ITT: we brainstorm scenes for a Lobo Corp short animated film

My idea is:

As the gigachad ultimately accepts their fate and finishes charging the clock, anomalies are seen busting through the door (although their too late because the clock is finished) and X is seen sitting in a bloody and destroyed control room, doing a gendo pose with his hands as he watches this happen through a half broken monitor. All to the tune of “tout est perplexe“, with the crescendo happening as the gigachad charges the clock and remembers their friends.

Restarting is an integral game mechanic so don’t fear about losing employees too much, because you can always restart the day or memrepo (which is basically a checkpoint but you’ll still keep all the equipment you gained when reverting back to it)

Game suddenly starts gobbling way more RAM than normal for no apparent reason, usually happens if you’ve been playing too long or if you did a core suppression. For me it’s usually about 6 GB, which I can narrowly handle if I close everything before I start playing and just let it run its course as it stays frozen on Activating Enkephalin, but it can easily cause your game to crash and lose your day’s progress if you don’t have that much available when it leaks

Game runs fine for the most of the time. Longer days can be taxing but I've never had the game crash 'cept when I mashed a specific red button. It just takes a while to free up memory after the longer days. If you like management style games give it a pirate imo, it's not for everyone. Cool story and lore too.

fallout shelter with not-SCPs, waifus on the side. performance issues only really get bad on long days or some of the boss fights where there are screen filters/effects. translation is still a little rough around the edges, but the lore is surprisingly interesting and deep. if you pirate it and end up liking it, maybe buy it when it's on sale or something to support the devs

I tried pretty hard to enjoy this game but the repetitive stuff started to get very tedious, especially considering one of your little niggas could just up and die at any moment and then you'd have to do it all over again. The alternative is, continue whenever they die and then eventually be way too understaffed to progress.

The UI is a total mess too, makes the micromanagement parts of the game *awful* to play. Like when you're trying to kill a strong abnormality and you need to kite it.

On the first few days there’s no penalties, but from Day 6(?) onward meltdown level increase comes with increasingly that punish you for grinding outside of your means. Also there’s diminishing returns for stat increases, you CAN take your nuggets from base to max on ZAYINs (like the skull) and TETHs (like the little bird) but it’s going to be a colossal fucking chore because their low risk level means they “pay out” less.

How the fuck do I deal with memory leaks? After my first attempt at day 46, the memory usage reached 6 GB and the game crashed. I did restart the game beforehand, so it all accumulated in a single mission.

Is there a way to unfuck the leak during the mission? Sometimes (like Tipereth submission) the mission takes so long that I am not even able to finish it before it reaches critical point. Lost two good attempts to crashes before I was able to clear it without any fatalities.

I rushed meltdowns as fast as possible. Had every single employee doing works constantly back to back to back. Only had them stop and group shit during any Dusk, Violet Noon, or Indigo Noon. Used Frieschutz request to two-shot Green Noons and a handful of agents to kill Crimson Noon. Lucked out and got Green Midnight, which basically won me my run of that Core Suppression. You should have retried the day instead of continuing. Without Chesed's core suppression you lose anything your employees were wearing if they die/are Out of Control. Don't ever continue after a wipe, just retry.

Why not both? Sephirah Yotsuba could use Hod or Tiphereth as a base, Sephirah Anonymous could use Chesed or Yesod as a base? Initially, of course. Real effort would require a completely new sprite and not any edit of an existing one.

Don't bother grinding until much later when you've got HEs or better. But it's worth getting employees to each stat breakpoint (going from I to II to III and so on) so just pay attention to who you're sending to do what type of work.

Go with the flow for now. The early abnos don’t level your stats much and you’re generally expected to have to do a day one memerepo at least once.

If you beat the fuck out of crazy agents with white damage type weapons, they'll refill the agent's sp gauge and eventually briing them back to normal. If you beat the fuck out of them with any other type though it'll just kill them

In the early game I'd say getting your Fortitude and Prudence to at least level II, whether it be from LOB points or some light grinding on an abnormal like Skullbro, is nice so your agents don't topple over from a light breeze hitting their SP/HP bar.

What type of work are you doing on the static? Put on skullbro's equipment and do repression (the blue one)

Keep your employees behind him because the instant his munch animation STARTS everyone in front of him will die.
When he raises his lamp have everyone back off and then pause and single out the marked employee and send him to another department. Then send your killball back in.

1 - find the face you want to change (i used angela_glad3) and export its dump

2 - find the line vector2f textureRectOffset, it should be somewhere at the bottom

3 - change the values, for example the original file had x at 33 and y at 43, i changed the y to -100 and the face shifted down

What are you struggling with? If its something specific perhaps you could use some tips. Memes aside, read the manual, and play the tutorial. The first 10~15 days will ease you into the rest of the game, but it's still gonna be a hard one.

I think the fact that system fails are inevitable is daunting to me. I'm not sure if just straight up ignoring some scps is correct or I'm majorly fucking up.

I am jelly that the only way to get merch is to hire some dude to go out and get them for you then ship, or maybe if the devs go to another con or something in Japan you could probably get it a bit easier.

Sometimes you will get something you just can't deal with put of pure (bad) luck. If it comes to the point where you just can't even ignore it, it may be time to Day 1. Remember that memrepoing stuff is always a possibility.
However, try to beat the first couple bosses before returning to Day 1. Their rewards are one of the many things you keep, including EGO gear and information.

Most people only ever beat it once for his weapon and gift, and roll with that. It's one of the hardest fights in the game by far,and even after that it becomes a second, more lenient but far more punishing Train to a Slightly Better Place.

The the third phase AI has some trouble with believing that Justitia is a ranged weapon, so she will miss half the time with it if you go in with a Pinks/Adoration/Star dude. For some reason it also turns around when there's no one on the other side too?

Yeah, that’s what was happening with me, made it easier than the first stage even.
Fourth phase had her hunt down and murder one of my low justice straggler and then get caught in a rest animation while the rest of my horde caught up and beat her to death. Not aure if that was a bug or part of the phase’s mechanics.

So I need to get a Dusk ordeal done so I can start working on these core supressions, what sort of gear and chads would I be looking at getting for that?

All your IV and above chads will destroy the ordeals once you get their gimmicks down. You should've trued to do them sooner, honestly. If they are still giving you trouble: Amber can only attack from the front, Crimson will matryoshka into many clowns, and for Green ignore the robots as much as possible and approach the factories slowly with your chad deathball while keeping you low levels safe. The factories can't attack or spawn robots if the previous ones are all alive
For the supps, Succ Star will be very annoying for one of them. Make sure to do Hod's asap. Good luck, Manager!

Is it true that you can't do both Binah and Hokma's core suppressions in a single run and have to return to day one after you've done one if you want to do the other? Which one is more useful to have for the early-game grind? I'm guessing Hokma's reward is the increased Justice cap which would be useful to have.

You can do both if you upgrade both departments at once, one each day, and then memrepo after you do one of the supps. You might want Hokma's reward for Binah's, which is the second hardest challenge of the game, but you decide.

I'm currently on 1 records and 4 extraction at day 40 so I might go for Binah first, not sure if it's too late to do both.

Pretty sure it is. I'd recommend memrepoing to 36 and doing it correctly. Or just roll with it and Day 1 anyways. Gotta get the 100% ending sooner or later.

Regarding the good doctor,I heard you can't memrepo the clock, but can you kill the blessed employees to some effect?

If a blessed employee dies or you restart the day after they get blessed and there isn't a full amount he'll just make up the difference with random employees once the clock is full.

The game is quite popular in Japan and Korea(obviously), garnering a small but sizable fanbase there.

For some reason, russians also enjoy their game, and the semi-famous russian tubers like ViteC and The Mako having played several sessions.

Otherwise the game is still very niche in the west. Once somebody famous picks up the latest version you can expect more traffic, for better or for worse
