are you reading, or playing it?

playing it

awful framerate but cool story, characters, music

Absolute shit tier performance.
Absolute shit tier story and characters.
Decent soundtrack.

Playing as a fun whore, killing a bitch, a virgin bitch, a creepy bitch, the one that was nice so she suffered most, and a smart bitch.
Fucking their men inbetween.
Also Accord best girl.

Is the MC actually a slut or is it just a meme.

Awesome game hindered by terrible frame rate and performance. Have fun with the final boss if you make it there.

A truly terrible game saved by its strange attitude.

also: break out a guide/wiki/faq and get all the chests in every level and collect/buy all the weapons because the game is going to force you to do it whether you want to or not.

Canonically gets sold as a prostitute by her mother at young age and she fucks her party members between missions.

Don't summon your dragon. It will tank your FPS so hard that it actually makes things slower.

Extremely repetitive combat and mission structure that belongs on a bargain bin PS2 action game
Framerates that regularly dip into single-digit territory and otherwise chug like a motherfucker just trying to maintain 30
Dialogue and characters that range from highly endearing and intriguing, to insulting and obnoxiously infantile depending on your familiarity with Yoko Taro stuff and your own tastes; some people love it, some fucking loathe it
A bunch of cute girls, especially pic related
Unironically one of the coolest final bosses in the past decade of gaming that almost singlehandedly makes it worth suffering through the rest of the game

Drakenguard 3 is an unironic middle finger to JRPG players. If you go into it with a conventional mindset, you WILL hate it. It wants you to hate it. Go into it with the understanding that it is a satire of JRPG protagonists, NPC party members, and good vs evil tropes.

Also Just watch a let's play on Youtube, really.

Is it really shit? I downloaded it because I really enjoyed Nier Replicant and thought why not, but my backlog is large enough to justify not wasting my time with irrelevant kusoge
How long is the weapon grind for the true end? I dropped The Witch and the Hundred Knight because the game made you grind for a good few hours before you could keep going at it in the true route

Drakengard 3 is a vastly different game from NieR in nearly every way. Tone, music, character design, dialogue, etc. Don't go into it expecting an experience like NieR's.
The weapon grind is long but not hard. IIRC you mostly just have to grind money for upgrades, which can be done by opening a new tab and button mashing through side missions for a few hours.

>Is it really shit?
No

An unlikeable MC.

It's pretty fucking horrible, the combat, the level design, the dragon stages, the side-missions, the performance, everything hangs around a 3/10 level. It makes up for it in other ways though, if you can stomach actually playing it.

and if you collect every weapon in every stage the first time though the grind at the end is still a few hours of you just doing side-quests for gold to buy the rest. If you miss weapons in your playthrough? You might have to replay basically every stage in every route.

is this the game with the final boss that goes with the music? I never played it but I beat that boss for my friend because he was distraught over how unfair it was. beat it in 3 tries (last note fucked me up) and it never ceases to amaze me how simple rhythm to a song is the one thing that consistently filters most gamers.

Do you already play music? I've seen people experienced with music breeze through that fight, where music theory brainlets like myself take two hours to do it.
I basically had to learn what time signatures were, from scratch, just to beat it.

yeah I did. I just watched the fight on youtube and I can see now how it could be hard for people. you're right, it does change time signatures and whatnot and while it might feel natural to me I can see the challenge. the problem my friend had was he was trying to do it visually and didn't even notice the music lines up with it

Only redeeming element is the music.

It'd be a lot more fairer of a challenge if it didn't kill you in one hit and didn't make you sit through the one minute long intro every single time. I just used the visualizer video after struggling it with six hours, and even then it took me a few hours to beat.
Fuck the last part, and I would've probably thrown my TV out the window if I made it without the video and got killed by those absolute bullshit last three notes.

Terrible shit that ends up being a fun experience, but only in retrospect. Actually playing the game is hell on earth.

Drakengard 1 ~ 3 Remakes, when?

Thirsty, thirsty whores with super powers.

I heard she has a dick

Picked the fuck up.
