What went so right?
Legacy of Kain
It was a labor of love, not strictly for mass appeal and profit.

Superb writing, voice acting and atmosphere. Gameplay is just alright.
They had a get out of jail free card with lazy writing.

I don't even understand how this shit came from the goddamn 80's. All the goth shit back then sounded like Bauhaus.
They cast him in pretty well. But he didn't die so good. That is you shoot Raziel before throwing in to the abbys.
It was written by a woman.
The voice acting and written dialogue is phenomenal.
Nobody could voice Raziel and Kain better than these guys.
AGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I want this game remade, with Turel added back in (he can escape or whatever and still show up in Defiance.) Story is still top shelf, but the game itself aged so poorly I can't bring myself to play it. I still happily play all the other games, including Blood Omen 2
It...didn't? Kurt Harland released the InSoc album Don't Be Afraid in 97. It was only him and none of the other InSoc band members, and of course it was the best InSoc album ever created. My only issue with pre-Legacy Ozar is the fruity spoken word he does at the beginning of it about Ronald McDonald or whatever the fuck.

The cheese should not be divided. I would rather it be ABSCONDED BY A CHEATER than be split in half.
>Implying Kain didn't want Raziel to turn into a wraith from the start
get out of my head
Not much, unfortunately
Why aren’t there more video games inspired by Shakespeare? Every other medium has ten thousand Shakespeare adaptations but all video games get are LoK and the occasional indie game.

Entomorph has more interesting (while very similar) story, than Blood Omen 1 does.
Shit, for some reason, I thought Kurt released this back in the 80's.
Sometimes I love you guys
