You know how games tend to sell millions in the west and thousands in japan?
It's the opposite of that.
this, world wide outside of japan it sold less then a million.
And thank god to, hope they will just drop it and work on making final fantasy better
you know that's not how it works, right?
>final fantasy
Oh please, FF is basically a trash pile of dead vermins now.
Only FFXIV is good, hopefully Yoshi can save the train wreck that is the main line
Just wait for the smashtards to buy into it
eat shit. at least DQ is still an actual JRPG unlike FF
desu I only fap to jade and have no desire to play any dq games
>FF
Been shit for years
>SMT
Dead since 2016 with no news of SMTV for years
So how is DQ?
500k in the west is bad for this series, end of story.
DQX West release when
Still unpopular in the West
This pic is almost a year old
>SMT 2 to 3
>9 year gap
>SMT 3 to 4
>10 year gap
>SMT 4 to 5
>?? year gap
is it really that surprising we haven't heard anything about it yet. i'm sure it'll drop right on schedule in 2023
Game deserves more sales in the west. Fantastic game
she’d look good with purple lipstick to balance out the green
How many copies did it SELL, you fucking spic.
If the auxiliary verb "did" is in past tense, the main verb is in present tense.
Unless your name is pokemon your jrpg will have no legs
Jade is cute.
We can beat that in no time, Switchbros.
>not buying the Switch version so you can marry her
You'll be missing out big time.
If only I had the time to play it.
It comes out in a month and a half, you have plenty of time to organize your shit.
nice ballsack lol
Dragon Quest 11 already made a combined 200 million in sales.
Final Fantasy sales are atrocious. It's over ambitious for it's own good so much that the cost eats up it's sales, and leaves Square flat broke. Too many over ambitious directors and game designers trying to go against the grain.
I hope the switch port can make it the highest selling DQ game but i am not hopeful
Knowing how the smash normies know now about the DQ franchise solely from the DLC, I have a bit of hope that DQXIS will have decent figures only problem now is that everyone is a fake fan of the core series
Its western sales don't matter until the Switch release. That will decide if it's actually a success or not.
As long as those fair-weather Smash fans continue buying copies of future Dragon Quest games if only for "gamer cred", I don't care if their interest is disingenuous. As long as it means there will no longer be Japan only Dragon Quest games due to sales in the West guaranteeing localizations.
>SMT
Same happened with Persona before 5
Don’t forget that includes Asia, not just the west. So probably less than 400k
SMT is dead because people are too autistic to understand the Law, Neutral, and Chaos factions. Yamai wastes so much energy fighting the new guards who want moe in mainline, and boomers who think SMT should be set in Post-Apocalyptic Tokyo. It makes modest sales now, but not enough because it doesn't appeal to turbo autists who play Persona.
>200mil
That in units sold or overall revenue
200 mill in revenue
>needs to actually cast sexy beam when Veronica is constantly radiating it by default
pleb
How much is the Switch version of 11 going to sell in Japan? Like I know everyone and their mother already bought it there (and that's probably a literal statement), but Switch is crazy popular and this version does have a shitload of new content.
DQ11 wasn't very good. Japanese buy the franchise out of loyalty.
DQ8 was much better and sold more in the west.
Probably a bit more than previously. Japan got most of the content for the new release (3DS x PS4), and the aspect of the on-the-go nature
...
eat shit and die pedo

Why are character outfits static in a 2019 jrpg? Even some older games had unique outfits for the different armors.
But you can change costumes in DQXI? Not just the player character, but your entire party. You'll even have glamour slots for outfits in DQXI S so you can still min-max while wearing what you want.
That's only a small handful of items. They pick and choose which change the character's appearance.
That's as far as most JRPGs are willing to go nowadays.
I honestly prefer it to clownsuiting
