It's a glitch in the coding, the game gets confused at how ending to give because you set the flags for multiple endings. If you play it like the GBA games and only do one A support per couple, you will have no problems.

The game works off a hidden point value between characters, the same point value also determines where characters rank on their "close allies" thing under the roster. They'll automatically pair off with their highest possible ally at the end of the game and will go further down the list of other allies are unavailable due to being with Byleth for instance.
Just make sure allies are of sufficiently high points with each other beforehand and you're fine, no extra bullshit required.

Wouldn't be surprised if they add units that would have a rattle immunity skill, pushing those at the start for more fragile units and then later on giving them to enemy fliers, cavalry and some other units might force people to play a bit more defensively (or atleast change more aggressive skirmishing strategies to require a bit of caution and preparation)

i've been on/off following the datamines for the harder difficulties and so far i've heard that bandits now have pass as an ability. no more making a wall for blocking unless you do like a cross/archer cuck formation. i just hope whatever the free dlc is, that it's actually decent enough early on so that you can manage maybe up to getting enlightened one with minimal recruitment.

For monsters, it's OK. Being able to slip a cavalry, Pegasus or any speedier unit to evaporate everything squishy and getting away scott free while the enemy units sit in Rattle isn't. It's one of the reasons why mounted units are currently so strong.

The art direction sucks but everything else about it is top tier. The character models are great too, it's literally just the portraits that're garbage. The game is a clear 10/10 and easily one of if not the best in the franchise. NOTE: It's not my favourite Fire Emblem game, but I'd consider it the best.

Other than that, my complaints are as follows:

>First route is Blue Lions for the best route in the game, best characters and to see the story's perspective from an outsider
>Second route is Black Eagles, now that you've seen the other side you won't be taken in by Edelgard's propoganda, but you will understand why she did what she did
>Third route is Church of Serios, since you can just reload a save from right before the key decision. This means you don't have to do all of part 1 for the third time

If you really wanna do Golden Deer then that's fine, but it's a lot faster to do the Church route instead.

by the time Jeralt died even he was beginning to think he was mistaken about Rhea.

I think Part 2 should've swapped the monastery for an army camp in places. The last chapter before the time skip in Black Eagles did that and I really liked it.

The only route that I've played where it makes sense as to why they're stationed at the monastery after the time skip was Eagles as they do it primarily to fuck with Rhea and that they're just a small strike force in the large imperial army which is stated to take control and run the areas you capture.

People who have never lifted can't even lift the bar alone sometimes.

This honestly, the game becomes such a drag in part 2 because of all the unneeded months that are stripped of all the things that made them interesting in part 1.

After you begin showing emotions and becoming truly human, he lets go of any lingering resentment towards Rhea, he's perfectly fine with her by about halfway through Part 1.
