Both RE4 and RE2Remake adaptive difficulty.
Bad Mechanism in a good game
RE4: Low mobility, QTEs, escort mission, weapon switching done in a menus.
I'm pretty sure that's bias user.
Ada in RE4 is best Ada and you can't prove me wrong
RE4 Ada had a bit of manface going on. She was top in RE6 tho. 10/10 design.
It's a scary thing isn't it user? It was a fundamentally perfect game until people figured out the game has dynamic difficulty for all players.
Do you know why League of Legends changes it's flavor of the month characters and meta? It's because the mouth foaming content creators figure out the game.
RE4 is a survival horror game. One of the most important things in survival horror is limited functionality. Encounters wouldn't be scary or intense if you knew for sure you could bullet time your way out of it like RE6
Also one more thing, other games probably have dynamic difficulty but *don't tell you* as well as PVP games like the EA and Activision matchmaking patent.
you honestly have to be bad at the game if you think RE4's escorting was hard. Ashley is so fucking easy to take care of
All of RE4's "cons" are deliberate design decisions to better fit the setting and tone. Compare RE4s gameplay to RE6's, where basically are fucking Max Payne. All tension is lost.
>RE4 adaptive difficult is bad.
Unless you are speedrunning like a retard shit is hardly a issue.
that's because RE6 is an action game dumbass. The tension is in the gameplay.
Not him but you are full of shit, It was immediately apparent to me the first time it happened and i felt cheated every time.
Dynamic difficulty is an absolute garbage mechanic. It's a detriment to every single game it ever showed up in.
>Some extra mobs and more HP all around.
Wow virtually impossible.
dumb anime poster
I was talking about the game making it easier for me if i failed a section. It's like the "Would you like to play on easy mode" pestering but it happens constantly and without my consent.
>convinently ignoring the godawful platforming sections in max payne
I'm so tired of racists and their duplicity
Then stop dying.
So how does the adaptive difficulty work in re4? First I've heard of it. Please no fucking youtuber shit.
Think about your reply for a second. You see what you did there? You fucked up and outed yourself as the compulsive shitposting low IQ person you really are.
Great argument shit breath
There as a video that showcased it on youtube but i can't find it.
Basically there's a hidden point and tier system in place. Things like killing enemies, not taking damage and headshots award points, things like taking damage and dying subtract points. Based on your point score you get dynamically moved up or down hidden difficulty tiers. The higher your tier the more aggressive the enemies will be, the more damage they will do and the more enemies there will be per encounter. The differences between the highest and lowest tier are actually massive.
