It was originally MGO DLC. They delayed it from 2017 to 2018 to make a singleplayer campaign. Despite this, some people call it a 'cash grab" because adding an entire singleplayer campaign to your MP spinoff without raising the price is totally a cash grab move.

Not at all. Climax Studios made some of the best Silent Hill games. I'd love to see various studios tackle the Metal Gear series, but in fairness the original Metal Gear team works for Konami and they deserve to be in charge of their own series. Kinda like Tomb Raider and Core before they got backstabbed by the crafty Canadians at Crystal Dynamics.

The problem with a PC port is that the game's controls and interface would need to be rejigged to really shine. However, never say never. They should get someone like QLOC, who did a solid job getting RE4 working on PC.
