?
Your shilling
>Have you tried the previous titles?
I'm pretty sure I have played long before you, also have your last instalement since launch, so you can go happy with your lord Ryozo you fuck
>its niche
>mh
>after world's massive marketing campaign
Fuck no user, mh now is "look guys, we have dinos and a movie with the one and only director of those awful resident evil films and his wife" that panders to normies
Of course i have. Day 1, i am a fromsoft addict user.
I dont think you know what being an NPC mean. Most people cant even beat the game. But if you really wanted to post that img user, then ok
seems to me you just have bad taste in games user. Have you tried candy crush? it doesn't require too many brain cells
>I dont think you know what being an NPC mean. Most people cant even beat the game.
Dragons Dogma
I don't think an avid monster hunter player should be talking about brain cells
I hope you buy the blue ray of the upcoming movie user!
Do you like it? How was your transition to the new playstyle?
You're right! MH has become mainstream after the success of MHW. But I was referring to MH before the release of MHW. It definitely had a way smaller fanbase here in the west than what it has now. It is a niche game before MH and definitely had a cult following for the number of fans it had outside of nippon
>g-g-game is b-b-bad because you s-s-shill it
Get BTFO'd by best MH game ever
I havent played DD, from what I've seen it look like skyrim with better combat. Or am I missing something?
Where did I say it's bad? I only said it's been shilled to death like undertale
You forgot how to read and you need to make things up?
It has better combat, but 3 or 4 spells and is missing a fuckton of content because of budget
It's somewhat fun, but in this board is incredibily overrated,
Yeah, you sure showed them Tsujimoto-san!
you will not be a slaying god, go in blind other than "advanced maneuvers", follow the familiar looking glowing fly to progress as intended. Feel free not to. Its very immersive, and can be very frustrating. You are ALWAYS playing the game though every cycle, not much down time or text.
its an adventure and i love it. even if im not super mobile sluggo. Its one i will keep forever.
>mentions undertale
you still seething about that user? how angry are you to still be butthurt about undertales popularity? lmao go get a hobby, theres more to life than games
Im not sure about open world games though user. I've had my fair share of fetch quests
familiar with my combos, i havent summoned or paper'd any boss yet. IM GOIN TO THE FUGGIN FOREST AIGHT? I think you are correct on AGI and spear gun. or a stat similar to AGI. im upgraded
I'll give it a shot if you think its worth it. Is it a platformer like Celeste? Why do you think it got bad reviews from critics?
Don't worry, you're not alone.
This is a symptom of a disease known as: shit taste.
Other symptoms include: butthurt, rampant faggotry, the inability to stop sucking every single cock you come across, making shit threads, being OP.
No one quite knows what causes it and there is no known cure.
I wish you luck, friend.
What must be a pretty fucking sad being if you feel that way
I feel the exact oppositve, plays DaS1 and 2 so many times that i cant even look at anything FROM related anymore, its all the same shit. and 3 was a huge redflag the series and franchise became stale and boring.
its worth it. I wouldnt call it hotline miami side scroller at all. Lethality is real but you can reflect gunshots. (not shells, usually). Its fun when you quit using the time slowing mechanics and clear the stage with real reaction, it feels very rewarding. Mobility is super important in zero as well for example, attacking up and right while airborne will lift you that direction. You can kill riot shielders in numerous ways just sprinting and swinging the sword down at length opens up at least 3 options because you will clash and stagger eachother.
in fact, let me go out of my way to say i torrented into a purchase faster than I ever have any other indie game. And i cant think of any at the moment.
Keep in mind im talking gameplay here. The plot has been received both ways. and it is more important to itself than say, hotline.
The forrest is the level where you get to lose track of direction. Basically you'll get lost. Shiny coin is useful here. You should have loads of them by now.
Try to not invest too much on Agi, theres a soft cap on levels. You're still far from reaching it but its good to know earlier on that you'll have limited stats to invest on. Most of your stats should probably go to Vitality, maybe endurance if you do lots of combos. Do you parry a lot with your gun?
celeste gameplay consists of "sure things"
while this is true in rain world as well (proper timing and execution WILL reward you) there are too many OTHER things going on and the clock is ticking. You are surviving in rain world not thriving. I think it got bad reviews because its vision is too broad and a few more enemies and gimmicks really wouldn't have hurt it. But some of the charm (if not most) is being the slug cat.
Emotionally, it feels like Heart of Darkness, depending on how you view nature without humans
Thanks user! I needed that. Btw hows that mobile game you've been spending so much time on? I've heard that mobile game developers are making their games more and more accessible. Maybe someday they can finally make a game your mentally challenged mind can keep up with.
very yes on parry, its almost too easy. So i have no idea why i shit the bed with the hunter of hunters and armed ogres. I went in and parried Amelia like she was my bitch 3rd attempt. Glad i saved the paper
Well thats the point user, It got you to replay the game so multiple times. Compared to other games you've finished, think you had a good time but not enough to play again.
I'll get sick of it if I play it enough times sure, but what doesnt?
>crack DS3 to see what the fuss is about
>look up some tutorials first
>they say for first run pick knight or whoever the armor and sword/shield guy is
>first level
>it's the tutorial level
>barely make it to the boss
>get assblasted 20 times
>look up a video
>dude just runs up to it naked and rolls around, two shots it
>"wait there's a P2?"
>15 more tries, boss shapeshifts
>stunlocks my ass to oblivion
>uninstall
I'm a brainlet and I don't give a shit
You can't go wrong with Centurion.
Most of people STILL don't know to fight against him and you get lots of fun in dominion.
Sounds fun enough to try, Is it one of those games where you try to clear a level with a high score by doing creative kills?
>Try playing some non-action games. It's true From mogs every other action game (except a few by Platinum) but there are tons of other good genres too
thats a funny way to spell Nobushi
*poke*
is it like that game My friend Pedro?
>DMC
>Mashing X
Based user. You beat the game by going unga bunga on the default jump button? Shut the fuck up.
if you can get nioh on sale, definitely give it a try
I know that problem all to well. I don't think Fromsoftware's games are perfect by any means, but they scratch a particular itch that makes me wanna play them, moreso than most other games.
To be fair, Nobushi too.
But I'm not wrong about Cent. So many people have issues to fight against him, looks like PTSD.
This sums up my first experience with dark soul. But over time i keep coming back to see if i can approach it with different mindset. I dropped the game at gundyr 3 times before it finally clicked.
DS3 assumes you have already played the previous games, it's a really bad starting point.
nothing like that on your first playthrough, its there to tell a narrative and you are there to carry it out any way you'd like. Then you unlike modes like you mentioned. Every chapter is set up in what i call "screens" that is, 1 screen, you can see quite a bit of what you can traverse if not all. You need to kill all the enemies on the screen, you will then get a nice clip of your successful attempt of the screen without time slowing down and other details, but thats all you need to know about that. The bunker chapter is special because it melds all your screen successes together back to back and gives you that replay to watch in full. Its great
>make one good game
>copy it forever to keep the money rolling
Miyazaki is a hack.
Furthermore, Souls is over. The magic of the franchise is long gone and DS1 and Bloodborne are the only ones worth playing anyway. The rest is uninspired and dull. Especially DS3 was outright bad in how hard it tried to be "Dark Souls".
Like, remember how in DS1 you'd go halfway through the game before seeing your first mimic(if you followed the standard route), yet in DS3 it feels like half the chests are fucking mimics. It feels like a fucking fangame in how formulaic and copy pasted of Souls elements it is.
Let the plebs have their franchise forever until they choke on it.
Souls-likes are over as far as creativity goes. Hopefully something new will come in due time.
seeing as katana released first afaik it would be the other way around and even then, i have played and beat that game as well and enjoyed it for very different reasons. The first thing i will say about my friend, you have health. I would wait for a sale on my friend though. unless you have a hardon for guns. It is terribly satisfying to rag yourself into a flip and shotgun slo-mo to blow a guys face off behind you as you are rotating
Youll get a lot of value then with the Skill stat, gives you more damage with visceral attacks I think. Which means more lifesteal. The hardest bosses in the game can be parried. If its humanoid you can be sure it can be parried. This is the best way to deal huge damage.
You also dont want to get one shot in endgame
and DLC content and you want to have lots of stamina, Many bosses will try to get distance from you to do long range attacks. You dont have defense against long range attacks except for rolling. You dont want this to happen so you want to keep chase and get close. so try to prioritize vitality and endurance.
im a complete fuckin scrub but im not stupid, Cent and Nobu were both very appealing. I just wanted to poke and hidden stance kick while creep sweeping and being an overall hassle to the enemy. Im not the best 1v1, but i dont think i need to be in dominance
kek them dodges, i love nioh. I wanted to go Orochi Katana, but i knew i needed Orochi Spear.
Relatable, all new players goes through this phase where they almost stop playing for good.
But sooner or later they come back, out of curiosity. Then they somehow last a little longer on the boss fight. Got the dodge rhythm right a few times more than before. Then eventually after a few more trial and error, will finally beat the first boss. Thats when you finally gain momentum and try to beat the game for real this time.
me and blood crazed beast met in the middle of his arena. I do the chasing senpai. I did NOT know about skill effecting visceral attacks, and i USE lifesteal. I may now consider restarting. I was pretty heavy in stamina vit and end, feeling like i would know when to start a specialization dump as far as points go.
I dont know why but I've had the similar "click" moment. Usually after beating the first few bosses. Then I finally get enough momentum to finish the game
anything you'd like to share user?
sometimes its really as simple as putting the game down and trying again the next day, or hours or whatever. Its the tilt that kills. once you feel predator mode hit... you know what needs done then.
no, but im sure someone with mental disablity who's capable enough to mash X can beat DMC.
>it takes skill to beat DMC
kek
Rolling is your greatest power, can't remember if knight starts with a fat roll or not. If he's not rolling smoothly, just unequip a piece of armor.
I've played it! I like the concept. Diablo like soulsborne. Didnt like the recycled enemies, but its tolerable. Havent finished it though. DLC crazy hard. Have you beat it user?
>didnt mention sekiro
What the FUCk went wrong FROMbros?
Souls games aren’t the best of the best. Not even from From. That would be Sekiro.
It's trash for incels who literally have nothing better to do
but the real question, Do you get to feel like a samurai?
too short no rp stuff.
>franchises recycles the same game over and over
>DS3 wasnt like Dark Souls
pick one user. You complain DS recycles its formula but complain how DS3 is just not the same as the first one.
I dont get it, do you want more changes added to each game or do you want it to be as similar as the last one?
Because it’s another Souls game essentially. It’s a great game if you play it before the Souls games or you had played only one Souls game before, but if you had played DS1/DS2/DeS before it came out and then played it, you’d feel burned out from the formula, let alone anyone who has played DS3 before as well.
It’s just a matter of which Soulsborne game you play first that determine which ones you like best. To me the only From game in recent times which truly deviated from Souls was Sekiro, and they were able to do some great things with it that feel like a breath of fresh air. That’s why I didn’t feel burned out playing it even though I had played all the Soulsbornes before and that’s why I thought it’s overall their best work due to how much it stands out form the rest and how well polished it is.
>soulsbornekiro
it's a mouthful
Soulsbabbies will find any excuse to justify hating Sekiro because in reality they got filtered and are shit at the game. I can’t tell you how many posts just on Yea Forums alone I’ve read complaining about how tanky bosses are and how much time they have to spend on them chipping away their health, and it just shows how they can’t and won’t play the game properly because they’re mentally deficient and they suffer for it.
its a known fact that DS1 is the worst one. Obviously nostalgia fags will say otherwise. Worst bosses (mostly cheap gimmick bosses), worst OST, worst combat, worst PvP...
Fucking yes you goddamned do. Reflecting shots without slowing time means you dont see the damn bullet. And you CAN react fast enough or move fast enough to close the gap, again, without needing to slow time.
There are some times you feel like a guy in a bathrobe. But you're an honourable warrior right user?
This is the splash screen (black background). I wish they made shirts. Id buy one
Blood crazed beast is a good boss to practice parrying. In fact, its best to defeat him that way. Also he's attracted to pungent blood cocktail. Throw it in a wall and he'll get distracted. Also bosses have weaknesses(fire magic etc) and Vagina Beast is weak to fire. Use fire paper to ignite weapon and deal fire damage. You dont have to worry about Elemental weakness really. Most people ignore it. Just thought it would help
You're still to early in the game for your stat allocation to matter. You'll have more levels since you have DLC too.
There are not many action games like Dark Souls. I love the whole combo, and FromSoftware is pretty much the only developer doing Soulsbornevanias.
True, the longer I get into the game, the less tilted I get too.
I get to accept that Im gonna die a lot so why make so much fuss about it? By the time I reach endgame, I dont rage quit anymore instead I stop to rest my eyes from concentrating too much. How bout you?
My gaming career the last 10 years has just devolved into waiting for Souls-likes. Nothing really compares. The last non-Souls game I bought was DKC:TF in 2015.
This Dodge if you can, Dont fat roll. Quick and nimble is proably the best way to go.
Nigga i didnt need papers. I just gotta play again. Thank you for your council though
DeS > 1 > BB > 3 >>>>> 2
Same, it becomes difficult to put down. I have cleared some of the most stupid fights with pure unorthodoxed strats. Then its just a matter of breaking the rest of the fights if you want. Really see what you can make the ai do. When you do not fear it, you want to toy with it.
I dont know about that but I find sekiro easier than other souls game. Blocking an attack is way easier than predicting sweeping attacks from bloodborne games. You'd have to think about positioning, how far the reach is of the attack, is it ok to dodge to the left? right? forward or back?
You have less to think about in Sekiro. Its just block/parry with the occasional spoon fed unblockable attack animation.
It's like an abusive relationship. Game beats the shit out of you but you crawl back for more anyway because you love it.
i dont know user, I usually spend my time playing video games and watching porn. do you think I got what it takes to be the next Hattori Hanzo?
Goodluck user!
have you tried nioh? its a little different than souls games, there's gear mechanics and other stuff. Think Diablo gear system and DS3 combined. its a great alternative to from soft games.
Have you tried Sekiro?
Then buy katana zero play the game, and be the best guy in a bathrobe you can be and, God forbid, enjoy at your leisure. I didnt say you had to play like i did. I did say this game is worth it. Especially for people who enjoy video games and mastrubating.
Just.... think about the children alright?
It will be a glorius hunt!
Those are all things you have to think about in Sekiro as well you might want to replay it and get past Ashina Outskirts
You must have absolute shittaste then. From games have factually bad level design, factually repetitive as fuck "combat", no puzzle solving, no real story, barely any music (and what ist here is literally Sakuraba's worst), shit graphics, shit performance.
Every game is the same. You're basically human dog shit.
Go back to Plebbit or Resetera, they agree with you
idk user, it just dont think about positioning as much when fighting bosses, other than when I need to heal or an object is obstructing my camera.
That’s because you’re not thinking enough. If you’re not always trying to get behind your boss you’re failing.
Like what? If that post is not bait then i truly pity you.
Alright! Its either you really like the game user and you just want to share the experience or you're the developer trying to shill the game. Either way, Im interested enough to put it on my wishlist and wait for a sale. Thanks!
git gud noob
idk maybe try dragon's dogma and stick with it for a while
>soulsborne games
>games
Why is these even a thing when the only great games are DaS and BB?
The rest is mediocre stuff that some people get attached to for reasons, like multiplayer in DaS2 but they're just meh games.
>see the spear going through the wall
>stand there anyway to make a point
if the point was you being retarded on purpose then congratulations, you outdid yourself
Well maybe thats where our playstyle differs. I've never tried to go out of my way to do attacks from behind. Parrying successive attacks and punishing by mikiris and sweep attacks are more enjoyable for me. But if backstabs are your thing, then more power to you
I've been playing Dishonored 1 on the hardest difficulty and it's pretty enjoyable tbqh
I played BB after DS1 and 3, and it's only second to DS1. Its equipment system and playing style deviate heavily from the traditional Souls formula, and the setting and tone are much different. The game is darker, gorier, and grittier than even DS3 (which was just if DS1 and BB had a baby). DS3 is the most derivative game
>DS1 and Bloodborne are the only ones worth playing
And Demon's Souls you fucking faggot
cope, git gud
Im really passionate about the game and i REALLY think if the game had more exposure it would explode in popularity. There WILL be a sequel. There IS a chapter you play a completely different character with a few perks the MC doesnt have (you might even feel a little like vergil). It played very well, so i do have faith in these folks. They just need some love. The OST is also very very good, and has its own unique role in the game.
sorry for having such a bad taste in games user. Please, enlighten me and show me the game you think has better combat than from soft games...
Also, why the fuck would I want to exoect to have puzzle solving and "muh real story" in an ACTION GAME? Its like saying a Visual Novel game has poor combat mechanics.
how long were you waiting to post this user? Were you seething in a corner, readying to pounce for the perfect moment to post this webm and show everyone how shit bloodborne is and how its ok for you to not be able to beat the game? Its ok user, some people just dont have it. Let it go. You can still try mobile games. Its more suited for people for people with your pace
im not sure about the open world part user. Theres probably a million fetch quests out there
youtu.be
Not even that user but you are no fun at parties i guarantee that
Its better than from games with its own flaws but thats my opinion
I like BB setting. It was a breath of fresh air for action games in Victorian England. Also the execution was spot on. Which setting did you like more? BB or DS?
i dont even have to try. I should've known you were a DMCuck. When you played BB you tried to mash X didnt you? and when that didnt work you mashed harder? Yeah, dont you hate it when games require you to use your brain? I hate it when that happens! Better go back to playing DMC. It has better puzzles and story anyway.
>DMC story
>good
kek, you actually expect video games to have good stories? read a book
No i learned how to parry and proceeded to hunt. I fuckin died, you did too, in both games. And i got good like you did, in both games. I have plenty of nice things to say about bloodborne, it does not change my opinion or the fact that both games are flawed. Dont even pull your next card of From Games, ive played them, ive beaten them. Just like Devil May Cry. Its the same thing with you, you are so narrow minded when there is so much fun to be had, and so many games to play. Is that the price for power? Isnt it always?
Madness
Especially if you turn the markers off and never use shadow vision. Use the heart to look for secrets, use your brain to avoid guards and navigate the environment, just like it was meant to be played.
But mashing the dodge and parry buttons takes all the skill in the world, right? I can't imagine anyone who plays games regularly thinks Souls is "hard." Or are you just shit at it? All you fucking do is bait the AI and parry or dodge and fucking repeat. How can someone's head be stuck so far up their ass that they don't realize they're eating their own shit?
