I didn't know about weight and rolling in Dark Souls until blighttown

I had no clue you were able to fast travel in Skyrim

What'd you do? Depend hard on enemy weaknesses to certain damage types then obtain Demonbrandt?

I beat Ninja Gaiden and I didn't even know you could take damage

Beat Sonic Mania and had no idea about the drop dash. Did it accidentally a few times but I mostly just stuck to the spindash until I beat the game and watched some vids on it. Cool mechanic.

I only found out about 2D Metroid games' shinespark last year.

>major mechanic

I got the Platinum trophy for bloodborne not knowing parrying was a thing the whole playthrough

I beat Souls 2 twice before leveling ADP. It's not necessary anyway

I beat RE 2 and I didn't even know you had to put in the disc.

Chaos Legion.
Didn't know you could manually aim with these guys, using an actual crosshair.

I finished medievil a few hundred of times and only recently noticed that you can hold a button to strafe.

I beat FFXII and didn't know you could level up your abilities or change equipment.

>Wasting your time on a shit game
Loser.

>digital copy

I think I know what the drop dash is and I still don't know what the fuck it's for.

>Medievil

there's an area in SM where you get locked in until you shinespark, so it's kinda essential

I didnt know about weight and rolling up till izalith........ i-i am a sutbborn person

Not really a major mechanic but when I played the DMC hd collection I beat dmc 1 and didn’t know about those pause combos dante had, I’d occasionally accidentally do them but never knew how I did it.

>>didn't know you could upgrade weapons
yep, same

Good thread concept. I spent like 70 hours in Fallout: New Vegas before I realized I could repair my armor with other armor of the same type, no tools or workbench required.

beat kingdom hearts 1 without any abilities because i didnt know what they were for, was a kid

My first playtrhu of skyrim i did not know the dragon claws had the combinations in them

I beat almost all the souls never using parry.

More like a retarded person

Yeah bruh, D Claws spec is OP as hell
