I've never played a gacha before, so I had no idea how they worked and I decided to look into them. From what it looks like, judging by the videos of FGO, Azure Lane, Soccer Spirits etc that I watched, mostly everything is just static drawings (sometimes chibi) tweened a bit, if even animated at all.
Are these games ALL like Fire Emblem Heroes? I thought you guys were playing something like Senran Kagura. It's all just pngs!
Why not just look at the lewd pics on the wiki? It's literally the same thing! Do you really need that 5* anime slut that badly? Do people really spend money on these games? Why are anime boobs, butts, armpits, feets etc so effective at getting people to play these games? I wish I could go back in time and create Animeslut RNG PNG Beach Party before anyone else does, and bring in billions of revenue a year.
It's usually some kind of very simplistic management mechanic combined with big tiddy anime girls spilling out of tiny too-tight outfits. The entire thing is designed to prey on people with addiction problems with carrot-on-a-stick style rewards for spending money. It's the absolute definition of soulless. The problem with Gacha is you need something to draw players in to really be successful, so you need an existing brand like Fate or Fire Emblem or some developer, writer, or artist people like.

Sorry OP, but I only play Dragalia Lost; a proper non-jewish gacha game that doesn't rely on sex appeal to hook people in, despite still having some tasteful art and something for every taste, from yaoi to yuri.

I'll admit I've fallen for a few, mainly used them to stave off boredom. The one I will defend though is Gundam Battle Operation 2. First because it's an actual game and also because instead of waifus you roll for mecha and use them in third person team fights, which is music to /m/ loving soul. It also lets you play it as much as you want with non of that energy gauge bullshit alot of gachas seem to be fond of.
