Is it worth grinding the veldt with this guy right when you get him or should i just come back later?

Just get Cat Scratch then fuck off til the cataclysm.

all you need is cat scratch and he's automatically one of the best party members

I wish to be impregnated by Gau

Just get the Stray Cat and Guard Leader rages.

He can be really strong in the first world with little effort. Stuff like stray cat and aspiran and hill gigas. Unless you're on the SNES version, Rage is good but not great offensively in the second world

I am playing the SNES version. Still worth it would you say? What are the superior alternatives to gau?

Just don;t be the sad fuck who grinded with Shadow then didn't wait for him on the floating continent.

Sketching an invisible enemy to potentially give yourself all the best equipment or nuking your save file.

Nah it's still not worth it to grind the veldt really but rage doesn't fall off because you can equip merit award, tempest sword or knife or whatever, masters scroll, and use stray cat rage. Just google "wind god gau"

another question, do you have to kill the enemy for them to appear in the veldt or will having just encountered them be enough?

encounter

Just seeing it is enough.

gotta wonder why this cat is being such a cunt and not appearing then

stop playing right now and play the GBA version with the sound restoration and colour correction patches.

it's just a better version of the game with more content.

I don't remember exactly how it works but I believe it has to cycle through every formation you've seen, so it will show up eventually.

I did all my veldt manipulation on gba and it works slightly differently but stray cat appears in three formations in pack 7 so it shouldn't be too hard if you've encountered those formations

Here's how you make your Gau a god of WoB:
>get Marshal/Guard Leader as soon as you get Gau and spam that to kill everything
>go back and get aspik and anguiform after the battle of narshe to one/two shot everything, bosses included
>get chickenlip and gaia gears before the floating continent to become invincible
>get rhodox to easily deal with things like intangirs
He can be very very strong in WoR as well, but unless you're playing the SNES version where you can easy mode it, you have to go out of your way to get the good stuff.

One alternative would be the crazy Cyan glitch where his parry ability parries everything, including his own parries. Causing him to attack repeatedly until everything is dead.

Why wouldn't you as the player wait? Did you not save the game? If you don't wait then are you just chancing that he'll survive? Was this just put in as a pleb filter?

For me, it's Relm.
