Yes, it is fun. It's everything Hunt wishes it was as a tactical realism shooter. Very good gunplay imo. It is rough around the edges in spots since it isn't finished yet, but a far better game than this. More fun with a squad of friends though, and kind of hard to accomplish much without one really.

You get wallhacks, but only for so long. If you're getting attacked a lot, which happens since it's easy to find the person who kills the boss, you'll almost always waste out of it before you kill everyone.

It really sucks since I did enjoy it a lot, but I got a refund because there was just no competition over monsters. It was just a big massive shitfest right at the end, which bored the hell out of me.

And hunt is just flat out better designed game out of them two. But playing tarkov won't scratch the hunt itch and vice versa.

It's not really surprising. The game promoted itself as a hunt against monsters / survival game, only the difference is that there is other players hunting in the same world as you.

I already am. It's Anxiety: The Game, with historical weapons that are nicely modelled and have great sounds. If you hate downtime then it's not the game for you, but if you, you know, like to hunt, then it's quite unique among its peers.

I believe their excuse was so what you can shoot lines up with the player model. Specifically talking about shooting from cover it means somebody has to show at least to top third of their body to take a shot at you so no seeing a set of eyes over a wall then getting shot.

It makes sense enough to me and I really like that they saw that as something they didnt want in their game as it annoys me but seems like that is a very cheap and easy fix and does annoy me from time to time

I disliked that higher level players had access to drastically better equipment, and could curbstomp new players. For example, I started out with a shitty, single-shot shotgun, and my friend and I got swept in nearly an instant by a guy using a 5 shot, semi-auto shotgun that had identical damage values. At least in Tarkov, a shitty rusted-out Scav AK missing half of its parts is pretty much just as deadly in the right hands as anything else, and you can go and get geared out with pretty decent weaponry right from the start.

Gear actually doesn't matter as much as you think it does. I still use low level gear 99% of the time because it's cheap and it still kills niggers dead. The single shot shotgun with the hatchet bayonet is my favorite weapon in the game, I've killed more gear queers with that than anything else.

its a graphics setting that makes it blurry. Me and my friend played it and were going to quit but found it was tied to AA if i remember right. Obviously it isnt implemented correctly and blurs everything not just edges. How your company fucks that up on your in house engine that you have exclusively used for a decade is beyond me.

Its really strange that a lot of people complain about exit camping but Ive run into it once from memory. Ive had people try and cut me off once I have the bounty but thats about it. I do play oce so maybe its just a different less gay play style here.

If I do get cut off usually just turning around and going to a different exit will catch them off guard and you can extract before they catch up or even better bait them into sprinting after you into your ambush.

ive just relegated my self to playing vehicles with mates and usually clean house cause we have enough patience/common sense to not just drive them straight onto the point and suicide them like everyone else seems to do.

I dont get what happened between PR and squad but everyone use to treat vehicles like the rarest thing on earth in PR and would be a team wide announcement if one got killed.

Creepy, gross swamps and rundown wooden shacks with light pouring in through cracks in the walls and floors that creak when you step on them make my dick rock hard.
And the guns are really neat too. Really unique and the models are nice.

But the co-op boss hunt and pvp aspect just really, really isn't for me. Most frustrating game I've encountered because I like everything but the core game mode.

Multiplayer only. It's not really a BR, there are only 10 players per match and the objective is to fight the other players over the bounties dropped by PVE bosses you have to kill and then extract to get money and XP. Like others have said, it's basically Escape From Tarkov: Easy Mode edition.
