It's called marketing, retard.
New Bungie IP it seems.
Halo was a sci-fi shooter milestone that changed everything, I'm guessing they're saying that's happening again? No one is falling for that though.
Mate, its not Bungie, just some guy who was a co-creator of older Halo games
The person/people that created Halo and/or its main character are making a new sci-fi shooter that would appear to have pleasant changes to the genre.
New Bungie game?
Destiny 3
I thought bungie wasn’t making new stuff?
from the producers that watched shrek
It's probably gonna be some space sim shooter game
youtube.com
Funnily enough a former bungie employee made the same thing called 'house of the dying sun'
new bungie game? I’m sold
>Sci-fi Shooter.
Inb4 its just a generic slow modern FPS with 2-3 fantasy Abilities to spam instead of regular grenade/trap spam.
>the creator
>of master chief
Literally who x2.
>D I S I N T E G R A T I O N
some math game about calculus for sure
...
I think it’s a ship combat game
I imagined a return to 50’s era segregation
>published by 2K
no thanks
Who the fuck is the creator of Master Chief if they weren't meaning Bungie? Are we supposed to know this? Does anyone even know this?
marcus lehto
My dude, you derive, not disintegrate
This takes me back
You googled this or knew beforehand? I don't remember his name being mentioned before, what a fucking weird way of trying to get at least some star power to the project.
So what's it gonna be like?
Mace Griffin - Bounty Hunter?
Descent?
>When your mechanical design is so shit you can't tell what's the front, what's the back or how big the thing is
kek
Maybe space sim + FPS?
With a decent enough budget, they could've started out on intial planning after the Star Citizen hype and have a polished AAA game of that kind well before SC comes out.
wipeout with guns?
Well space combat was supposed to be an integral part of the original vision of Destiny but got culled due to engine limitations. My guess is that making it with UE4 and a more focused gameplay loop with a smaller more manageable dev team he (Marcus Lehto) can make what he originally wanted
Also the robot in OP's pictures looks strikingly like an Exo from Destiny
They are fans of the Cure
It's a Hideo Kojima game.
Lololololol
Yes yes, you are right
Lololololo
How do you redefine the sci-fi shooter without actually avoiding all the sexism and rampant ageism issues?
Wow! I never knew this and I haven't played any Destiny but from what I have seen, that sound actually pretty believable. Is this like common knowledge out in the open now? What a COLOSSAL fuck up!
Don't understand, no english. Did you rike the cover?
are the guys that worked on the transmorphers movies working on this?
Cough, cough.
Sorry kids, I'm too old to blast space-aliens. Cough. Maybe when your old man gets his nanos, he can fight the good fight again. Gods, I was strong then!
Yep. The development of Destiny was a immense failure. Lots of the original Bungie staff left during the development of Destiny 1 or after it launched. Had notoriously awful management and really bad engine to work with

Most of them went on to create indie titles or just stopped working in the gaming industry all together

Weird, considering that House of the Dying Sun exists, a space shooter from a DIFFERENT ex-Bungie employee best known for his work on Halo.
>Funnily enough a former bungie employee made the same thing called 'house of the dying sun'
>Followed this through development
>Had to watch it get repeatedly dumbed down because of brainlet testers who couldn't handle pre-mission planning and got triggered over shooting down escape pods to earn currency
At least the VR implementation is really good. Closest you can get to Freespace 2 with a Vive even today.
I'm gonna check out House of the Dying Sun now. In the mood for some good old space combat.
Some guy who worked on the first halo is making a game that's not redefining anything is what that means.
RIP in pieces Enemy Starfighter ;~;7
oh good, a pretentious game covered by a pretentious publication.
>Disintegration
What a shitty name compared to Halo.
Quakefag still mad he's too stupid to play CS and too poor to own an xbox, how sad.
bullshit words developers or other people created thread? remember this shit from Peace Walker?
Is that Adam?
transfarring more like transfarting LMOA
What was really odd too was their instance on not doing a proper Vita re-release of Peace Walker despite cross play actually being a thing between Vita and PS3, around when they brought out the HD collection. They even made a Vita version of the collection, just without Peace Walker. You could still play the PSP version but it was a missed opportunity.
>Transfarring isn't supported by Peace Walker running in emulation PS Vita, due to the way PS Vita connects to PS3.
Apparently I was wrong about that, you can't even do it with Peace Walker on Vita because of differences between how the two communicate with the PS3. Fucking hell.
Did Sparth work on that Disintegration game? The art style looks a bit like his Promethean designs.
Imagine if he collaborated with Staten to do writing and Marty to do music
I'd be pretty hype
>>Transfarring isn't supported by Peace Walker running in emulation PS Vita, due to the way PS Vita connects to PS3.
>all this and you can't even use the same save on two different systems at once because it transfers the entire save over so a friend couldn't use my 100% PW save from my psp to see all the stuff in their PS3 version doing pic related to my save onto a computer first
what a bizarre feature
Stupid title for a game
Allegedly you can do it between MGS2/3 on PS3 and Vita, but that still seems like a really weird oversight.
You would've if you watched some halo or bungie documentary
